John pulled the first window in front of him. “There will be 3 ‘minor’ boons, then a selection of the kinds of spells I can grant you, then one such spell, then 2 ‘greater’ boons and finally one more ‘minor’ boon,” he explained to Nahua. In actual terms, this ant 3 Monster Girl Perks, the Skill Focus selection, 1 Skill Perk, 2 Monster Girl Ascension Perks and finally another regular Monster Girl Perk.

“Wow, that’s a lot! I hope I can handle it,” Nahua answered, all girly, batting her eyelashes. “Don’t let keep you waiting, I’m here to hear the choices.”

“First I discard flesh as a whole and now I can beco sothing different again,” Nahua chatted, casually kicking the air. “Any of you pretty girls have a suggestion? You look like a wise bunch.”

The question was aid at Aclysia and Delicia. While the rest of the harem had decided to give Nahua privacy for this talk, the two maids stayed around but had kept quiet so far. For once, the alchemist was fully dedicated to just being close and occasionally playing with his hair. She had missed him, that much was clear without her saying it. It was adorable.

“Axolotl,” Aclysia answered imdiately.

“Yeah, seems like the obvious answer,” Delicia agreed.

“The people did always call the Axolotl’s Kiss.” Nahua humd. “Why would you agree though.”

“The frills would look cute in a maid uniform,” Aclysia presented her simple reasoning.

Nahua’s face went blank for a solid three seconds, then she broke out into laughter. It only got louder once John supplented her understanding of the phrase, spoken in Nahuatl, was in reference to the sa outfit the two maids were currently wearing. “Oh, you are delightfully insolent,” the demigoddess said, wiping a genuine tear of amusent away. “Be it as it may, I rather enjoy being solid and I do not enjoy a lack of control over my own features. Grant the aspect of my nasake.”

John pressed the button and watched the change unfold. Six tendrils, three on each side of her head, sprouted between the back of her pointy ears and her temples. They were about the length of her hand, from middle finger to the wrist, and a pale, pinkish colour. Once they had reached their full length, the gills sprouted along their length. They were of a notably darker colour and barely thicker than her hair.

After creation, the frilly gills relaxed and settled among her hair. Without closer inspection, they looked remarkably unremarkable, looking like gradient highlights in her mane. It wasn’t until she did a little bit of emoting that their movent made them notably rise from the surrounding white of her hair.

Mimicking a shocked expression, Nahua caused the frills to stand on end. She frowned and they sloped with the tips of her ears. She gave an annoyed glare and they curled softly. She sighed and they relaxed alongside the exhale. “These are fun!” she declared, causing them to perk straight back up. She tilted her head one way, then the other, and the frilly gills waved around like little flags in a breeze.

‘AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH,’ John scread in his mind. ‘Why do monster girls have to be so damn cute?!’ “Let’s pick the next Perk,” he suggested and checked the window.

After the choice of aesthetics, the second choice seed to be the manifestation of her powers. Because of what she was, John expected more of her powers to be bound into the Perk side of things than usual. The fact that she had gotten 3 to start with and only one Skill reflected this already.

‘No choice on the the of sacrifice,’ John noted to himself. “What will it be?”

Nahua’s smile twisted into a malevolent, dark visage that even made John’s skin crawl. “Let it be Plague,” she stated. “Give the authority to infect and to cure as I please.”

‘Why are red flags so hot?’ the Gar thought, considered, then ca to the answer. ‘Because I know, with her, that’s her wanting to have a power she wouldn’t use irresponsibly. She won’t leave whatever diseases she gets access to ravage the countryside forever… with Plague Glutton she can always scoop them up later.’ “The boon is granted.”

Nahua imdiately raised a hand. Under her palm, a purple liquid began to form. John halfway expected her to request him being a test subject. Instead, like a cat cleaning itself, she licked the purple contagion off her skin. “h,” she chatted. “It is like tasting your own saliva. It's just super neutral, you know? Want to try?” She laughed before he could answer. “I’m just ssing with you. You’re so rigid, you know? In more ways than one!”

“I’m just a man,” John said.

