When getting into Cao Long’s business car and driving back to the entrance of the Cao Family courtyard, Ye Qiu noticed there were indeed many cars parked outside, all luxury cars like rcedes and BMWs.

Ye Qiu, Liu Lingxiu, the three won, and Cao Ling got out of the car and followed Cao Long inside. As soon as they entered the Cao Family courtyard, they saw many people, both n and won, old and young.

Apparently, Cao Long bringing Cao Ling and Liu Lingxiu inside was quite a surprise.

Especially for Cao Ling.

Although Cao Ling was a mber of the Cao Family, she hadn’t returned for a year. Unexpectedly, seeing such a beautiful woman appear now, they could hardly believe this was indeed Cao Ling.

As Cao Long led Cao Ling to greet the elders and uncles, Ye Qiu and Liu Lingxiu’s three won sat outside.

After about ten minutes, Ye Qiu saw so elderly n in their sixties and seventies, looking about the sa age as Old Cao, approach him.

"This is Dr. Ye Qiu,"

Cao Ling said.

"Dr. Ye, you said you could cure Third Grandfather’s condition?"

According to the Cao Family’s current hierarchy, this Third Grandfather had the highest seniority and was the oldest.

If a family is very poor, they might not be able to take care of the elderly, but if a wealthy extended family respects and reveres elders, then the elderly beco a treasure of the family.

"Yes."

Ye Qiu said.

Ye Qiu didn’t want to elaborate on the specifics of the treatnt.

Now that Ye Qiu said this, the elders were temporarily sowhat convinced because they had heard from Cao Ling that Ye Qiu had easily cured Old Cao’s and her uncle’s tetanus.

By the ti dinner was served around eight in the evening, a few chefs had been invited to help at the Cao Family.

Now, Ye Qiu, Liu Lingxiu’s three won, Cao Ling, and so of the Cao elders were sitting at a table for dinner.

The dishes were abundant, with at, seafood, and more.

However, with so many people dining together now, Ye Qiu realized it was just like the ti when they were moving into the new mansion, and they ate at a hotel.

After dinner, it was already past nine in the evening.

Ye Qiu decided to have the first contact with Third Grandfather. After all, given his condition, he could pass away at any mont, ready to et his ancestors.

As Ye Qiu and Cao Ling headed to Third Grandfather’s residence, the younger mbers of the Cao Family followed, having heard that Ye Qiu was going to treat Third Grandfather.

When they reached the door, Ye Qiu said, "You all wait outside; I’ll treat him alone."

Ye Qiu didn’t want them following or watching.

Inside,

Third Grandfather had already been unable to eat, relying entirely on intravenous feeding for nutrition.

Now, as Ye Qiu entered, he only saw a nurse assisting with wiping Third Grandfather’s body.

Even with the air conditioning on during this sumr, a person still felt very hot, and Third Grandfather’s internal organs had begun to decay, producing a mix of secretion and the stench of death from his skin that was quite unbearable.

Were it not for the nurse being accustod to serving such elders, younger nursing staff might have been nauseated.

As Ye Qiu asked the nurse to leave and closed the door, the sll inside beca even more apparent.

Compared to a few hours ago, Third Grandfather’s internal organs seed to be decaying faster.

The thick stench of death perated the air, which was unbearable for most people.

Ye Qiu looked at the sleeping elder.

He extended his hand directly onto the elder’s chest, absorbing the continuous flow of death energy from his body.

Now, Ye Qiu first absorbed the elder’s death energy.

Then, tomorrow, he planned to help restore his internal organs.

After absorbing the death energy, about an hour had passed, and the elder looked sowhat different than before.

As Ye Qiu opened the door, the Cao Family mbers hurried in, and they noticed that Third Grandfather did indeed look sowhat different on the bed, though they couldn’t pinpoint exactly what had changed.

However, after checking his blood pressure and heart rate, they found significant differences compared to before.

"I will co back tomorrow to continue the treatnt, and in three days, I guarantee he’ll be like a person in their fifties or sixties."

Having said that, Ye Qiu prepared to leave.

At this point, the Cao Family was treating a dead horse as if it were alive; in Third Grandfather’s situation, he would surely die without treatnt, but with treatnt, there might be hope of recovery.

They did not know how Ye Qiu had treated him just now.

As Ye Qiu, Liu Lingxiu’s three won, and Cao Ling prepared to return to the Wangfujing Hotel to rest, Cao Long personally drove the five of them back in the business car.

Upon arriving at the hotel entrance, Cao Long said, "Dr. Ye, I’ll co to pick you up tomorrow."

"Actually, if you could arrange a small car for , that would be even better. I plan to take my friends out for so fun during this ti."

"Of course, no problem."

Now renting a car in the Capital City is very convenient, as long as you have a driver’s license.

Moreover, given the Cao Family’s situation, arranging a small car for Ye Qiu was a trivial matter.

"Dr. Ye, I’ll arrange it right away."

Cao Long made a call to have a BMW brought over.

Ye Qiu, Liu Lingxiu’s three won, and Cao Ling went upstairs, and Ye Qiu and Liu Lingxiu went into their room.

In fact, flying directly from Jinling to the Capital City only took two hours, not very far, and the trip wasn’t very exhausting.

However, since Liu Lingxiu and the others were re mortals, Ye Qiu asked Liu Lingxiu to take a shower first and rest early.

On the balcony, Ye Qiu looked out at the stunningly beautiful and brilliant night view of the Capital City. The moonlight overhead was quite pleasant tonight.

Ye Qiu had not forgotten about cultivation breakthroughs. Every ti he treated soone, it consud a significant amount of spiritual energy and True Qi.

It’s like a law of energy conservation; the spiritual energy absorbed from outside isn’t infinite and can indeed be depleted when used.

Moreover, each breakthrough follows a process from quantitative to qualitative change, another aspect of energy conservation.

Liu Lingxiu took her pajamas and private clothing to prepare for a shower, when Ye Qiu recalled the surveillance caras he encountered in the hotel.

"Lingshow, let thoroughly check first for any hidden surveillance caras."

After ticulously inspecting and confirming no hidden caras, Ye Qiu let Liu Lingxiu go shower.

Ye Qiu left the room and went to Xiaomai and Lin Xiang’s room, surprising the two won with his visit.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Lin Xiang asked.

She was just about to undress for a shower.

"I’m checking for any surveillance caras," Ye Qiu said. "Honestly, I don’t fully trust five-star hotels here."

Additionally, so surveillance caras were secretly installed by guests, unbeknownst to the hotel.
