Marcus waited for this mont for a while. He walked over to a round platform. It was glowing white. Clearly, it was not a simple platform; the mont he spread his hand, it reacted.
A pair of tal boots erged, which he placed his feet in. There was a loud click as the boots sealed.
Once that part was complete, the robotic hands erged and began putting armour pieces on the Emperor.
"I wasn't expecting that!" Christina comnted as she watched what was happening to Marcus.
"He never stops to amaze . Ever since I t him, he has always been doing sothing." i said to the gathered ladies.
"That's my dad. Duh…" Claudia, holding Gary the Cheetah, said with an eye roll.
"Claudia is right… I still rember my first eting." Anna recalled sothing from years ago.
"Oh? You never told how you t Dad." The black-haired girl asked her mother.
"...Let's just say he schooled before taking away." Her mother replied with a strained smile.
"Hmm, I can see that." Claudia slowly nodded as she imagined sothing quite different.
"Did you know that Leila was the reason I am here?" The Pinkette Empress said to her daughter.
"...I can see that as well. Mama Leila is always the one who has Dad's ear."
"...you think it's like that?" The Science Empress looked at her daughter.
"Of course. If anything happens, she will be there to pull his ear." Claudia nodded sagely at her own remarks.
"Hahaha."
The gathered girls began to laugh, as in the background, Marcus' armour got assembled, the last piece was wings, three sets of wings based on Tiranis.
The Andraste style of helt's eyes glowed as Marcus looked at the armour in the darkness. Monts later, holograms began to power up.
The HUD pieces began to pop up.
First was the check-up of the systems. He saw the GN reactor, Resonance wings, joint servomotors, and GN verners pass all of the checks before minimising and sliding into the sides.
The left side of the armour was on the left, and the right was on the right, forming sothing like a boundary of the HUD's field of view.
On top of them was a compass, and the rest were intent-based. As Marcus looked at his family on the side, just by thinking, the image zood in, and he could highlight them with his mind; monts later, he could access the Legion database.
The Neural Interface was working perfectly.
[Of course it is. The Empire mastered this technology years ago.]
"Indeed. Now let's see resonance wings."
[Now that is a piece of tech that needs improvents.] Legion agreed with him, as below the compass, six wing icons appeared and began to glow.
The HUD indicated that resonance was on, and Marcus moved. His simple move towards the exit of the workshop caused him to nearly face-plant into a stone wall… again.
But thankfully, his reaction speed was good enough as he spun out of the way before forcing himself to float and leave the workshop and appear above the Pacific Ocean.
"Switch to kilotres per second because hours are too slow." Marcus began to complain as he saw tens of thousands per hour planted right in his face.
It was distracting to see so many numbers.
[Adjusting]
The numbers dropped considerably.
Instead of tens of thousands, it shrank into three digits.
"Much better."
[Doubtful, you are not pushing the platform to the limit.]
[It could bloat your screen again.]
"Hmm, I suppose we could switch light-years. Or sothing similar to the speed of sound." Marcus said, adjusting the HUD a bit.
He added another parater: the Resonance bubble. The bubble of gravity around him allows him to fly at absurd speeds.
The Resonance wings were direct successors of jump-space technology developed nearly five years ago. The science divisions are working overti to create a Jump Space Engine. A separate system that would not bloat the spaceships.
But so far, what they were able to create or mimic is a Resonance bubble. The issue with this tech is that they need an absurd amount of gravitational power.
Resonance bubble was sothing like Jump Space, achieved by combining Trans-Am's massive number of particle bursts with Gravity particles.
After simulating the Resonance bubble, the Imperial Science Division began working on developing a superior GN reactor.
The solution is to rework the entire way the cone engine works and perform several more rotations. Basically, a built-in twin drive system in a single engine.
But that's only the beginning. As more Innovators erged in the Empire, many scientists considered using the GN Drive's force to generate more gravity particles, thereby creating a resonance bubble.
Now, this tech has an alternative use… and that is a force field, or, as they say, a shield. The shield tech is the answer to beam technology.
It's a counter to the idea that so alien race will copy the focusing lens technology.
Focusing lens tech is far easier to copy than GN and Gravity particle; thus, shield is their answer and protection.
"It doesn't look bad; we should test the limits."
[No space travel. Your wife has instructed to make sure you don't do sothing stupid. I do apologise, Your Majesty.]
*Sigh*
"I know, I know. My darling wives are not happy that I solo'ed a solar system by myself." Marcus rolled his eyes.
"They forgot that I am an Innovator and not a regular human; having a critical failure in a mobile suit system is so old school that it's not funny."
[According to data that I have, the female subspecies of the human race has unreasonable factors that do not make any logical sense.
That is why I understand your frustration, Your Majesty.]
The Emperor chuckled when he heard that.
"Indeed. Now, why don't we check how fast we can circle the planet?" Marcus smirked as he moved forward, and soon enough, the continent behind him was far away.
But it was only the beginning, as monts later, there was land in front of him, the landscape was changing before him at absurd speed, before he realised he was already above Italy, then the Atlantic,
Then… he was right back at the West Coast.
