Her eyes were half-closed when she heard loud bangs on the wooden gates.
Soone was trying to get in and in the most obnoxious way.
She frowned and called out to Xue Cong, Yue Jie and Yue Xin, "Stay in the main hall."
After the briefing from Lin Xuan Qi, she figured that whoever it was at the gate wasn’t soone friendly.
Xue Cong, Yue Jie and Yue Xin glanced at her with a worried look.
The banging didn’t stop and got louder and louder.
Liu Shi Shi stood up and walked towards the gate with her hand on her belt.
"Scram, before you get hurt," she shouted at the gate.
A voice bood outside the gate and said, "I think you misunderstood.
"I’m here to apologize on behalf of my friends Su Chen and Wu Tong for being rude to your master previously."
"And you are?" she said and glanced back.
Xue Cong, Yue Jie and Yue Xin were looking at her from afar, holding a stick in their hands.
She waved at them, gesturing for them to stay put.
"I’m one of the disciples of Lee Zhen Ren, Zhu Di.
"I heard my friends were too anxious trying to get rice supplies for my master’s birthday celebration, and I feel that I have a responsibility to settle it.
"My master would be sad if he knew about the misunderstanding that happened all because Su Chen and Wu Tong are trying their best for his birthday celebration."
Zhu Di, who was the help that Su Chen and Wu Tong had gotten to ss up Lin Xuan Qi.
Liu Shi Shi frowned and cursed at Zhu Di.
How nice of him to try and ’settle’ things for his master.
He was just using his master’s na to make it known to her that it was futile for her to go against him.
And all the pleasantries about Su Chen and Wu Tong were just blasphemy.
Worst of all was that she might not be able to hold him off.

Liu Shi Shi frowned but she knew it was best to get him away from the mansion.
After a mont of consideration, she did what she thought was the best.
She shouted at the wooden gates, "My master is away at the mont, co back another ti."
When Zhu Di heard her, he gave out a loud roar in anger and shouted, "How dare you reject my goodwill ti and again! You shall pay for this."
Before she could react, figures leaped through the wall and landed inside the mansion.
Among them, Zhu Di, with a thick bushy beard, stood in the middle with his arms crossed.
There were ten other n with him in total.
Each of them had weapons on them except for Zhu Di.
His head held high, and he looked at Liu Shi Shi with a look of disdain.
"It’s all on you for angering ! And I think I should teach you a lesson so that you can survive in this cold and cruel world," Zhu Di shouted at Liu Shi Shi.
On his order, so of the n standing beside him smirked and lunged towards Liu Shi Shi.
The rest of the n stood and watched along as if it was entertainnt for them.

One of the n swiped the axe he had in his hand at Liu Shi Shi.
But Liu Shi Shi took a step back and a shimr of light flashed by the face of the man.
She drew out her sword and slashed it at the man’s wrist.
"Argh!" The man gave out a cry in pain and the axe dropped to the ground.
Liu Shi Shi saw what happened and her morale got better.
These n weren’t cultivators.
She might have a chance to hold them off long enough.
As she was in her thoughts, she felt a gust of wind coming at her from the side.
She took two steps back and thrust her sword forward as she did so.
The tip of the sword ca at the man who was trying to attack her from the side.
It took him by surprise, and the tip of the sword plunged into the man’s arm.

Blood spurted out from the wound and the man gave out a loud cry.
Two other n seeing what happened ca to his rescue.
They lunged at Liu Shi Shi from her left and right side.
