When the inn keeper heard Lin Xuan Qi, he felt a sense of relief and he quickly glanced over at Liu Shao for the decision.
He had been working hard and loyally for the Liu Clan for so many years.
And he hoped that he would be able to stay on in the inn.
It was winter and with how it was in Hong Feng City, he might starve and die out there in the streets if he lost his job in the inn.
Liu Shao frowned and drumd on the table with his fingers while he pondered.
Ten taels of gold wouldn’t an much for him usually, but right now, it was a different situation.
Many of the businesses of the Liu Clan were affected and he needed all the funds he could get to recuperate and rebuild.

"And I can settle the amount only once a month with you, making it easier for both of us." Lin Xuan Qi explained what it ant to Liu Shao.
Liu Shao opened his eyes wide and was glad with what he had heard.
It would help him greatly to make better use of whatever funds he had compared to paying up imdiately like what he had done previously.
"Deal." Liu Shao didn’t need too long to make the decision and raised his teacup at Lin Xuan Qi.
"Thanks." Lin Xuan Qi returned the toast and said with a smile, "I will send the paynt for the inn to you after I get back to the mansion."
Liu Shao nodded his head and said, "I will have the docunts signed and pass them to your n when they do so."
The inn keeper and the waiters were also happy to hear that Liu Shao had agreed to the deal.
"What are you waiting for? Bring out so wine for Liu Shao and our new master." The inn keeper glanced at the waiters and said.
The waiters quickly went back into the kitchen for the wine.
Lin Xuan Qi, impressed with the inn keeper’s initiative, glanced at the inn keeper and said, "You can call Master Lin. What’s your na?"
"They call Old Feng, Master Lin." Old Feng cupped his hands and bowed at Lin Xuan Qi.
It was then that the waiters ca out with a few bottles of wine.
Old Feng grabbed onto one of the bottles and he poured the wine into wine cups for Liu Shao and Lin Xuan Qi.
The waiters quickly did the sa for Lee He Song and the other guards.
"Here’s a toast to Master Lin for taking over and also to Master Liu for all these years..." Old Feng raised the wine cup he had in his hand and toasted with the two of them.
Lin Xuan Qi downed the wine and said, "I will ask my carpenters to co over and fix the damages tomorrow."
"That’s great, I can’t wait for business to get busy again." Old Feng was glad that the new owner was ready to spend on the inn.
But Lin Xuan Qi shook his head at him and said, "I don’t need you to open up the business to anyone in the anti.
"I have a few factories and I need you to prepare the als for the workers there for the winter.
"There aren’t many custors here for now, and since their food supplies aren’t as stable as yours, I would think that it’s better to do so."
Old Feng bowed at him and said, "I shall do so with what we have.
"The food supplies we have should be able to last for the winter."
Thankfully, the weather was cold and the food could be preserved.
If it was sumr instead, where the at and vegetables would rot within a day, Lin Xuan Qi might have a bigger headache on his hands.
And he would only have the rice from the system for the workers.
Lin Xuan Qi went on to brief Old Feng on what he expected before he got back to chat with Liu Shao.

Liu Shao wanted to let Lin Xuan Qi seek assistance from the Sima Family but stopped himself.
This might not be the best ti to do so.
No one knew when the Sima Family could get back to how they were.
Or worse, it might be the case that the Sima Family would not be able to get back up from what had happened.
Other Clans and Families must be eyeing to take over whatever the Sima Family had.
The only thing stopping them so far might only be the Qing Feng Sect.
But even the Qing Feng Sect hadn’t said or done much for the Sima Family lately.
"I can ask around for you if you want, but these Security Escort teams usually work for a sect or clan.
"It might be tough for you to have them working exclusively with you."
Lin Xuan Qi frowned and nodded his head at Liu Shao.
It seed like getting a Security Escort team or maybe cultivators to the Clan might be much more difficult than he had thought previously.
Maybe he would have to think of sothing else for it sohow.
He bid Liu Shao farewell and headed back to the mansion.
It was still a productive day for him with the successful purchase of the inn.
And since the Security Escort team and cultivators to the clan might have to wait, he began to think about other businesses he could expand to.
