“God, that was necessary.” John’s words were t with a wave of muttered or outspoken agreent. So of the won were still not satisfied. The only one who did not stop was Sylph. She had shown impressive willpower to wrestle down her heat in order to get off the stage. That she wasn’t jumping John was another small miracle.

Instead, Sylph continued to smack her ass against the support pillar, repeatedly sheathing the dildo inside her. Pussy juices ran down the tal surface and her thighs in equal asure. All the sa, her cries of unstoppable lust continued to ring out in the tent.

“Permission to break the vow to help the airhead calm down?” Salamander requested.

“…Yeah, permission granted,” Rave allowed. They had all wanted a little break, so had borderline needed it, but if Sylph was supposed to function in the next hour, she actually required soone’s touch to help her with her heat.

Their lifestyle treated the drawbacks of their rampant nymphomania, but they did still exist.

Salamander marched over to Sylph and tossed the volt bunny over her shoulder. “I’ll take you sowhere private, so can you not touch yourself for five minutes?” she requested, her voice reflecting understanding and patience. It was one of those tender monts between girls that bickered at all other tis.

Sylph produced so understanding sound and managed to manifest her clothes. Carrying the wind spirit along, Salamander was the first to leave the tent.

“This was entertaining, but we all have arrangents,” Lu Zhi remarked. “Daiyu, I will go change, then I will et the pri minister. You clean up here, then et back in our apartnt.”

The black-haired woman’s head was lowered, hiding her eyes and much of her face behind her long, bluntly cut bangs. The only thing that could be said with certainty was that she was blushing. “Y-yes, Lulu.”

John had totally forgotten that Daiyu was there – again. He scratched the back of his head awkwardly, but chose not to further upset the shy woman with comnts.

‘Shall I intervene?’ Aclysia asked ntally. ‘This is our space to clean.’

‘No, if Lulu asks her to do sothing away from her, it must be for so reason. Might be that she wants to give Daiyu an excuse to be alone for a bit,’ the Gar responded. ‘This must all have been quite overwhelming for the shy little thing.’

‘Affirmative, it must have been quite stimulating,’ Aclysia responded.

Not the Gar’s choice of words but not inaccurate either.

Their gathering dissolved from there. At their own pace, the girls went to the changing area, where they had left their regular clothes. John was blessed in that he could just press a button, then walk away.

The air outside the tent had a pleasant warmth to it, 10 degrees removed from the heat that Rave would have preferred. There was forest in every direction and no spying magics nor spying people in sight. He had half expected to find Layla around. Four explanations ca to mind. Either she had not gotten wind of this entanglent, hadn’t decided to stalk on them, had decided to but was quivering sowhere in the distance, drunk on their auras, or she was hiding expertly from John using her abilities and her knowledge of his psychological profile.

That he couldn’t be sure which one it was made her both endearing and terrifying. ‘Do I love dangerous won? Yes, yes, I do,’ John thought and sighed at his male simplicity. ‘I just hope this didn’t break my control streak. I’ll know when I run into Esralda again.’

He continued down the pathway, He was about five minutes away from the tent, when he reached into his inventory to retrieve his phone. His hand grasped nothing in the storing void.

John blinked twice, then went back to his mory. There had been a gap in ti between him arriving at the tent and the start of the contest in which he had moved around in it. Finding the mont in ti at which he had put down his phone on the bar counter was easy. He had forgotten to pick it back up.

“Rookie error,” he muttered to himself with a bit of mirth. Whenever he made these small mistakes, he was oddly happy about it. For all of his erudite mory and supernatural powers, he was still a hairless monkey deep down, with all the short circuiting that ca with it.

He could have left the phone there. Daiyu would no doubt find it and he had plenty of spares to use in its stead. Though, if he did use one of the other phones to browse the net, Scarlett might scold him for compromising the phone’s security. Either way, he had the five minutes he needed to get it. Turning on his heels, he walked back the way he ca.

The crowd of his won passed him. They exchanged a quick talk in passing, just him giving the explanation and Rave teasing him for it. Aclysia offered to get it in his stead. He declined. They continued their separate ways.

The tent did not lay still. Music ran loud over the speakers. Through the slightly parted flap, the active lights within shone. ‘Can’t fault her for wanting to clean with a bit of a show,’ the Gar thought as he pushed his way inside.

He imdiately stopped in the entryway.

Daiyu knelt on the stage, bent forwards, a hose held over the back of her head and shoulders. The stream of water had already soaked her black Chinese dress. It lacked the transparency of the flimsy white t-shirts they had used, but the fabric clung to her dangling breasts all the sa, the nipples visible as erect buttons at the peak of each upside-down mound.

