Far away from the events unfolding outside, Lin Xuan Qi and his servants were hard at work in the garden.
He had rolled up his sleeve and tried to lift a stone away from his path.
The stone was half his height and twice as wide.
Surprisingly, when he used his Five-Elent Qi to lift it up, it felt as light as a feather.
His practice with the Daoist Five-Elent Cultivation Techniques had enhanced his strength and body.
"Master Lin, let help carry." Zhi Yong ca up to him and offered help.
"Help lift it on the other side." Lin Xuan Qi didn’t reject Zhi Yong’s help and instructed him to lift the stone opposite him.
With Zhi Yong in the picture, Lin Xuan Qi could try and use his full strength with the Five-Elent Qi.
"Master Lin, strong?" Zhi Yong couldn’t believe it when they lifted the stone up with incredible ease.
Lin Xuan Qi shrugged his shoulders and said, "Maybe you are?"
He thought that maybe after he had success with Xue Cong and Yue Jie in practicing the Daoist Five-Elent Cultivation Techniques, it would be great for Zhi Yong to practice it too.
Zhi Yong was loyal and proved his worth.
He would need soone strong and powerful to help him manage the Clan when it got bigger.
Not knowing what he ant, Zhi Yong stood with his hand behind the back of his head, smiling at him.
"Master Lin, have so tea." Xue Cong tried to get him to rest.
Tea was ready for him inside the pavilion beside the pond.
Lin Xuan Qi felt thirsty and said, "Everyone take a break too."
The other servants hard at work stopped what they were doing and said, "Yes, Master Lin."
They went to the trees and rested beneath their shade.
Lin Xuan Qi sat at the pavilion and glanced at their progress.
The pond was finally cleared up with the landscaping touched up.
All that was left was to do so repair work to the pavilion and bring the water into the pond.
And after that, he would be able to buy fish to put into the pond.
He was itching to fish for a long ti.
And he wasn’t about to let the pond go to waste.
Rustle.
A breeze blew by the garden, and everyone closed their eyes to enjoy the relief it brought from the heat.
They were feeling sticky and sweaty after all the work in the morning.
"Master Lee." One of the guards ca over and approached Lee He Song.
He whispered sothing to Lee He Song and Lee He Song nodded his head silently.
"Master Lin, I have soone to attend to at the gate."
"Go ahead." Lin Xuan Qi replied.
He didn’t need Lee He Song to be with him all the ti inside the mansion.
No one could beat him here inside the mansion.
Lee He Song thanked him and left the pavilion.

"Any news?" Lee He Song asked the kid who was in ragged clothes at the wooden gates of the mansion.
The kid gave him a nod and said, "Soone broke out of the prison. They were...half-man and half-beast."
His hands fidgeted while he said so.
The imagery of these creatures still gave him fear.
He had never seen sothing like it before.
"Half-man, half-beast?" Lee He Song pondered and held his hand on the kid’s shoulders, "Are there any others that broke out of the prison?"
"I’m not too sure. We had to run for our lives after we saw those creatures." The kid replied and shook his head.
"Thanks." Lee He Song took out so copper coins and handed them over to the kid.
It seed like it was sothing out of his hands.
As a martial arts fighter, there was only so much he could do.
He sent the kid on his way and got back to where Lin Xuan Qi was.
"Master Lin..." When he got back to the pavilion, Lee He Song greeted Lin Xuan Qi, got close to Lin Xuan Qi and whispered what he knew to Lin Xuan Qi.
Lin Xuan Qi frowned when he heard what had happened.
He glanced at Lee He Song and hesitated.
If he agreed to Lee He Song’s request to check on Liu Ju Zheng, he wasn’t sure if Lee He Song would be safe from what was happening outside.
Lee He Song saw his concerns and gave him a smile.
"Let this old man do what he wants. I don’t have much ti left anyway." He patted Lin Xuan Qi on his shoulder and said.
Reluctantly, Lin Xuan Qi gave out a sigh and said, "Please co back safely."
He envied Liu Ju Zheng to have such a loyal friend who was willing to risk his life for him.
Lin Xuan Qi knew that even if he had stopped him, Lee He Song wouldn’t be able to get over the fact and would try to check on his friend anyway.
"Don’t let the sisters know." Lee He Song said while he glanced at Yue Jie and Yue Xin who were resting a distance away.
Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head and said, "Don’t worry, I know what to do."
With his assurance, Lee He Song bowed to Lin Xuan Qi and proceeded to leave the mansion.
"Shi Shi." Lin Xuan Qi called out for Liu Shi Shi.
"What?" Liu Shi Shi, who was busy with the guards, replied impatiently.
"Co with ." He stood up and walked towards the main hall.
Liu Shi Shi didn’t know what he was up to but followed closely behind him.
They reached the main hall alone as the other servants were in the garden.
She hadn’t been alone with him for quite so ti, and it made her nervous and happy at the sa ti.
He had been spending so much more ti with Xue Cong and Yue Jie than her.
But her happiness was short-lived.
"I need you to double up on the guards.
"Things are happening outside the mansion as we speak."
