Christina looked surprised to see the duo in the kitchen. The Emperor was ticulously teaching his son how to make homade chips, and it was cute to watch.
"Leila?"
Wang Liu i looked surprised to see the blonde in the kitchen, who was trying to help. It was awkward to watch.
"Oh, Wang Liu i. You living here as well?" The blonde wasn't surprised to see her.
"Yes."
The Heiress nodded, but then the Empress walked over and asked her.
"If you are living here, then how did you allow Euphemia to do all that?" The blonde asked in a whispering tone.
"I was drunk and wasted, after I realised what was going on, Marcus already made Euphemia his fiancée." Wang Liu i replied.
"After that, there was no point in doing anything." The Heiress was not stupid enough to get in the way of a cute face that can hire hitn with a friendly smile.
"...*Sigh*"
At the end of the day, Leila accepted the inevitable. Euphemia and Marybell will end up as his wives. But this was good. She is going to be greedy as well.
The pinkette is not the only one that can be cute. Marcus literally kidnapped her from a battlefield. That ans it was a crush the mont he saw her.
"Yes, I know. Though she has been busy with Marcus, where she is getting all that stamina."
"..."
Leila didn't like the sound of that!
"You an…"
"Daily…several tis per day." Wang Liu i whispered to the blonde. The Empress grimaced.
Yep, it was just as the Empress had imagined. She experienced THAT years ago when Anna beca pregnant, and she was jealous. Marcus made sure she was no longer jealous.
It was a lesson learned, in her opinion.
"I see… well, I hope she is ready for what is to co afterwards," Leila comnted as she looked away.
"...And that is?"
The Heiress was a bit clueless.
"Let's just say that so won are not ant to be mothers."
"..."
"So had it better, others… well, they just want to die." The blonde recalled her experience.
"...I see… I did hear that such a thing is real." Wang Liu i looked surprised; it would seem the blonde's experience with pregnancy before her was not the best.
"Oh, it is. Believe , I experience that." The blonde grimaced as she had flashbacks, however…
'Yet…'
Her body desires a familiar intimacy with her husband.
"..." The Heiress nodded in acknowledgent. She will keep that in mind. For now, the girls' trio let the family trio work on their chips.
Around good hours, the pair, father and son, had the chips. They went to the main living room, where the Emperor turned on a massive projector.
It was a movie night, the blinds automatically closed the windows, and Legion turned on the movie they were talking about. Marcus didn't even need to tell the AI.
As his Legion simply uploaded the movie from the Emperor's private movie collection, which he always brings with him.
Soon enough, the sounds of the movie brought out the curious trio. Though Euphemia ignored the action as she was sulking in her room.
"Umm… movies?" Christina comnted.
"Looks like it." The Heiress replied as she walked over, wondering what they were watching.
"...You know… he is not that different from normal people," Feldt comnted as well. She noticed over the weeks that she was in this house that Marcus Anaheim was just a guy, a very driven and reckless guy, but still a guy who gets excited the mont he sees a mobile suit.
And then she saw how he acts around his son. Well, it basically confird to her that there was nothing 'Evil' about him; well, it was her first impression, after all, he waged war against Celestial Being.
So, in a sense, he was her enemy, and people brand their enemies as evil; that way, it becos easier to deal with such opposition, but now… well, she saw the other side, and it was hard to see the guy as an enemy.
"Of course." Christina rolled her eyes. Sotis Feldt can be so slow!
The pinkette sighed when she saw the reaction from the brown-haired girl. She wasn't as flippant as the hacker girl!
"Anyway, let's see what kind of movie it is."
The pair joined Wang Liu i.
Though they didn't need to wait for long, as they saw huge chs brawling with big monsters.
"Of course… Kaiju vs robots." Christina deadpanned as she saw the blonde boy bounce around the mont the fighting started.
"...hehe…" Feldt laughed nervously, though she paid a bit too much attention, impressed by how this movie demonstrated the scale of the robots and monsters.
Eventually, evening arrived, and the credits began to roll.
"...what a waste."
Marcus comnted, and his son nodded.
"You've been saying that every ti." Leila, who was sitting on Marcus's lap, comnted with a drool tone. These two have been constantly criticising the movie for blowing up the robot to close the portal.
"And we will continue, right son."
"Yes! Dad! You need to issue a decree to make a continuation!"
"Troy, that's abuse of power." The Emperor sharply replied, but then he grinned like a devil. Leila didn't see the grin, so she nodded. She was happy to hear that her husband can be serious even in situations related to his robot genre.
"But you are right! We need continuation."
"Mark!" The blonde smacked him on the top of his head with annoyance. What is he teaching his son!
"What? This is a holy movie, it's inspirational!" He complained to her.
"No Imperial degrees on damn movies!" The Empress narrowed her eyes at him.
"But mom! We need to see more Jeagers!" Trajan complained as well.
"Then invest! Make money and invest in the movie industry!" Leila explained in a sharp tone what to do!
