With a new asset to the Empire, Marcus began the creation of his Secret Services. For that, he brought Shamna, Marrybell, her Knights, C.C. and his G-Force to Solomon's Base.
"As many of you know, Maintaining Peace is not the easiest work." The Emperor took them to his Old Workshop, where the most notable item in the workshop was the floating skull of a child with Geass Code.
'That's Code Bearer's skull!' Shamna was a bit worried to see sothing like this. Is this what happened to V.V.? How!?
"That is why I am creating Anaheim Secret Police, or ASP. This force will be answering directly to , and its only job is to keep peace by any ans necessary."
"So we have finally reached this point," C.C. comnted as she looked at Shamna.
"I wasn't expecting you to be here."
The blonde looked back at C.C. It would seem he was right on the spot to say that he would make his version of Geass Order.
"I could say the sa thing. To think that both Code Bearers are here." The Priestess was impressed as she didn't expect to see both of them here.
"Isn't it obvious? He is the Emperor of the World." The Witch rolled her eyes.
"True, then I can begin to create the Order for you." The blonde said with a smile.
"What Order? A new Knight order?" Suzaku asked as he was a bit concerned when he saw C.C. here, and they are next to that skull. It feels Geass-related.
"Not quite." Marcus got their attention.
"I promised a considerable amount of freedom to the citizens of the world. They can all practise whatever they want and believe in whatever they want. But such a great amount of freedom can lead to many bad things.
Like, for example…"
He showed them chat ssages; it was an anti-Emperor movent, already…
"T-To think that there are people who already want to depose you," Jeremiah exclaid with disbelief before it switched to anger.
"Indeed. That is why the Secret Police is necessary. A force that will move in and capture such elents."
"...Then… you will use Gundams for this?" Suzaku asked, confused. Those chs are too big for this!
"Not quite." Marcus motioned to the side, and a hologram appeared showing a line-up of… Knightmares!
"...Lancelot… you rebuild it!?" Suzaku gawked at his old machine.
"Not just rebuild but modernise with the latest technology. These machines are anti-personnel. ant to capture or remove people.
But this is not all, because there are tis when Knightmares are too big as well. That is why I will have a force of Geass Users."
"!!!"
The knights looked at C.C. and this new woman.
"That is right, you want them to be trained in Zilkhstan, yes?" The blonde woman smiled as she looked at everyone.
"Indeed, the Headquarters of my A.S.P. will be in Zilkhstan's Special Administrative Zone.
"Umm, why are we still calling ourselves Anaheim? I thought we were now an Empire…" Oldrin was confused as she raised the question.
"Because the Holy Byzantine Empire is a public image of us. Do you realise that only certain people have access to KK-Units? There is a huge gap between Setanta and those specific technologies? From the very beginning, I developed with intentions to keep certain things apart." Marcus explained to Marrybell's Knight.
"That is why you made leader of that committee." Marrybell nodded; she realised where this was going.
"You shall continue to oversee that, but at the sa ti, you will be part of A.S.P. to deploy forces as quickly as possible in case so nutcase is trying to make explosives or sothing worse." The Emperor recalled Nina… that girl was literally making nukes at school!
In this world, things like these are not 'maybe' but a possibility!
"As you wish, Your Majesty, I shall do that." Marrybell slightly bowed to him.
"This is where Glinda Knights co to play." He looked at them.
"This force will transform into a proper Police Force, think of Anti-Terrorist Police that will deploy when the Police can't handle."
Oldrin, who heard that, imdiately got a bit concerned!
"W-Wait, does that an that we will be separated from Princess Marrybell?" The blonde asked with a bit of worry.
"Marrybell's talents can be used in far more important positions than simple Knight duties or Policing sothing."
The brown haired Princess blushed a bit as she was happy to hear Marcus acknowledge her like that.
"T-Then I desire to follow my Princess. I am her Knight! Please, Your Majesty!" The blonde asked with a hopeful tone as she slightly bowed to him.
"...If this is what you want." He then looked at the rest of the Glinda Knights.
"Glinda Knights will organise with my G-Force." Marcus's gaze swept the pilots of his Force and Marrybell's Knights.
"This way, you five will have so action instead of just wasting away waiting for the next conflict." The Emperor explained to them.
"Understood, Your Majesty."
So of them didn't like the arrangent, but at the very least, Glinda's knights were not dissolved.
"Hold it! What about us!" Kallen and Jeanne inserted themselves into the eting as the pair of them walked over.
The Crimson-Haired girl crossed her arms as she looked at her future husband.
"Us…, Jeanne, Leila, Milly, Euphemia…" She pointed at C.C as well." And the Witch, we don't have a specific military rank in the Empire.
I think it's about ti we have sothing like this because it can't stay ambiguous." Kallen complained as she indeed wondered where she was in the whole military ladder thing.
"I guess, this is the perfect ti." With a nod, he made a motion, and he pulled up a pyramid on a holographic screen.
"You and most of my retinue are here." He showed them A.S.P. The whole A.S.P. is split up into layers.
"There are Executives, which you are, and then there are Commanders. Now, Executives can take control of armies and police forces in the area."
