There were two doors that were next to the altar of the deity by the sides.
Eunuch Xin walked towards the door on the right side of the altar, while the Dark Lord went for the door on the left.
"Hehehe..." He rubbed his hands when he walked through the door, excited and thrilled to be able to explore what lay behind it.
And when he was on the other side, a long and dark corridor welcod him.

Eunuch Xin snapped his fingers and a fireball appeared in front of him.
He gave out a smirk and walked down the corridor.
With the tiny spot of orange light from the fireball, he could see that there wasn’t anything else but him and the darkness.
It went on for more than his patience could afford.
The corridor seed to be endless.
"Co out! Where are you!" Eunuch Xin didn’t have that smirk on him anymore after walking for a few Shi Chen.
He would rather deal with demonic beasts or enemies than face the darkness.
There was, however, no response.
Eunuch Xin grunted and kept walking.
It was then that he saw a small hut made of wood and mud not too far away.
He grinned and leaped towards the small hut.
Thud.
Dust flew into the air when his feet touched onto the ground.
Eunuch Xin landed outside the small hut and it gave him a weird feeling.
The small hut with how it looked and the pigsty that was empty stirred sothing within him.
Everything was barren all around him.
Suddenly, there were so noises coming out from the small hut and he took a peep through the window.
There was a boy standing opposite so n dressed in bright red robes.
And behind the boy was a woman sobbing while holding onto another younger boy and girl in her arms.
The boy standing opposite the n turned his head around and said, "Mother, I will go. It is the only way for you, Er Gou and Jiao Jiao to survive."
His mother couldn’t help herself but sobbed even louder.
All of them were frail and thin, especially for the younger Er Gou and Jiao Jiao.
Their skin hung onto their bones without much flesh in between.
However, it ant nothing to the n in red robes.
The n in red robes took out a pouch and placed it onto a table next to them.
"Here is the paynt, decide now, we don’t have all day for this." The man who led the others licked his lips and said.
The boy clenched his fist, grabbed onto the pouch and handed it over to his mother.
It was then that it hit Eunuch Xin.
The boy looked like him and he could finally recall where he was.
Er Gou and Jiao Jiao were his younger brother and sister.
Everything was exactly the sa as it had happened on the fateful day.
The day he was led into the imperial palace to be castrated and beco a eunuch.
It was the beginning and the end in his life.
"Hehehehe... Hehehehehe..." Eunuch Xin slapped his forehead and gave out his usual sinister laugh.
This was it? This was what the secret realm could co up with?
He had nightmares about this very day and what would happen next after he was taken away by the n when he was younger.
But that was in the past, before he t the Dark Lord.
There was sothing that was bigger than his personal pain and struggles to be pursued.
The Dark Lord had shown him an alternative to how it should be.
Whatever the secret realm was trying to get him to fail didn’t work on him.
Eunuch Xin took out a handful of talismans from his sleeve pocket and he hurled them into the small hut.
"Who are you!" The n inside the small hut turned around and saw the talismans coming at them.
One of them drew out his sword and tried to slash at the talismans.
But he wasn’t fast enough for them.
One of the talismans dodged the blade of his sword and landed on his body.
The other talismans continued on their path and landed on the bodies of the others in the small hut.
"Stop! Why are you doing this?" The young Eunuch Xin was in tears and glanced at the current version of him.
"Xin! Stop! You want to kill your younger brother and sister?" His mother also turned her head and glanced at him, sobbing in tears.
She glanced at him with the loving eyes of a mother, and she tried to carry his brother and sister for him to have a better look at them.
It didn’t work.
Eunuch Xin smirked and activated the talismans.
Boom!
The talismans exploded and blew the bodies of the eunuchs, the younger version of himself and his family apart.
No one was spared.
Limbs and flesh were strewn into the surroundings, painting the walls in crimson.
"Hehehehe..." Eunuch Xin glanced at his handiwork and gave out his sinister laugh.
He glanced at the grueso scene in front of him and waited for a mont.
But nothing happened at first.
When he got impatient again, Eunuch Xin wanted to destroy the small hut.
He directed his Spirit Qi and pulled back his arm, ready to unleash his palm strike at it.
But it wasn’t required.
Darkness slowly encroached from all directions and it engulfed the small hut within a mont.
All of it was gone from his vision.
Eunuch Xin snapped his fingers and a fireball appeared in front of him.
There was sothing on the ground and he took a step forward to see what it was.
He squatted down and saw that it was a rusty key.
Eunuch Xin picked it up and frowned.
There wasn’t any locks anywhere in the surroundings. Not even in the altar.
He glanced around and he was surprised to see that the door that he ca from was right behind him.
Eunuch Xin had an idea what the key was for and he turned around to exit through the door.