“A big studly Master of a man,” Delicia chid in. “Need help with that? Co on, you always need help with that.”

‘Soone is thirsty.’ John found that fact more amusing than anything. A glance at Nahua made her tilt her head in confusion. The frills around her head curved in a shape akin to question marks. ‘I suppose her society would have been more open about these things?’ “Alright, co here.”

Delicia bridged the little distance, only to be picked up. John crossed the little distance between the chess seats and ‘Blowjob Throne’. It wasn’t much of one at the mont, not with him deciding he would rather have Delicia ride him after enduring the recent stress without any relief. The shortstack disrobed and her curvy form was soon moving gently up and down on his manhood. There was a lot of delicious jiggle to follow there.

Despite knowing better, John could not help but be a bit disappointed when Nahua’s reaction to it all remained dispassionate. A Libido of 0 was a Libido of 0. “Can you still concentrate?” she asked.

“Between orgasms,” John assured. “And, despite what this brat might tell you…” he grabbed one of Delicia’s enormous breasts, “…I am not a quickshot.”

“Your bragging is getting you nowhere with , sorry to tell you,” Nahua joked. “Boon three?”

“The Fus are the obvious choice,” Nahua said. “Right? Or did the entire atmosphere change since I last awakened? Genuine question, I an, your steel birds now that fly faster than any iguana ever skittered… what?”

“I was about to ask why you wouldn’t use a… hmm.” John t the double issue here. He wanted to say ‘horse’ but her dialect of Nahuatl didn’t even have a word for it. The horse had only been introduced to the New World after she had been sealed. Even if the others had inford her of what these animals were while he had been sleeping, she would have about as much of a concept for one as he did of an allosaurus. “We really ought to teach you more about the world and English…”

“Perhaps, anyway, Fus, yes?” Nahua answered in her casual tone.

“Fus do indeed sound good from a chanical point of view,” John answered and pressed the button.

Another quick test revealed the way this worked. The mucus Nahua created gradually evaporated into a purple mist. Plague Glutton ant she could suck that up whenever she wanted to, so no leaving around her diseases.

“Alright, ti for one of the big choices,” John said.

The Gar tried not to stare at Nahua while she pondered. The swaying breasts of Delicia in front of him did make that a success. Watching the shortstack ride him from one orgasm to the next was entertaining enough to distract him from the potential disagreent coming up.

“You wouldn’t let take Selection Pressure, right?”

“No,” John answered imdiately.

Nahua smirked. “Good.”

That was an assurance John had needed to hear. While the axolotl demigoddess decided between the remaining two choices, he took a mont to make out with Delicia and fill the greedy little maid up just the way she liked it. “Good girl,” he purred into her ear, while she was pressed against him. She giggled gleefully.

While they were like that, he had a mont to think. Selection Pressure was out from the start because, for all the freedom of choice he wanted to give her, he would not hand anyone, not even one of his harettes, the tools to create an apocalypse scenario. This was doubly true because this, by the viewable formulation, was repeatable. He really did not want to have a second (arguably worse) Thana situation at his hands.

Between Inevitable End and Research and Ruination, he would recomnd she took the latter. The forr was better to take out singular targets, in theory this could waste away even Romulus given enough ti, but the latter was just the better combat Class. Plus, he also did not want anyone to have the ability to assassinate whoever they touched in the most drawn-out, sickening fashion.

Doubtlessly, Romulus did have ways to, if not cure, at least offset this Doom Plague… right up until Nahua also hit level 1000, which would happen if she stayed in contract with him. At that point, the likely only way to cure soone hit with that disease was to kill her. That was just nasty. It was the kind of nasty John would have loved to have access to in a videoga, but in reality was probably more trouble than it was worth.

Research and Ruination, by contrast, was still dangerous over the long term, as poison builds tended to be, but it was at least sowhat reasonable. Granted, that was wholly dependent on what diseases and Skills she got access to, but at least it wasn’t terrible from the outset.

“I will go wiiiiiiith…” Nahua’s girly tone stretched the word with teasing intent, “…Research and Ruination! I like those things!”

“Can you not say that while sounding so cute?” John requested.