Her panties lay under her right foot, right where she had discarded them. Her back was arched, trembling softly. Her hand was between her shapely thighs. There was no doubt about what she was doing. She was pulled together into a tight ball of female delight, working herself up to a climax for no one but herself.

‘I’m far from the sneakiest guy around, but I should be able to get my phone and get out of here before she notices,’ the Gar thought, eyes on his phone. ‘I’ll just take this to the grave.’ He raised one foot with supernatural agility, all of him focused on minimizing the amount of sound he made on the compacted dirt.

Daiyu’s head turned before the sole of his shoe ca back down.

The shortstack stared at him, her black eyes wide open. She lowered the hose halfway to the stage. Her hand remained right where it was. She was every bit as frozen as he had been in the first second of entering. Her lips parted. Only a squeak ca out. The blush under her eyes was just adorable.

“I forgot my phone,” John explained calmly and took his eyes off her. Now that he had been caught, he would play it cool and try to make her feel as normal as possible. “You have pretty sharp reflexes,” he complinted her.

“Buh… bwah…? Guhbra-hihihi?” A nonsensical string of noises ca from her, ending in a nervous giggle.

“Nothing to be ashad of, you saw what we just did,” he further encouraged her and picked up his phone.

“Y-yeah, I kn-kn-know what we did!” Daiyu sputtered and suddenly shot up into sitting straight. “Y-y-you made part of it a-a-a-and that was… that was…-“ She gulped, never finishing that sentence.

John’s desire to investigate was only trumped by his confusion. “I made you part of it?” That did not sound like him. Even during his horniest ti, he only had one-night-stands with won that knew exactly what the entanglent had been about. Less importantly, he always rembered doing that. He certainly would have rembered sothing that had happened not even twenty minutes ago.

Right?

“Y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-youuuuuu...” Daiyu put her hands on her cheeks and directed her eyes to the floor. She spotted her panties. In a flash, she had them clutched to her chest. John blinked a couple of tis. That movent had been almost too quick for him to follow. For him. Her movent.

Annoyance rose in the back of his mind as he tried to realize what that ant. He had a bunch of puzzle pieces before him, fitting together in an incredibly obvious way. It felt like he was standing in front of a supermarket shelf, looking for an item that was right in front of him. Except that the relief and stupidity of finding the item never ca. He kept looking for it, his conclusions gliding away as if blocked by a smooth shell.

“Awa… You told us… awawawa… all to cum!” Daiyu finally got her sentence out. “Awawawawa…”

“Oh, right… sorry, I forgot to exclude you from it. For so reason, I keep forgetting you’re there.” John scratched his chin in embarrassnt, then stopped for a mont. ‘Was I not concerned about sothing a mont ago?’ he thought.

The cute, stamring woman in front of him kept his mind off the oddities with it. “It’s… it’s, uhm… it’s fine…” Daiyu pushed her fingers together a couple of tis. “It… just… uhm… and then… you know?”

Funnily enough, John did know, for he was fluent in the language of ‘horny stuttering’. “It felt good, you were overwheld, and decided you’d like to try out how it felt to be on stage?” he summarized her thoughts.

Being read like that deepened her blush fiercely. All the sa, she nodded. Such bravery inside that easily panicked shell.

“Well, I apologize for ruining the mood.” John put his phone into its slot in his inventory and looked around. He doubted Daiyu could get back into the swing of things even if he left now. “As an apology, I can help you clean up?”

“Y-you’re an emperor! You d-d-d-don’t clean!” Daiyu declared, sohow sounding more mortified by that suggestion than she did at being caught with her panties down.

“My maids use a different title, but the sa logic and I have to prove them wrong every now and again.” He shot her a casual smile. Her blush changed from an embarrassed red to a bit more of a pinkish, happy hue. ‘I think this falls under flirting,’ the Gar thought. ‘Well, she has a potential spot in the harem reserved already, so… wait, does she? Yeah, as Lulu’s servant, she does… right?’

Daiyu giggled at his words. “W-well… i-if you d-don’t want to end up like… like, uhm, Prince Song Wei, it would be… good? To help clean?”

“I don’t know that one,” John responded as he walked over to the glass Lu Zhi had left behind. He picked it up and carried it over to the bar, placing it in the dishwasher. “Care to tell about him?”

“Nothing much to t-tell.” Daiyu was a little calr now. She hopped off the stage and hurried over to one of the tall speakers, using it as cover to put her panties back on without revealing her womanhood. “He w-was a prince that passed the eighteen trials and held the, uhm, seven speeches. He was heir-apparent, but ultimately, uhhh… lost his position because he was reliant on servants to even dress h-himself.”

