Marcus deadpanned as he looked at Lockon unloading an entire ammo cartridge into Ali al-Saachez.
After a couple of monts of watching the body tumble and collapse on the ground, he needed to comnt.
"...Did you check? He is dead, right?" The Emperor sarcastically asked.
"Just to make sure." The sarcasm was ignored as the Gundam pilot began to reload.
The sniper finished reloading in an extrely slow manner before continuing to shoot.
'The amount of things I do to get that talent.'
As this continued, the Holy Emperor began to think of alternatives. Talent is good, like one of the most important things in running an Empire.
But the amount of pandering he is doing to people to collect it.

He started to think about man-made talent.
'Gundam Seed… right, I have another reality that can do the research for .'
"I do have to thank you for doing this for ." Lockon got him back from his thoughts after making tens of holes in Ali al-Saachez's body.
"You do know that he had a list of jobs that he needed to do for ." Marcus sighed as he made a motion with his finger for the cleanup crew to fix this bloody ss.
"I can do those for you." The brown-haired man smirked confidently.
"That is a good point." The Emperor stroked his chin, he could use this guy, he is as good, if not better than the rc.
"While Dynas is not ready, besides, Dynas is a well-known Gundam; Celestial Being is done, so we can't let you use it," Marcus explained the current situation.
"I will have to use his machine?" The Sniper said with a frown as he watched cleaners mop up the bloodstains.
"Nesis Gundam is made for interstellar travel. Unlike your old machine, it can leave and re-enter the atmosphere on its own." Marcus explained as he watched the room beco spotless once more.
"...That is impressive. What kind of thrust does it have?" The Emperor has intrigued him with that information.
"You will see."

The pair walked to the secondary hangar.
Lockon's eyes landed on the machine.
"...It looks like Celestial Being's Gundam…"
"It's based on Celestial Being's data. However, we used our Empire's technology; besides, now we have 5 proper GN reactors, I can switch to one of those." Marcus smiled as he could get proper data from this. He doesn't quite trust how Celestial Being collects its data. This Gundam has Legion OS.
"...Will it switch the colour of the machine? Red is not my colour."
Marcus deadpanned when he heard that.
"...That can be arranged."
"Wonderful, then what do you want to do?" With machine colours out of the way, the Sniper asked Marcus.
"I need you to collect Celestial Being's stashes; we can't allow them to fall to another party. Especially now, when the takeover is fresh, I am consolidating my power; there can't be any surprises, that is where you and Nesis co play.

From what Chall said, there are spare parts for 3rd generation Gundams, we can use those in repairs."
"Easy enough." Lockon nodded. This sounded like delivery missions.
"And there is a factory ship that we can acquire as well. I can use that data to build my version of it in my reality."
"...factory ship? Is this where Gundams were built?" Lockon looked interested in that.
"No, it's where Ptolemaios was built. The Gundams were built in Lagrange 3; there is a colony nad Krung Thep. From what I understand, it was most likely designed and put in place by Aeolia Schenberg himself."
"...Damn…"
"Indeed, stick around for longer, and we recover Veda as well."
"...I still wonder how you hacked it without even touching the computer."
"Interested? I can show it to you at so point. We still need to deal with aliens, the old man was talking about."
"The dialogues to co? Isn't it in the distant future?" The Sniper frowned. He was a bit concerned to hear that!
Marcus pondered on that, the most likely reason the living tal arrived here so early was that Setsuna was flexing his brain waves.
"Not sure. From what I understand, they most likely will be attracted to Quantum Brainwaves and Innovators. A higher form of energy it could attract… beings.
That is why we should be cautious with the whole thing.

After that, the pair stood there and watched the Nesis Gundam get a proper GN Drive installed and received a new paint job.
Midway, they got company as Setsuna ended up practically living in the hangar.
"Lockon… are you going to work for him?" The Exia's pilot can't quite understand what he is seeing before him. Not even a day has passed, and this has happened!
"I will. This is for the best, Setsuna." The brown-haired Gundam pilot replied as he checked out his new pilot uniform. He got an Imperial makeover.
"..."
There was not much that the close-quarter mobile suit pilot could say to that. He is not a communications guy anyway; instead, he looked at a white-and-dark-green mobile suit with bat-like wings made from so sort of parts…
The most obvious conclusion is that these parts co off and operate separately.
"Not bad, right? Those wings are what we call the Zabanya system, based on my wife's Andraste Gundam's funnels.
We went with this because I assud that you guys would get your ass whopped in the Taklamakan desert, and you would need help.
But then again, you pulled out your extra boosters and whooped our ass instead. So because of that, my Nesis Gundam gathered dust in the hangar." Marcus explained why this Gundam was here gathering dust.
Not that Setsuna said a thing, he was just looking at it.
"Each of these Gundams has a certain aura to it. They are similar to Celestial Being…but different."
When Marcus heard that, he smirked.
'Yes, you are definitely the main Character of this world.'
"It's arrogance. Because Nesis was built with power in mind, it was supposed to rein you all in after things got south.
But then THAT happened, and I decided to do things in person."
Setsuna looked at Marcus for a second before he turned around and walked away.
"I can tell. He is very annoyed that you took his Exia away." Lockon comnted after watching them interact.
"I can tell that as well. But that's the thing, what is given can be taken back, that is why it's better if you build things yourself."
"...Can't that be taken away as well?" The sniper said with a small frown.
"No, because you could have made it self-destruct the mont soone tries to take it away. That's the difference when you build it, and soone else does it for you.
I made my Gundams listen to regardless who is the pilot, because in the end of the day, I made them and I am letting you guys use them, I can taken them away just as easily." He explained with a smirk, making Lockon's lips twitch, the guy realised what this ant.
"See, now you understand. Being a good pilot is good and all, but being a good pilot and the creator of your machine, now that's a different beast altogether." With that said, Marcus left Lockon to his own devices; he has many things to do, among them consolidating his rule in this world and reading up on all the stuff he got from Celestial Being, among them the twin drive system.
There is so much to do that there is no ti to look at his mobile suits for hours.

