When breakfast was served, there were new dishes that Lin Xuan Qi had not had before with Auntie Sue.
It must have been the handiwork of the new servants, and he was eager to try them out.
First there were noodles with stewed beef.
And then there were braised pig intestines.
For the soup, there was chicken soup with herbs.
Lin Xuan Qi slurped the noodles, and they were satisfying with a bouncy bite to them.
But they were just the right amount and tender enough to bite through.
As for the stewed beef, the flavor was exemplary with the sauce and the tenderness of the beef done right.
It lted in his mouth after a few bites.
The braised pig intestines were an acquired taste which he liked but he could see Yue Xin hesitate and he teased her by picking up so for her.
Yue Xin frowned at him and took a bite.
Her face cringed imdiately to which he shook his head and said, "You should’ve given the good stuff to your sister."
It was Yue Jie’s turn to frown at him, and she wanted to roll her eyes at him.
"Thanks for being so caring for ." She shook her head then said and picked up the pig intestine from the bowl of Yue Xin.
Lin Xuan Qi took a bite of the pig’s intestine he had in his bowl, and it was fatty and chewy.
The braised sauce complinted it with its saltiness and there wasn’t any odd sll to it.
A hallmark of the preparation work done to it.
Lastly, the chicken soup was warm and comforting.
The aroma from the herbs added a dinsion to the chicken.
When he took a bite of the chicken, the at was still juicy with the taste and sll from the herbs.
Everyone at the dining table was glad when they saw him satisfied with the food, knowing how serious he was with it.
They knew that Lin Xuan Qi didn’t have much of a vice except for the pursuit of good food.
Which was comforting for Xue Cong, Yue Jie, Yue Xin and Liu Shi Shi.
There would be so much headache for them if he was a frequent patron of the brothels like the other young masters.
When Lin Xuan Qi had finished his bowl of noodles, one of the guards ca in and said, "Master Lin, Master Hun seeks a visit."

There was no other reason for Hun Xiong Kun to visit except to tell him good news and negotiate a new deal.

Xue Cong was also thinking the sa on how to take good care of him.

Xue Cong glanced at the chicken soup with herbs and had an idea.

Tea and so snacks were offered to him.

Hun Xiong Kun smiled and nodded happily for Lin Xuan Qi.
It was empty and void of people when he first visited.

He led Lin Xuan Qi to the seat beside him and they sat down.
Hun Xiong Kun didn’t waste ti and said, "Your plans worked.

"The price of the rice stayed pretty much the sa for now at double the price, but I’m afraid it would steadily go down with the sudden influx in supply."

It was getting closer for him to try and create the Five-Elent Qi Concentration Pills.
Xue Cong, Yue Jie, Yue Xin, Liu Shi Shi, Lee He Song and Zhi Yong might be able to start cultivating with it. He thought silently in his mind.
