893: Chapter 0893: Advanced Gastric Cancer 893: Chapter 0893: Advanced Gastric Cancer The Paris Affiliated Hospital is a research-oriented hospital affiliated with the Paris dical Academy, ranking relatively high among public hospitals in Paris.

Previously, Cao Ling and Wu Shuang accompanied Elder Cao to this hospital for an examination of his persistent lung phlegm.

Although they didn’t manage to extract much in the end, it did not imply incompetence in other dical areas.

Now, Henry was making a call to that hospital, requesting them to send over a late-stage gastric cancer patient.

Cancers in their late stages are quite common abroad.

Typically, patients have two options: euthanasia to relieve the pain and depart this world earlier, or continuing treatnt, albeit with imnse suffering.

At this mont, Henry contacted an acquaintance in the internal dicine departnt of the Paris Affiliated Hospital, explaining that a patient with late-stage gastric cancer was needed for the European dical conference study.

In general, Westerners are more open-minded about these matters, which explains why many Westerners, especially once deceased due to illness, are willing to donate their bodies to research institutions.

Henry only needed to make one phone call to have the arrangents quickly set in motion.

“Should the patient be delivered to the hotel?”

The person on the other end inquired.

“Yes!”

Henry replied.

After confirming the arrangents, Henry confidently turned his gaze to Louise and the young man in plain clothes nearby, wondering what the young man would do.

Should he fail to heal the patient and rely play a joke, Henry would certainly have many ways to trouble these two individuals later.

Ye Qiu and Zhou Wenting remained seated, with no trace of worry showing on Ye Qiu’s face.

About half an hour later, the patient was sent over by the hospital’s doctors and a female nurse, wheeled into the hotel’s conference room with an IV stand attached.

Quickly, the elderly man, approximately in his sixties, appeared skeletal due to gastric cancer’s tornt.

Despite the generally larger fra and bone structure of French individuals, this man’s eyes were sunken, hollow, devoid of expression.

Accompanying him were not only the doctor and nurse but also so of his family mbers.

Having heard that the European dical Conference personnel might be able to save their relative, they naturally agreed to bring him along.

Upon entering, they discovered that the room was filled with renowned European dical experts, researchers, and others.

“Dr.

Henry, the patient has been delivered,”

The doctor inford.

“Just push the patient over here.

The Divine Doctor will be treating him shortly,”

Henry replied with a mocking smile.

The elderly man’s family seed confused.

Were the researchers and dical experts not supposed to treat their loved one?

Now, Henry and the other dical personnel in the conference turned their gaze toward the young man with plain clothes seated nearby.

How was this possible?

Could it really be him?

“Ye Qiu, you…?”

Zhou Wenting asked hesitantly.

“It’s nothing,”

Ye Qiu replied.

“Qiu, can you do this?”

Louise also approached him, her tone now tinged with certain nervousness.

After all, looking at the elderly man before them, he seed on the verge of death, even more severe than Count Charley had been before.

“A man cannot say he’s incapable!”

Ye Qiu strode forward, exchanged a few words with the elderly man’s family, and conversed briefly with the doctor and nurse.

He quickly confird that the patient indeed had late-stage gastric cancer, and his condition had drastically worsened.

The hospital was rely trying to minimize his suffering.

Given that the cancer cells had already spread and tastasized, curing him was widely deed impossible.

The only remaining choices were to endure further suffering or opt for euthanasia.

Generally speaking, Western patients confronted with terminal illnesses are more inclined toward euthanasia compared to those in the East.

“I’ll be taking this patient into another room to treat him privately.

In half an hour, I’ll completely cure him, eradicating all cancer cells in his body!”

Ye Qiu declared abruptly.

How could this be possible?

Eradicating all of the elderly man’s cancer cells?

This sounded utterly preposterous!

Aside from Zhou Wenting and Louise, the other European dical professionals, observers, and reporters couldn’t believe what Ye Qiu was saying.

Yet, why was Ye Qiu insisting on treating him alone?

Wasn’t it possible to conduct the treatnt publicly?

“Why do you need to treat him in private?”

Henry asked imdiately.

“I don’t like being disturbed!”

Ye Qiu said coldly.

Henry had no retort and could only allow Ye Qiu to wheel the elderly man into a separate room.

Now, as Ye Qiu pushed the elderly man inside, the patient sat silently in his wheelchair, eyes half-closed and seemingly lifeless.

His hollow stare, sunken eyeballs, and skeletal nose resembled the visage of Western dark mages.

Ye Qiu understood that this was the result of prolonged suffering from gastric cancer and malnutrition’s compounded effects on the body.

Moreover, Westerners generally had stronger bone structures compared to Easterners, making their frail appearances during illness more pronounced.

Ye Qiu said nothing further, knowing well that the elderly man couldn’t speak, nor did he have the strength to open his eyes amidst such agony.

Yet, Ye Qiu was certain that he was still alive, with a beating heart, perceptible pulse, and faint breath.

Ye Qiu simply needed to treat him close-up, absorbing the cancer cells from his body.

He would begin absorbing from the stomach and gradually target other parts of the body.

Luckily, Ye Qiu had been cultivating the Primordial Five Emperors Technique over the past few days.

Without it, relying solely on previously absorbed Spiritual Energy wouldn’t have guaranteed the ability to eliminate all of the cancer cells in one go.

As monts passed, Zhou Wenting, Louise, Dr.

Fran, other dical staff, reporters, onlookers, and the patient’s family waited nervously outside.

Louise, in particular, harbored conflicted emotions.

On one hand, she trusted Ye Qiu’s mysterious dical skills and felt confident in him.

On the other hand, she feared sothing might go wrong.

Henry remained arrogant, occasionally glancing at his Swiss gold watch.

He wanted to see if Ye Qiu could really accomplish this within thirty minutes.

“Ti’s up!”

Henry announced.

Louise looked toward Zhou Wenting beside her.

Zhou whispered softly, “Previously, Ye Qiu cured my father’s late-stage lung cancer, and that’s how I ca to know him.”

Louise nodded; she rembered this detail.

It was precisely for this reason that she had invited Zhou Wenting and Ye Qiu to treat Count Charley.

While the two won whispered quietly, the door to the room slowly opened.
