Lee He Song placed his hands onto the doors of a small house along the street.
Inside it, a man with a thick moustache and beard was slurping so noodles with the candle burning beside him.
Creak.
The doors of the house creaked open, and Lee He Song entered the house.
The owner of the house stopped his slurping of the noodles, placed the bowl he had in his hands on the table and reached for his saber lying beside him.
His face glowed in an orange tint when he looked up to see who had co into his house.
"Next ti, please knock." The man gave out a long sigh of relief when he saw that it was Lee He Song.
Tis were chaotic and the man thought that it was one of his enemies that had co to end his life.
"I see that you are living an exciting life as usual." Lee He Song dragged a chair towards him, turned it around and sat down.
"Of course, I got to make a living, you know." The man wiped the soup that had dripped onto his beard with his sleeve. After which, he wiped his sleeve with his cloth on the waist.
The man glanced at Lee He Song and asked, "What brings you here?"
"I’m here to find out so information from you..." Lee He Song said and took out a small pouch and threw it at the man.
The man caught the small pouch and opened it.
He was more than happy to see the copper coins inside.
"What do you want to know?" The man grinned at Lee He Song and stroked his thick bushy beard.
"Who were the n that had tried to disrupt the dispensing of the charity porridge?"
"Oh... those n are from the poison fang gang.
"They gather around the gambling den at the corner of the street.
"You should be able to find them there.
"But I have to warn you, they aren’t soone to trifle with. Their gang leader Poison Fang ng is soone rumored to be able to take on a martial art fighting expert like you."
Lee He Song listened and nodded silently.
He didn’t mind the challenge.
The stronger they were, then it was better for him to go through his test.
He didn’t waste any ti and Lee He Song stood up from the chair to get out of the small house imdiately.
"You could have bid farewell." The man with the small pouch in his hands grumbled at Lee He Song and glanced at the copper coins with glee.
It didn’t take long for Lee He Song to find out where the gambling den was.
Their rowdy chatter coupled with the sound of dice clanking was apparent in the silence of the night.
When the bouncers standing guard at the entrance of the gambling den saw him, they raised their hands and shouted, "Stop right where you are. Who are you and what brings you here?"
Lee He Song was dressed in black and had his face covered in a face mask.
Any sane person would stop him and ask.
But Lee He Song didn’t answer.
He raised his hand with two copper coins between his fingers.
One of the bouncers frowned and shouted, "If you are here to gamble, that isn’t enough for the entrance fee."
The other bouncers clenched their fists and got ready for action.
Slice.
Two shimrs from the copper coins streaked across the air when they shot at the bouncers in front of Lee He Song.
They struck into the flesh of the bouncers’ necks, and they gave out a scream in pain.
Holding onto the wounds with blood spurting out, the bouncers stared at Lee He Song and shouted, "Intruder! Get him!"
Two of the bouncers ca at Lee He Song from his sides, and he took a step back and dodged their punches and kicks.
He tried to unleash the punch he had learned from Lin Xuan Qi at the two bouncers without using his Qi.
The sa thing happened, and he could sense an electrifying sensation in the surroundings coming into his dantian.
And when the knuckles of his fist connected with the bouncer’s jaw, it sent the bouncer smashing into those thugs that had co out from the gambling den.
The other bouncer closest to him saw what happened, and he froze for a mont.
That mont was enough for Lee He Song to land another fist on the bouncer.
This ti, Lee He Song felt the Five-Elent Qi more concretely.
The bouncer was flung across the air and landed onto so of the thugs, causing all of them to fall onto the ground.
They grumbled and cursed Lee He Song.
All of them, after they got up, drew out their swords and pointed at him.
They expected him to cower in fear and run away seeing how heavily outnumbered he was.
But what they saw was the opposite of what they had expected.
Lee He Song’s eyes narrowed, due to his grin underneath the face mask.
He couldn’t wait to be able to fight and be able to improve his sense of the Five-Elent Qi.
If this was his Dao to be able to do so, then so be it.
Whatever Lin Xuan Qi wasn’t too bothered to do, he could gladly help with it. Like taking care of the thugs in front of him.
"Get him! Or else our poison fang gang would be ridiculed by the other gangs!" One of the thugs shouted and they lunged at him with their swords.
Lee He Song, surprisingly, didn’t get away but lunged at them instead.
His movent was too fast for the thugs to react, leaving only a trail of darkness behind.
Thud.
His fist landed on one of the thugs and it sent him tumbling across the ground.
Whoosh.
Thugs swung their swords at him from all directions, and he leaped away.
With his knee, Lee He Song lunged and smashed it into the jaw of one of the thugs.
The thug’s head lifted and went limp after the impact.
His body slowly slumped to the ground.
Lee He Song could feel more of the Five-Elent Qi but he was frustrated that he could only use the stances he had learned from Lin Xuan Qi so far.
Which was limited to so movents of punches and kicks.
