Soldiers who were near Eunuch Xin didn’t know what to do next.
Their knees buckled under the stress when Eunuch Xin’s gaze turned to them.
"Kill these imperial pigs!" So rebels had climbed over the edge of the walls with their ladders.
They didn’t wait and lunged at the soldiers.
One of the rebels swung his stick at the soldiers but the soldiers’ armor gave out a bright glow and the glow engulfed their bodies.
Crack.
The stick of the rebel broke into pieces.
The soldiers thrust their swords at the rebel, and their cold blades ca out of the rebel’s body in crimson.
Splatter.
Blood spilled onto the ground from the rebel’s body.
"Avenge our brother!" It didn’t deter the rebels and more of them lunged at the soldiers.
By now, their adrenaline had kicked in.
Even when their hands or legs were sliced off by the soldiers’ swords, they kept coming at the soldiers.
"Argh!" Finally, so managed to get close enough to the soldiers and stabbed their daggers into the soldiers’ faces and necks.
Eunuch Xin also joined in the foray, ripping the heads of the soldiers off their bodies in cold blood.
"Wait for , your majesty! I shall eliminate those corrupted officials for you and return a clean Da Qian Dynasty to you!"
He shouted hysterically as if the emperor could hear him.
With Eunuch Xin in the equation, the soldiers were no match for him, and they were slowly beaten back towards the staircase leading down to the gates.
"We have to stop them here." One of the soldiers shouted.
Eunuch Xin narrowed his eyes and stared at the soldier.
He lunged at the soldier, but a twirling wind ca at him from behind the soldier.
Whoosh.
The twirling wind got close to him in an instant.
Eunuch Xin had to twist his body in midair to get out of the way of the Twirling Wind Strike.
The rebels behind Eunuch Xin weren’t as lucky as he was.
The twirling wind ripped through the rebels’ bodies, rupturing the flesh, bones and innards into pieces.
"Hehe. Guess we et again." Eunuch Xin licked his lips and grinned when he saw Hong Hai again.
His grin disappeared when he saw Sima Ye, Zhao Jia Rui and Du Feng appear from behind Hong Hai.
If only Lee Yi Hong was around. Eunuch Xin thought to himself.
anwhile, the battle between Lee Zhen Ren and Zhan Lao wasn’t over.
Zhan Lao had hacked his axe downwards at Lee Zhen Ren’s shoulder.

Lee Zhen Ren raised his sword, turned it vertically and blocked the hack from Zhan Lao, giving out a loud tallic bang.
He pushed the sword toward Zhan Lao next, and it forced Zhan Lao to fly backwards, getting further away from him.
It was what he wanted.
Lee Zhen Ren reached into his pocket sleeve and hurled sothing out of it.
Nine needles with red threads flew at Zhan Lao in different directions.
A few of them penetrated through Zhan Lao’s burly body and arms.
"Damn you!" Zhan Lao cursed and tried to use his axe to slice through the red threads of the needles.
To his horror, the blade of his axe wasn’t able to do so.
The needles kept going, and they were trying to sew him up.
Zhan Lao knew that he had to do sothing quick before he was sewn up by the needles and threads.
"Yuan Kai, I swear I’ll skin you alive if I get the chance!" He cursed and tried to rip the threads out of his arms.
The threads were made of a special Artifact, and he wasn’t able to do so with all his might.
Pain, blood and the groans from the rebels below filled Zhan Lao’s ears.
Zhan Lao closed his eyes and took a pill out from his sleeve pocket.
It had a dark glow around it and tentacles were coming out from the pill.
Lee Zhen Ren hurled his sword at Zhan Lao, but it was too late.
Zhan Lao had popped the pill into his mouth and swallowed it.
"Grrr...." He started to give out a beastly groan, and his body started to twitch.
Muscles of Zhan Lao began to grow, and he was soon twice as large as he was.
His arms were now twice as big as an adult’s head.
Thud.
The sword of Lee Zhen Ren hit Zhan Lao’s chest but wasn’t able to penetrate it.
Zhan Lao held onto the blade of Lee Zhen Ren’s sword instead.
The sword wobbled as it tried to fly back to Lee Zhen Ren but couldn’t.
Zhan Lao then wrapped the red threads with his huge burly arm and yanked them hard towards him.
The sudden jerk and force caused Lee Zhen Ren to fly towards Zhan Lao.
Splatter.
Zhan Lao threw a fist at Lee Zhen Ren’s head, and it smashed his head.
Blood and flesh burst out into the air.
Lee Zhen Ren’s body then dropped towards the ground like a falling star.
Boom!
He smashed into the wall where Sima Ye and the Qing Feng Sect disciples were fighting.
"Lee Zhen Ren!" Sima Ye was close to getting rid of Eunuch Xin but had to stop and check on Lee Zhen Ren.
Lee Zhen Ren waved his hand at Sima Ye and gave out a smirk.
His head, which was now deford, was slowly growing back to how it was.
The healing powers of soone at Core Formation Level were much better than Sima Ye’s were.
Boom!
Zhan Lao didn’t waste any ti, and he ca at Lee Zhen Ren with his fists over his head, smashing them down at Lee Zhen Ren.
Lee Zhen Ren held up his arms above his head and blocked the attack from Zhan Lao.
Crack.
Sounds of bones cracking could be heard when the fists of Zhan Lao ca down onto Lee Zhen Ren’s arms.
"Senior martial brother, what should we do now?" Zhao Jia Rui asked.
It seed to her that things weren’t going too well for them.
Sima Ye frowned and decided to help.
He reached into his sleeve pocket and took sothing out of it.
