Lin Xuan Qi spent the rest of the day tinkering with the food cart, making small adjustnts with Old Shao and his n.
After that, he had dinner and continued with his cultivation throughout the night.
There was also good news for him when he witnessed Lee He Song and Zhi Yong getting to the Qi Concentration Level, Perfected Stage.
His increased allocation of the Five-Elent Stones coupled with the Five-Elent Qi Concentration Pills helped imnsely.
And it would be a bigger headache for him when they got to the Foundation Establishnt Level.
He would need more money by then to have enough of the Spirit Herbs from Lu Ting, for him to co up with the Five-Elent Foundation Establishnt Pills.
After he was done in the lab cultivating, he went over to Yue Jie’s room as scheduled and dual cultivated with her.
It was a long day for him and he rested for the night when he was done.
Next day.
Lin Xuan Qi had breakfast and he went over to the lab imdiately with Zhi Yong.
It was ti for him to check if the chicken soup powder worked.
He checked and saw that the concentrated form of the chicken soup was now hardened.
After he separated the hardened form of the chicken soup from the tal tray, he broke it into pieces and pounded it into powder form.
Zhi Yong looked on with amazent at how the chicken soup had transford from a liquid form to sothing totally different like powder.
Lin Xuan Qi wiped the sweat off his brow when he was done and he continued with the next step of his experint.
Turning the powder back into soup form.
He had a pot of boiling water ready and he put so of the powder into it.
The powder dissolved into the water instantly and the color of the water turned into the light color of chicken broth.
Zhi Yong was even more amazed when he slled the aroma of the chicken soup filling the air.
"Master Lin, soup is sa." He pointed at the pot of soup and said excitedly to Lin Xuan Qi.
Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head and scooped a spoonful of the soup from the pot.
This was it.
If it still tasted good, then he would be able to have the factories produce the chicken soup powder for the franchisees.
He took the soup from the spoon and he frowned.
The taste of the soup wasn’t too far off from what Auntie Sue had made.
But it tasted sowhat bland.
Lin Xuan Qi put more of the chicken soup powder and stirred the soup inside the pot again.
When he scooped up a spoonful of the soup to try, it tasted good this ti.
All he had to do next was to figure out the ratio between the chicken soup powder and water, to get the taste that he wanted.
"Here, try it." Lin Xuan Qi gestured for Zhi Yong to try out the soup and Zhi Yong did so.
"Master Lin! Soup nice!" He didn’t know what had gone on for the chicken soup to beco a powder form and turn back into chicken soup again.
It was fascinating to him.
"Glad you liked it." Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head and continued to take down notes on how much of the chicken powder he had put in compared to how much water there was in the pot.
And when he was done, he went over to the kitchen to seek help from Auntie Sue.
Auntie Sue helped with all his queries on how to cook the dishes.
Every detail like how long to cook the rice noodles, at and vegetables before taking them out was considered.
No detail was too minute for him to gloss over.
Lin Xuan Qi also went on to ask about the sauce she used for the rice cake and the ingredients for the spring rolls.
He was happy to find out that the sauce could also be made centrally with the proportions of the different ingredients given by Auntie Sue.
As for the spring rolls, there wasn’t much to them except for having fresh ingredients and fish sauce.
The fish sauce was one of the most important and it got Lin Xuan Qi thinking once more.
But he quickly shook his head and stopped himself.
He was already having his hands full.
It was best for him to not do anything else until he had stabilized everything else.
Lin Xuan Qi already had the rice noodles franchise in progress and there was also the expansion to Gui Feng City coming up soon.
He mustn’t be too greedy and take on more than he could chew.
If only his son could quickly grow up and help with everything, he thought.
That got him thinking about Yue Xin and he went over to her room to accompany her when he was done.
When Yue Xin saw him, she was happy to see him spending ti with her.
Especially after she had gone through the ’talk’ from Yue Jie about being more womanly and how she had to think about being a mother soon.
It was sothing that had never crossed her mind but she did start to think about it after what Yue Jie had told her.
Things would be very different when one of them had kids and even if Lin Xuan Qi didn’t show it or request them to do so, there would be many gossips going around if they couldn’t bear him any child.
That was how the Da Qian Dynasty treated won.
Even when you were the empress, you wouldn’t be able to escape from it.
Yue Xin now knew why it was important for Lin Xuan Qi to schedule his ti with them for the week.
If he wasn’t fair with his ti with them, who would be confident enough to say that they wouldn’t fight with each other because of it.
After all, bearing a child for the Lin Clan was serious business compared to all the other matters.