"You are right! Son! We are going to buy the majority of the stock in the studio!" Marcus was getting pumped up.

"..."
The trio of girls watched the father-son pair, ready to abuse Imperial power for more blockbusters; it was… silly, to say the least.
Thankfully, the Empress was the voice of reason in this situation.
'It was Milly she would most likely play along.' Christina thought to herself.
"Anyway, it was fun, now let's make so normal food, I am starving." Marcus moved his wife away and got up, but this is where Leila stopped him.
"...I was wondering…"
"Umm?"
"Why do you have contact lenses?" Leila comnted as she brought her face close to his.
"Oh…"
"Is your Geass out of control? It shouldn't be the case." The blonde pondered out loud.
"Oh, that, I am an Innovator now. The GN particles are mutagenic; they evolve humans." As the Emperor said, he pulled out a case and opened it.
The case was for the contact lenses, as the next mont, he removed his purple eye lenses.
*Gasp*
"So cool, Dad!" Trajan was the first one to react.
"..."
*Sigh*
"I suppose this is what you wanted since founding your Empire? To evolve humanity?" By this point, Leila was not surprised or shocked by what he did.
In fact, she would be shocked if he didn't do this to himself.
"Indeed, a stronger immune system, even stronger adaptability, quantum brainwaves, I can interface with certain machines now with my mind.
And many other perks."
The Empress looked at him with wide eyes. The list was impressive, and he didn't even na all of the perks!
"..."
"Don't worry, since you are here, we can make you and Troy into one."
"It looks cool, Dad, I want to beco one!" His son clenched his fist in excitent. Hell, the boy had no idea about what was what, but as long as it was cool, he didn't care!
"Hold your horses, Troy! And you too!" The Empress cald the pair.
"It's fine. There are only benefits to all of this. Except maybe if you think standing out from the crowd is a negative." He shrugged at his wife, who, in question, just stared at him.
"Besides, I've been compiling data on the changes; you can read it if you want."
Leila continued to stare at him for a couple more minutes before she sighed in resignation.
"Fine, I will check it over."
The blonde doubted that Anna or any other Empress would pass on this opportunity to beco a higher form of human.
From the looks of it, this was the next step in evolution anyway.
But now that she knew that he 'evolved', did his Geass improve? Did it get stronger, or more flexible, or both…maybe sothing even more?
"And your Geass?"
"...Let's just say that it innovated itself as well." He said with a strained smile.
"By what extent?" Leila asked, even more curious when she saw his expression.
"Let's just say it beca supernatural in the most literal sense.
I can still see paths, the orderly progress, but now I see futures of things as well. Though the way I see it is in direct sequence order.
For example… I drink a cup of water, then I either take it to the dishwasher or place it in the sink. I can see the natural courses of those actions and the different actions I can take.
Before, it was hard to focus on simple actions; it was easier with more complex ones, as those have fewer branches of choice.
Now, however, I am no longer chained by that; my mind can easily process and single out the silly choices. It's like the software went from 1.0 to 2.0." Marcus explained to his wife, who listened patiently.
"So you don't need to be afraid of dying from overuse? That is a good thing."
Leila was relieved to hear that! Her husband used to use the Code alongside the Geass, as his brain would fry from using his Absolute Orderly Flow when he needed to improve the technology; from the looks of it, that was no longer the case.
"Dying!?"
The girls who heard that, especially Wang Liu i, squeaked in horror.
Leila looked at them for a second.
"Yes, his mind would overload from the huge amount of information he was getting. So he would use his Code to regenerate damaged brain tissue at a rapid pace." The blonde explained, her tone was annoyed. She was still very annoyed; it was even worse when she first heard it.
Geass like that was crazy! She has read intel on other Geass powers, and her husband's side effects were one of the worst.
One could say he was the definition of power has a price… or had.
"Indeed… it was like hot rod was screwing into my temples." Marcus pointed the side of his head.
The trio grimaced at the vivid image in their minds.
"Anyway! Let's go and make so food! I am thinking of steaks!" All of a sudden, the Emperor jumped to his feet, changing the the of the conversation; the side effects are sothing he doesn't care about anymore. It was in the past now.
"Dad! I want to help!" The Prince reminded them that he was in the room as he bounced back to the couch next to Marcus.
"Sure. Let's go." He nodded at his son, and the pair went right to the kitchen.
"I never imagined Geass could be that dangerous." Wang Liu i had cold feet after hearing about the side effects.
"It is a unique energy that your mind begins to generate. It cos in many different variations." As Leila said, her eye began to glow red.
Her glowing eye made the ex-CIC girls look at her with wide eyes. For the first ti, they saw Geass in action!
"My power allows to understand people from their perspective," Leila explained as she dismissed her Geass after showing it.
"It's nothing compared to Mark. If my power goes out of control, it would lead to understand people at a re glance.
But for him? If his power were to get loose, he would, in the best case, be blind in the worst case, dead."
The trio trembled after hearing the consequences.