“Awww, but what girl doesn’t dream about sending a pox about her rivals’ houses?” Nahua chatted. “Right, you get , right?” she looked at Aclysia.

“Admittedly, that does sound intriguing,” the dragon maid answered. “For so people, freezing is too kind an end…”

“Right?”

“Let’s pick the first Skill, then,” John kept the ball rolling.

This selection of Skills was very interesting, if only because it revealed that there were potential combos to be pulled off once she got access to many of them. Using one person to infect them with a particularly difficult disease to get to stick and then Blood Boil them so it spreads to everyone else. Alternatively, use a highly virulent disease, Mutate it a bunch of tis, then unleash that on everyone. That sounded unaffordable though.

As interesting as Blood Boil was on that basis, it was not a good first choice. “Intensify,” Nahua picked the obvious option. Without that Skill, her combat capabilities would have been limited to waiting out the enemy's death over the course of days or weeks. Not exactly a working strategy.

And with that, they got to the really powerful options.

“You just thought about how you would kill , didn’t you?” Nahua asked.

“Your Perks… boons are turning out to be a little more dangerous than I would have guessed,” he confessed. “Not in the sense that I believe you’ll be especially dangerous to anyone on your level, but the wide scale havoc you could bring…”

“Why do you think they nad after an ambassador of the underworld?” Nahua-xoco-atl-xolotl asked in a grim tone. “All always knew that I could end their lives by just vomiting the disease within back into the world. The only thing that this changes is that I do not have to devour it first.”

“That changes a lot.”

Nahua shrugged. “Plague Golem.”

The decision John wanted her to most and least to take. Most if she was going to stay on his side, especially if she remained contracted even after this affair concluded. Least if she was going to switch sides. Regardless, he confird this. He was in for a penny so he was in for a pound. He did not consider himself naïve enough to be wrong about her. ‘Could be arrogance though,’ he warned himself. ‘Arrogance and veneration for cute girls….’

One more Monster Girl Ascension Perk was waiting for them.

The previous choices had been really good, but these were truly incredible. Control over continuously more diseased water was, sohow, the least powerful of these three. It would have been much better if she hadn’t already been weighed so incredibly towards Endurance.

As it stood, Veiled in Poison and Unstoppable March were both filthy good. With Intensify, Unstoppable March ant that she was wasting away her enemies even faster while she got ever harder to kill. Combined with Plague Golem, any injury she suffered caused her to produce more mucus, which spread her contagions, which increased her Endurance, which allowed her to be hurt more. It was a vile circle and her HP regeneration was also incredible thanks to the 50% bonus from the Axolotl choice.

Veiled in Poison was similar, but it had a more active approach to it. She could take a smoke and mirrors strategy, gradually sapping her enemies of their speed. It did not give her the sa tankiness and was worse against more targets, but Agility was more useful to her. She already had the Endurance.

“I’ll be Veiled in Poison,” Nahua decided.

“Crotch Rot!” Nahua decided excitedly. “Crotch Rot, gim!”

“Please tell you’re joking,” John wheezed. These final choices were two thirds fortunately dull and one third terrible and she was pouncing on the terrible one.

“No,” Nahua stated, then snickered. “Yes. Ah, I do enjoy ssing with you, I am so, so sorry, but it’s fine because I’m cute, right?” Her smile twisted from endearing to dangerous. “You wear your desire for won too openly for it not to be exploited,” she told him in a cold voice.

“You’re far from the first person to try,” John responded and kissed the shortstack in front of him on the lips. “I do enjoy the banter.”

“He’s addicted to the banter,” Delicia said.

John theatrically rolled his eyes. “What is your actual choice?”

“Cleanliness.”

The tap of the button swiftly added a nice sheen to her already taut, brown skin. ‘Dangerous, very dangerous,’ John thought. “Our next move, then,” he told Nahua. “We’ll fly to the east, there should be an airport around there. Any specific place where we should go ant hunting? We already found what we thought was the main temple, plus we have found the Gluttony Emissary.”

“Ah, but have you found the queen?” John shook his head. “Then we shall go to the Serpent Graveyard.”

That sounded foreboding.