"Does that make Executives higher than Generals?" Marrybell asked, very curious about this whole structure, as from the looks of it, half of the A.S.P. leaders will be technically superior to military leaders.
"Yes, because you are there on my behalf." He nodded at her question.
"Though Leaders will have to work with generals, I need this to he flexible and not to offend the military branch of my Empire." Marcus could only imagine Cornelia's expression when soone not him was superior to her.
But then again, she is a military lady, not that flexible in certain situations.
"Now here are your awaited rankings."
Everyone looked at the hologram screen.
Marrybell perked up, she smiled seeing her being an Executive, sa with Jeremiah, his knight holds not only a high position, but at the sa ti, he is part of the Anti-Terrorism Police. Making him a double leader.
"As you can see, Glinda Knights Jeremiah is your Commanding Officer, alongside the rest of G-Force; they will be your superiors in Anti-Terrorism operations."
"...That is good. We were originally created to fight Terrorism." One of them nodded. This was better than they expected, since they were created by Marrybell and Oldrin just for that.
Both the Princess and Oldrin were happy with this developnt.
"Nice!" Kallen smiled, seeing her that high in the Pyramid!
"What? You expected it to be lower? Even when you pilot a KK-Unit?" Marcus rolled his eyes, seeing how relieved she was.
"No…I an…" For a second, she wondered why she was worried.
'I guess… stress and worry that I am not at THAT point.'
The Emperor didn't realise yet, but his Crimson Pilot was feeling the pressure as Leila and Anna were pregnant with his child.
"My only perk is piloting…"
"You an you are the greatest pilot in the world?" He snorted.
His reply caused her to puff for a bit!
"Whatever!"
"Regardless. Now for the next part." Marcus switched the the of conversation.
He got everyone's attention.
"As you are part of my A.S.P., there is one gift that I can do that will allow you to help keep the peace even more."
He motioned with his hand as an item rose from the ground. It was a pedestal.
"This is Geass Granting Pedestal."
"Did you just say… Geass Granting?" Shamna exclaid in disbelief.
"That is right. I have developed a software that can cause Geass Energy to manifest a Geass in a person." With a serious nod, he explained to her.
"As expected. You can't stay still and just have to make such a crazy piece of technology." C.C. shook her head. In the end, he was able to walk around her, her only defence. Now what could she offer?
With Geass, she was able to have so importance in his life. But now? It made the green-haired witch ponder on what else she could do, as if this continues, she will be forgotten!
"It was coming long ago, C.C., why should I stall?" He asked with raised eyebrows, wondering what she ant.
"...I suppose."
"Hmph. It would seem my old Director has no idea how to process that?" Shamna smirked at the witch.
"Yes, I suppose you are right. Unlike you, I don't have a Kingdom to tap into." C.C. nonchalantly comnted, causing both of them to stare at each other.
The rest of them wondered what their connection was and why such competitiveness.
"Enough, you two. You two have your Geass, so you don't need to bother about this."
"I do have failed Code. Is there a way to fix that?" Shamna asked him as she looked at the floating skull.
"I do. But we can discuss that after all of the business is done."
"Fufufu, of course, Your Majesty." The Priestess bowed as she took a couple of steps back.
"May I start?" Marrybell took a step forward, ready to inherit this power. The reason why she wants these eyes is that she will be able to help her Emperor even more.
She is, after all, the Zealous one.
"By all ans." He motioned for her to start the process.
The brown haired Princess walked over and placed her hand on the pedestal, and at that mont, the Code on the Skull glowed.
Marrybell stood still for a second before she touched one of her eyes.
'T-This is it… I can feel this power!'
"Princess?" Oldrin looked worried for a second.
"Y-Yes? I am fine." The girl shook her head as she looked at her knight and then at her Emperor.
"...My Emperor… I can command people." She said while touching her eye.
"Is that so? Then your power will be useful in your current position." Marcus smiled at her as he was expecting that. Now he wonders if it's the sa Geass he knows or if she got a gentler version because she experienced fewer bad things this ti around.
"Yes! I won't disappoint you." The girl showed him a dead serious tone. This girl was ready to slaughter just tell where.
Such expression unnerved Oldrin, who was already worried for her Princess, but now it's getting worse.
She looked at her Emperor. The Knight needs to speak with him about her Princess.
"Who is next?"
"! It's about ti I get this power!" Kallen strolled over and placed her hand on the pedestal, and the code on the skull glowed.
Kallen stood still for a bit as she saw things… the last thing she saw was a Jupiter-like planet in a strange place.
"Well? I am interested in whether it is going to be similar to Cornelia's." Marcus exclaid as he was interested in what his Crimson Queen got.
"...In a way…" She turned around and looked at him with her Geass eye.
"It does help in a fight." She smiled a bit, but then she dismissed her eye.
"Oh?" He waited for her to explain.
"I suppose… it shows who my enemy is." She looked at him for a bit longer; there was a strange smile on her lips.
"Shows you, your enemies?" Marcus looked curious. Now that's an interesting eye power, but why like that?
Is it because of the current situation? Not knowing who could be her enemy.
The girl stiffly nodded at him.
