Chapter 983: Chapter 0983: Watching Horror Movies
There’s a bathroom upstairs and downstairs, and usually, if both girls want to shower at the sa ti, they just use separate ones.
Ye Qiu sat on the sofa watching those boring Korean dramas as Liu Xia, already showered and slling fresh, ca down.
“Are you going ho tonight?”

“Then I’ll get my pajamas for you to wear.”

She has a eting at 8:30 tomorrow, so she needs to get up before eight. It’s already past midnight, almost one, and she needs as much sleep as she can get.
As for the TV playing downstairs, as long as it’s not too loud, and with the door closed, she can’t hear it at all.

“Where did you find this disc? And this DVD player?”
“The previous owner left them. I was cleaning and found hundreds of discs here—lots of movies from the Hong Kong of the eighties and nineties. Xiaxia and I watched for quite a while without finishing. But now I’m watching a recorded Japanese horror film ‘Sadako.’
Xiao Hong pulled Ye Qiu to sit beside her.
At first, neither of them noticed, but as the living room lights were turned off, leaving only the TV’s glow amidst the eerie atmosphere…
Ye Qiu didn’t feel much about horror films, they mostly just scared regular people.
If it was real, it might even scare Ye Qiu.

But Xiao Hong felt, Ye Qiu’s body was very warm.
“It’s so scary!”
Xiao Hong said.
“Want to turn it off?”
“No, I want to finish watching.”
Xiao Hong wanted to continue watching.
Ye Qiu found the scary atmosphere diocre at best, possibly frightening so, but not him.

This kid, calling at such a late hour.
The ring startled both Ye Qiu and Xiao Hong.
“What is it?”

“Brother Qiu, wanna co out and hang, it’s lively here.”
“Where?”
“At Jiangnan Paradise.”
Ning Yun said from the other side.
Looking at Xiao Hong nearly done watching the horror film, Ye Qiu said, “Wait, I’ll call you back.”
After hanging up, Xiao Hong asked, “You’re going out? Can I co?”
“The place I’m going isn’t suitable for you.”
What kind of place?
Not suitable for herself.
Soon, Xiao Hong’s mind wandered.
“Then I’ll tell Xiaxia tomorrow.”
“Suit yourself.”
Ye Qiu didn’t want to stay watching silly horror films with Xiao Hong as he wasn’t scared at all. As he got up, heading upstairs to change into the clothes he wore today.
He sniffed them, finding no sweat odor—acceptable.
Coming downstairs, he told Xiao Hong, “Stop watching now, go to bed early.”
“What if I can’t sleep?”
“Go to Xiaxia’s room and sleep with her!”
Ye Qiu put on his sneakers and headed out. Xiao Hong closed the door and didn’t dare to watch the horror film anymore, tiptoeing to Liu Xia’s room, not even turning on the light, slipping inside.
When sleeping, they didn’t need to lock the door with only the two of them at ho.
Climbing onto the bed, Xiao Hong hugged the drowsy Liu Xia.
Liu Xia rembered Ye Qiu being there, thinking it was him entering her room, feeling sweet.
But unexpectedly, the other embraced tighter, and Liu Xia noticed her hair was long, shouting in surprise, startling both.
“Who are you?”
“Xiaxia, it’s , you scared to death just now.”
When Liu Xia turned on the lamp, she saw it really was Xiao Hong; no wonder her hair was so long. She thought soone had co in.
After all, Ye Qiu’s hair couldn’t be that long.
“Why is it you? Isn’t Ye Qiu watching horror movies with you?”
“He got a friend’s call and left. I didn’t dare watch alone, so I ca here to sleep with you. I didn’t expect you to scare .”
