"However, I’m afraid that Su Chen and Wu Tong didn’t give up and they are planning sothing more sinister."

Lin Xuan Qi frowned at the news.

These two are even more persistent than a simp going after his idol.

He knew that he had to do sothing.

"Would it be advisable for to seek help from the magistrate?" Lin Xuan Qi asked.

Lee He Song gave out a sigh and shook his head.

"The magistrate isn’t too clean from what I know. He has a reputation as a bootlicker for the rich clans in Hong Feng City."

Even though he had expected it, Lin Xuan Qi was still disappointed in the corrupt ways of how they worked.

So many dynasties had fallen due to this exact reason.

Having no other choice, Lin Xuan Qi could only try and keep everyone safe for the ti being.

He glanced at Lee He Song and said, "Be on high alert for the next few days.

"I would need you and Liu Shi Shi to help keep an eye on everyone.

"Ask the others not to step out of the mansion unnecessarily."

Lee He Song nodded and went on his way to disseminate the instructions.

All he could think of now was getting Sima Long to help get Su Chen and Wu Tong off his back.

But for him to get Sima Long to do so, he needed to have the soap as leverage.

"Master Lin, we have done as you have instructed."

Xue Cong, Yue Jie, Yue Xin and Zhi Yong ca into the main hall and updated him on the progress.

His face brightened up as it was finally good news for him.

"Zhi Yong, help get the stuff into the lab." Lin Xuan Qi stood up and said.

"Yes, Master Lin. , carry." Zhi Yong proceeded to follow Lin Xuan Qi’s instructions, and he carried the jasmine flowers, oil from the lard and water with the ashes into the lab.

Inside the lab, Lin Xuan Qi started to filter the water mixed with the ashes from the crop stalk.

This ti, with the increased quantity, the oil from the lard and water with the ashes were enough to be stored in a wooden barrel respectively.

Although he had kept fit by practicing his martial arts, he could still feel the strain on his body.

It was indeed hard labor.

He would certainly need to have more people if he wanted to scale this up.

"Huh."

When he was done, he wiped off the sweat from his head and proceeded to stir the filtered water while adding in the clam powder.

And after that was done, he sat down and took a rest.

There was nothing more that he could do except letting it sit overnight for the sedints to settle to the bottom.

...

"Zhi Yong, stand on guard and do not let anyone co inside."

After he was well rested, Lin Xuan Qi stood up and said.

"Yes, Master Lin." Zhi Yong nodded and stood at the entrance with his arms crossed.

Lin Xuan Qi patted him on his back and left for the main hall.

It was ti for him to shine.

"Where is everyone?" He frowned when he saw the main hall empty.

"There’s no use hiding. It’s ti for studies." Lin Xuan Qi shouted.

"Master Lin..." Xue Cong ca into the main hall stamring.

Beside her was her brother, Ah Di.

And following closely behind were Yue Jie and Yue Xin.

Liu Shi Shi stood with her arms crossed in front of her chest at the back of them all.

At least soone listened to him, keeping a close eye on them, Lin Xuan Qi thought.

"Now, don’t try to run away. Learning is very important."

Lin Xuan Qi sat down at his seat and picked up the book that he had just written.

He waved at them and said, "Co, sit around ."

Xue Cong, Ah Di, Yue Jie and Yue Xin nodded and did what they were told.

Among them, Xue Cong and Yue Xin frowned at the prospect of trying to learn math again.

Ah Di didn’t know what was about to co and he was in fact eager at the chance of being educated.

Yue Jie was relaxed in comparison as she had learned much of it before.

Surprisingly, Liu Shi Shi also ca near to him, and she gave him a smirk.

"Let’s see how your so-called teaching material can do."

Lin Xuan Qi shrugged at her and proceeded to open the page.

"See this. This is the plus symbol. And here one plus one equals two."

All of them had never seen sothing like it and they listened closely.

Even Liu Shi Shi also listened to what he said attentively.

It was as Lin Xuan Qi had said before.

A totally different way of presenting information.

...

"I get it now!" Xue Cong exclaid excitedly when she finally figured out how the multiplication worked.

"Really? What is nine multiplied by eight?" Lin Xuan Qi asked.

She began to mumble to herself and used her fingers to help her count.

Ah Di had gotten the answer way before her, but he kept quiet.

His sister had always doted on him, and he wasn’t about to make her look bad in front of the others.

He was not familiar with Yue Jie and Yue Xin yet, so he didn’t treat them as soone close for now.

"It’s seventy-two!" Xue Cong raised her hand and shouted out the answer excitedly.

"That is indeed correct." Lin Xuan Qi nodded with satisfaction, and he glanced over at Liu Shi Shi.

Liu Shi Shi was by now impressed with what she had witnessed.

The strange symbols that he used helped the understanding of the subject.

She had nothing more to say and all that she had in her mind was to show the world how it should be done.

"I’m impressed, Master Lin. It will be great if you..." Liu Shi Shi said.

"Please don’t. I’m too busy right now with my soap experint." Lin Xuan Qi stopped her before she could finish her sentence.