[Well, this is not a good asure thod, Your Majesty. The Armour circled the planet before the GN Drive could pick up speed.]
The AI showed him the statistics.
[I used the orbital system to track the armour's speed.]
"I see. It would be the planet is too small." Marcus humd as he read through the statistics.
[Precisely. The technology is simply too advanced for the small planet.]
"Still, Anna forbids us to leave the planet at the mont, so we might as well. Circle it as many tis as needed to get a decent reading." With that said, the GN drive began to rotate and generate particles, then he moved.
The issue with the armour is that it completely ignores the planet, air resistance, and gravity.
aning that… It's harder to stay in the world than circle it…
At the end of the day, he went to the orbit and circled it.
The armour was like a streak of green and blue as it circled and circled the globe over and over again.
[23]
[24]
[25]
"Are we getting anywhere with this?" Marcus asked the AI, and to him it started to look the damn sa; he had circled the planet so many tis by this point.
[Well, I got a decent understanding of the armour's capabilities.]
With that said, he stopped and slowed down before returning to California.
[I do believe that if you tried this even harder, there could be so space and ti shenanigans. The armour is small enough for that.] The AI comnted to its creator.
"...Yeah, why do we skip that I don't want to explain to my wife that I am close to making a ti machine." The Emperor grimaced as Legion got so idea how to make the armour fly normally and not so crazy 50 thousand miles per second.
All the AI needed to do was turn off the bubble and adjust the particle dispersal to make the armour interact with the world.
As the armour landed on the platform, the robotic hands began to take it off him, piece by piece.
"I saw the test flight. It appears you made sothing even crazier than your Gundam." Anna sighed as she massaged her forehead.
"Depends on what you see as crazy. What you see is Mark 0, the Prototype. The next one will be even better." The Emperor smiled as he stretched a bit. He felt as if he were wearing a tight suit, and now he was back in his everyday clothes.
"I can imagine a small group of these easily destroying a civilisation," Anna comnted.
"I am more surprised that sothing of that scale was even possible." Christina chipped in, and Feldt joined.
'If Celestial Being focused on these instead of Gundam, they could have achieved their goals earlier.' The pinkette programr girl frowned as she imagined a different outco.
But that's just a what-if in a different tiline.
"Indeed. Marines will have these." Marcus imagined Iron Man's style of army docking into an alien warship and slaughtering their way with chanical precision.
…it's simply… cool as hell! His nerd self is jumping around like a giddy child!
"...Marines… and the rest?"
"Regulars will go through retrofit worthy for any terrain deploynt." Marcus smiled as he summoned his hologram and checked out so of the upgrades that he would be adding to Mark 1.
"Legion, prepare the package for howorld. I expect the G-Force R&D to iron it out and begin rolling out for the army and navy."
[Certainly, I am going through the data for your Mark 1 upgrades and have suggested so of the expansion.]
"..expansions?" Anna looked at her husband.
"Of course. What do you expect?" The Emperor shrugged at her. "I finished my biggest project to date, so I am tinkering away and focusing on my hobbies." He hinted at his success with Solar Cannon.
"...Hobbies, you say… You know…I understand my hobbies can creep people out with snakes and bugs in my basent, but you…
You are making stuff that can end civilisations." The Pinkette Empress shook her head.
"Mama, he is Dad." Claudia shrugged; she had already accepted that her old man was on a different level.
"...yes, I am dad." Marcus shrugged again as he began to check 'expansions'; it was sothing similar to flight support units.
Not a single, but an array of those.
Flight support booster for interstellar travel, like teors from Gundam Seed, then combat support like Hulk Buster from Marvel Iron Man, and then a backpack inspired by what his Gundams have.
The best part is that he doesn't need more power. His GN drive will suffice. These boosters provide tanks that can store extra particles.
[I do have this as well.]
Monts later, Legion showed him a concept of simply having pieces attached to legs, arms and the back, reminding him of those harem ani with 'suits'.
[These are slender and not only that, but they would focus on pure GN and particle performance. I do believe the younger generation calls them more 'magical'.]
Marcus stroked his chin. His AI got so interesting ideas from the data they have collected.
"Interesting, the hand can transform into cannons. You do know that I love that kind of stuff." The Emperor sagely nodded. His partner in cri knows what he likes.
[Indeed. There are several prototype thods that we could try, such as deploying particle barriers. We have an amplification system on your Tiranis. The principle is similar, with a bit of adjustnt, we could have barriers, amplification and other systems installed in wing bits.]
"Indeed, we already walked this path. This specific booster looks very plausible."
Marcus nodded a couple of tis. He had already bought over.
'Plausible? I doubt any of this stuff is not plausible for this guy with how many resources he has.' Christina and Feldt had strained smiles. She has seen how the Science division and this guy work. It's like the difference between day and night.
There are so regulations they have to work with, but this guy just makes stuff up, whatever is on his mind.
'I suppose that is why he conquered the world, right? So that he could do any of that.'
With that in mind, the Emperor already began to work on Mark 1 and the first booster, the particle booster, as he just dubbed it. This booster helps disperse many particles.