A bit later, Marcus needed to return to Union territory; he had things to do.
One of the first things he needed was reforms, a pile of them. Normally, changing laws can take ages, but he has people in place to consolidate power to himself and his new governnt.
Though before he could do anything, he had guests.
"Commander, with all due respect, what the hell were those gundams!?" Graham was the most spooked as he had never seen anything move like that.
After Billy saw those videos, he was spooked as well. It was more advanced than Gundams, and they could literally float without propulsion.
It was already considered terrifying, but the mont they caught up, they had GN tech, and more terrifying beings appeared from the looks of it.
"Here."
Marcus fished out a thumb drive and leisurely threw it at them.
"Read and catch up, and I will explain everything after you do. Because it can take hours to do it."
The Commander already learned that lesson with Celestial Being. He spent hours explaining to them, so instead he prepared a 'tutorial'. Let them work for intel!
"...Is there everything in this drive?" Billy looked at what Graham was holding.
"Yes, everything you need to know."
"Alright. We will return to you as soon as we can."
As the pair left, he had more issues. But, from the looks of it, The Iron Lady wants to audit him as he saw the emails in his new account as Custodian.
Which can be troubleso, except for the fact that he was ready for sothing like this.
'Won… they can be so troubleso.'
Marcus sighed. He could deal with her or leave her be. That woman won't stop the mont she slls sothing fishy.
The Disguised Emperor decided to deal with her now.
"Send soone to fetch Colonel Mannequin."
"Understood, one mont, General Commander."
Marcus leaned into his swirly chair as he turned around and took his Katana that was resting on a shelf. He took it and inspected the blade.
It was in pristine condition. Regardless, he took a cloth and decided to wipe it. That kind of stuff helps him to relax.
One would think he is happy to have another Earth, but this is just more work.
As he was cleaning the weapon, soone knocked on the door.
"It's Kati Mannequin, sir. You wished to see ?" Marcus could hear her voice from behind the doors.
"Yes, co in."
As the doors opened, the woman saw the Disguised Emperor cleaning the weapon behind the table, he looked groosed into it.
"I spend hours trying to persuade talent to join , pandering to their silly requests, from allowing them to repaint their chs to weapon choices, then I have to draw up new legislation to allow the rest of the world to join my new world order.
And then I have you trying to waste my ti with UN council check-ups. Did you know that they simply forwarded that request to to deal with it?" He said everything without even looking at her.
"..."
What she heard was crazy stuff! They ignored her request and simply sent it to him!? What the fuck!? To whom does he answer then!?
"Well?"
"...The Peacekeeping force… to whom does it answer?" She asked in disbelief.
"To , of course. Who else? I am Custodian of Peace." He finished cleaning before looking at her.
"On the other hand, I gave you 3 Gundams and 30 GN-X from my private collection, which you ended up breaking for . You do realise that they are one-ti collectables that don't exist anywhere else in the world?"
"..." Her expression told him all he needed to know.
"What? Anaheim IS a private company, Anti-Gundam Force that removed Alejandro Corner was mine, funded by , so all that was acquired in his manor and warehouses ended up as my property."
"...You… were playing with the world like it was so toy." The woman concluded that the guy was a galomaniac.
"That tends to happen when you know how to wield the law. Sadly for you, Kati, you learned that too late." Marcus shook his head.
"Since you wanted to raise suspicion around …" Marcus's eyes glowed red as he ended up using his old man's Geass.
He only needed to make a couple of changes to the lady. Nothing major.
A pair of red rings appeared around her eyes; they glowed before settling down. The mory alteration was done.
"Will that be all, Commander?"
The woman thought she had given him a report on the situation at this mont.
"Yes, return to your post."
As she did that, Marcus checked his console. He wiped all of the data regarding Kati's suspicion; Legion even found that she had made so copies of it.
'Damn these two Forecasters, they are an annoying bunch.'
