Xiaomai wasn’t surprised, but Liu Lingxiu and Lin Xiang were indeed taken aback. Wasn’t Cao Ling too forward, hugging Ye Qiu so intimately?

Is this really just a normal friendship?

After Lin Xiang snapped that photo with slightly trembling hands, Ye Qiu pulled Liu Lingxiu and Xiaomai over, stood in the middle, and after taking a photo with the two won, it was almost 7:40 in the morning.

Now the sun had fully risen. The morning by the sea was quite nice, and many small fishing boats had stopped by the shore, directly selling seafood to tourists.

It’s obvious that the seafood bought here is much cheaper and looks fresher.

"Ye Qiu, should we buy so to cook later?"

"There’s no need for us to do that; there are restaurants around here that specialize in cooking for tourists," said Ye Qiu.

He saw many tourists flocking to the attractions.

However, it was still early, and he wanted to take the girls for morning tea and then go back to rest, only to eat later in the afternoon.

"Let’s go have so tea first, we can co back tomorrow to buy so."

As he pulled Liu Lingxiu and Xiaomai to leave, Cao Ling and Lin Xiang followed behind.

In the Beidaihe area, many tourists co here often, including overseas visitors, so there are quite a few teahouses around.

The local teahouses here are mainly from the Capital City, and there are also Cantonese-style teahouses from the south, each showcasing different regional styles.

The snacks and dim sum from the Jinling area are also unique.

After driving to a teahouse, parking the car, and going upstairs, a waitress led them to a private room Ye Qiu requested.

"Aren’t you going to call your cousin to see if they want to join us?"

Cao Ling picked up her phone to call Cao Long.

After a while, Cao Long replied, "Still not awake, played until very late last night."

Cao Ling then hung up, realizing that Cao Long and Young Master Zhou must have played until the wee hours of the morning and weren’t awake yet.

While Liu Lingxiu and the three girls were holding nus and ordering, they noticed so familiar dim sum and others they hadn’t seen before, probably related to the local specialties.

They naturally knew the taste of what they’d had before, and were eager to try those they hadn’t.

After the four girls ordered, Ye Qiu only asked for Longjing tea and sat there waiting.

When the waitress brought over the recently ordered dim sum, the four girls didn’t eat much and were a bit stuffed.

After finishing at around ten in the morning, they called for the waitress to settle the bill and then left the teahouse to return to the rented villa.

Returning now is just going back to sleep.

After all, coming here was about enjoying eating, drinking, and having fun.

As the four won headed to their rooms, Ye Qiu thought for a mont and decided to go to Cao Ling’s room.

Cao Ling had just returned to her room, swapped her high heels for slippers to wash her feet, and was about to change into a nightgown to rest when she saw Ye Qiu sneakily open the door and co in.

"Hey, what are you doing here?"

"Of course, to sleep."

"It’s broad daylight, don’t do anything stupid."

In Cao Ling’s view, it really wasn’t appropriate in the dayti, and she was also afraid that Liu Lingxiu and the others might hear sothing.

Last night, she had tried hard to restrain herself from making any noises, but unexpectedly, there were still so.

Thinking about that sound, Cao Ling felt her cheeks flush, but she realized she couldn’t control herself.

When Ye Qiu went to take a shower and then got into bed and took off his clothes, Cao Ling wasn’t sure whether she was happy or not.

It wasn’t until after two in the afternoon that Ye Qiu woke up, and Cao Ling woke up too.

Having slept, they both felt much more refreshed.

After Ye Qiu gave Cao Ling a kiss, he went back to his room to shower.

Earlier, Ye Qiu really hadn’t done anything to her.

But for so reason, Cao Ling felt a bit regretful.

She didn’t even know what she was thinking.

After waking up Liu Lingxiu and the three other girls, they left the villa.

By this ti, Cao Long and Young Master Zhou would surely be up already.

Arriving at a seafood restaurant, there were still quite a few tourists there, all coming for a al.

Ye Qiu reserved a private room and asked Cao Ling to call Cao Long as they were preparing to co over.

Sitting in the private room now, despite maybe being the hottest ti of the day, the climate here felt particularly warm.

Ye Qiu thought, if it snows here in winter, it should still be beautiful.

When Cao Long and Young Master Zhou rushed over, Cao Long said, "Dr. Ye, I never expected the weather here to be so comfortable; I think I’ll spend more sumrs here in the future."

"The villas here are nice, we could buy a few."

Buy a few?

Several million per villa?

For Young Master Zhou and the others, it’s naturally nothing.

For ordinary people, a house might an a lifeti of commitnt.

But for Young Master Zhou and the others, a house is just a mont’s effort, a phone call, and they can get one. Not to ntion luxury mansions; just with a call, they can get houses all over the country, and even abroad.

So, they are not interested in these houses, unlike ordinary people who chase after them desperately.

"We usually play in the sanatoriums and seldom outside. But being outside feels much freer," said Young Master Zhou.

If they followed their elders, they’d certainly stay in the senior officials’ sanatoriums.

There are hot springs inside, along with all sorts of recreational facilities, quite comfortable indeed.

But of course, outside, without anyone managing, it’s definitely much more enjoyable.

"If Dr. Ye likes, I can have soone find you so nice villas," said Young Master Li.

"I think I’ll pass; I’m going back to Jinling in a few days. I’m not sure when I’ll be back in the Capital City," Ye Qiu responded.

This ti, it was because he had to treat Cao Ling’s granduncle. Otherwise, he would probably be staying in Jinling.

He felt no sense of belonging to the Capital City; to him, it was just a temporary place.

At this ti, Cao Long said, "I heard that the situation with the eldest son of the Ye Family is getting worse, and they have already started preparing for his afterlife affairs."

As for the relationship between Ye Feng and Ye Qiu, they were not entirely sure, but it was clear that Ye Qiu detested the Ye Family, especially Ye Feng.

"Life and death are fated, wealth and honor in heaven. This person’s fate was long destined."

However, in Cao Long’s view, if Ye Qiu were willing to treat Ye Feng, there’s a chance he could cure him.

But why would Ye Qiu want to help him?

Because Ye Feng’s current state, on the surface, was caused by Ye Qiu, but in reality, it was Ye Feng himself who brought it upon himself. If he hadn’t repeatedly attempted to take Ye Qiu’s life, Ye Qiu wouldn’t have treated him that way.

Moreover, in Ye Qiu’s eyes, Ye Feng was just an ordinary ant.

There would be no emotions for ants, and when they die, they just die.

It’s like easily crushing an ant on the road with one step.
