Now reading: Chapter 479: Daughters and Sons from Clan Prosperity Starting With My Servant Girls, a Eastern novel by ShinyZebra.

Lin Xuan Qi knew what the older generation were like.

They believed that it was necessary for their daughters to give birth to a son so that their daughters would be able to have a good life in their husbands’ families.

Old Shao and i Jiao must have been feeling the sa thing since Xue Cong hadn’t borne any child for him yet.

Even Liu Ju Zheng might be thinking about the sa thing.

Maybe he should find a ti to talk about it with them. He thought.

It didn’t matter to him whether Xue Cong or any of them were able to bear him a child.

He would treat them the sa as he always did.

When he got to the lab, Zhi Yong was waiting for him outside and he said to Zhi Yong, "Check with Auntie Sue whether the soup is ready.

"If it is, bring it here."

"Yes, Master Lin. go now." Zhi Yong was excited to be helping with the experints again and he quickly headed for the kitchen.

Lin Xuan Qi got into the lab and he thought about how he would have to do it.

First, it would be getting rid of the water in the soup to concentrate it.

Then, next he would have to figure out a way to make it into a solid form that he was so used to from where he ca from.

He glanced at the stove and other equipnt in the lab and thought that he might have to make do with what he had.

"Master Lin, back." Zhi Yong ca back with a cart that had a big pot on top of it.

Steam rose from within the pot and the aroma of the chicken soup filled the air of the lab instantly.

Lin Xuan Qi pointed to the stove and said, "Put the pot over there."

Zhi Yong lifted the pot by the handle with ease and placed it by the side of the stove.

With his cultivation, his strength was many tis more than that of an average adult.

"Do what now, Master Lin?" He glanced at Lin Xuan Qi and asked.

"We do what we always do, boil so of it and filter out the impurities." Lin Xuan Qi shrugged and said.

And that was what they did next.

He boiled the chicken soup, filtered it and let it continue to boil.

Slowly, with the water evaporating from the soup, it began to beco more concentrated.

Lin Xuan Qi placed a tal tray over the fire and said, "Put the mixture onto the tal tray."

He hoped that the heat from the tal tray would be able to heat the mixture and turn it into a dry hardened form.

Zhi Yong nodded his head and did so.

Then, they turned on the heat and waited for the result.

"Master, sll not right." Zhi Yong frowned and pointed at the mixture when he slled a burnt sll in the air.

Lin Xuan Qi sighed and stepped forward to have a look.

And Zhi Yong was right.

The mixture was now a burnt black glob underneath and remained in a concentrated form on top.

The heat from the tal tray wasn’t distributed evenly.

Lin Xuan Qi glanced around and saw the Nine Fold Yin Yang Iron Furnace and that gave him an idea.

He needed an oven for the heat to be evenly distributed.

"Guess we have to make an oven first." Lin Xuan Qi said and he got to work.

He asked Zhi Yong to get so bricks and mud to the lab and he laid the bricks on top of one of the stoves to modify it into an oven.

And with his fire spell, he was able to harden the mud of the oven to make it usable quickly.

Fortunately, there was more of the chicken soup left and they continued with the first stage of the process.

When it got into a concentrated state, he spread the concentrate onto a tal tray and placed the tal tray into the oven.

After which, he started the fire for the oven.

It would take at least two Ke of ti so he and Zhi Yong spent so ti on cultivation while they waited.

Right now, he had around two thousand and five hundred over Five-Elent Stones from the system so he wasn’t too worried about it for now.

There should be enough for the seven of them.

And for Yue Xin and Liu Shi Shi, he might have to help them catch up with the others.

Lin Xuan Qi opened his eyes and stood up from his lotus position when he felt that the ti was up.

He walked over to the oven and opened it.

Zhi Yong also followed behind, watching curiously to see if they had succeeded.

The concentrate was now hardened and he got it out from the oven.

Lin Xuan Qi was satisfied with the result and he placed it by the window to air it.

"We shall co back and find out if we are successful tomorrow."

It was ti for lunch and he was starving.

Zhi Yong followed happily behind him to the dining hall.

Xue Cong and the others were already there and they were happy to see Lin Xuan Qi join them for lunch.

Lin Xuan Qi nodded at them approvingly when he saw them drinking so of the herbal soup that he had instructed the kitchen to make.

Even i Jiao was happy to see Xue Cong doing so.

Her eyes stole a glance at Lin Xuan Qi and she thought that Lin Xuan Qi might be getting impatient with them not bearing a child for him.

She could only pray to the deities for Xue Cong, hoping that Xue Cong would be able to do so soon.

Otherwise, the stories of how the young masters abandoned their wives for the brothels or got more and more concubines occupied her mind.

"I think I have enough." Yue Xin couldn’t take the bitterness of the herbal soup anymore and she placed the bowl down onto the table.

When Lin Xuan Qi saw that there was so of the soup left, he stared at her and she quickly picked up the bowl again.

She didn’t know why he was so fixated on them drinking all this herbal soup.