“Yeah, that’s exactly what I want to avoid,” the Gar said.

With her panties back on, Daiyu walked over to the lone armchair that John had sat on. The petite woman picked up the fairly heavy piece of furniture with exceptional ease. On her small arms, the biceps’ bulged, revealing quite a bit of definition.

“You keep really fit,” John comnted. “Any reason why?”

“I-it helps d-deal with, uhm… stress and stuff…” Daiyu responded. “And… I want to be as strong as I can be. For Lulu.” She added that last bit in quiet clarification. “S-she deserves soone that… always has her back. S-soone besides you! Y-y-you obviously do that too!”

“I feel flattered for being included.” John pushed a stool back into its proper place and watched as Daiyu went behind the bar to grab a spray bottle and a rag. Not caring the slightest about the kinds of stains she was removing, she misted the armchair then wiped up the variety of sexual fluids that had been spilled during his stay on it. “That doesn’t bother you, hmm?”

“C-cleaning cum and such is, uh… awkward but there’s been worse...”

“Like what?” John asked.

Daiyu’s voice was tiny and sharp as a glass shard. “…Lulu’s bandages…”

The words hung in the air for a mont. John’s mind returned to the state he had found his imperial tomboy in. The grievous wound that had been dealt to her by the treacherous general was seared into his mory. An ugly gash oozing lifeblood and horrific pus from the body of a beloved. “We will find the people behind it in due ti,” he promised.

“We better,” Daiyu spat out. Sohow, John did not doubt that the lady-in-waiting would find a way to personally puml whoever was responsible into submission.

They continued to work in silence for a bit. Once cleaned, Daiyu carried the armchair into the back where the other props were waiting. John went over the stage with a swiper, pushing excess water away. Together, they rolled up the hoses and checked that none of the water system was leaking. Not that it really mattered, the stage would be disassembled on Monday by people with expertise in it. In the anti, John really did not care if they wasted even hundreds of litres of conjured water.

Still, it was good to be thorough about these things.

“A-am I getting… less awkward? Around you?” Daiyu asked, rekindling an earlier topic.

“All in all? Definitely.” John sat down at the bar as the shortstack moved behind it. It was their final check and he would have been in the way more than he would have helped if he did it beside her. “You’re still shy and such, but you are getting braver. I know that can’t be easy for you.”

“It… really is not,” Daiyu admitted. “But I have to try. Lulu is… she has... made an effort to… and you will be…” She stopped again, her pale lips pressed together in embarrassnt.

“Your emperor?” John helpfully suggested.

“T-t-that… works,” Daiyu agreed.

John raised an eyebrow. He had assud that would be the title she always thought of when she drifted off like that. “What word were you thinking about?” he inquired.

“Wawawawa- why do you have to ask that?!” Daiyu squeaked and slamd sothing shut. “It’s not important! L-let’s look left and right and talk about other things!”

“That feels like a poorly translated proverb.”

“It is!” Daiyu agreed loudly, then cleared her throat. “It is… it’s from a story about Xuan of Qi… uhm… well, I know about it from a story set in the ti period wherein a rice farr’s daughter is chased by a fourth son of a nobleman. It’s a really sweet story, because it starts all ‘ohhhh, the power dynamic is so uneven!’ but then she realizes that the fourth son will inherit nothing and is not cared for, while she is rich in the care of her parents.”

“Is he pretending otherwise?” John wondered.

“Y-yes, at first… b-but! He feels really guilty about it from the start. There’s all those subtle hints and when he cos clean she already knows and forgives him, because she knows he only did it because he thought he needed to do it to gain her attention!”

“How does it end?” the Gar asked, enjoying listening to her gush about a story, even if or especially because this was the kind of female-oriented writing that he did not partake in himself.

“The father is totally against his son marrying a peasant and sends him off to war! T-then they stage his death on the battlefield and he marries the farr’s girl, forsaking his previous life.”

“She must have had a really nice ass.”

Daiyu cried out, scandalized. “That’s terrible!”

“What? It’s a complint. You have a really nice ass too.”

“J-j-j-john!” The black-haired woman was cutely upset, stomping her foot behind the bar.

John smirked. “That’s the first ti you called by my na like that.”

That took the little bit of anger right out of her sails and put her back into a stuttering, shy state. “I… oh… Awawawa… I apolo-“

“Don’t. It’s fine. Good, even.” He put his elbow on the counter and leaned towards her. “You should get comfortable around your emperor.”

Daiyu turned a peachy shade of pink.

There was a comfortable silence between them, the kind that was best left unbroken. They both felt that in their souls. With a smile shared between them, John split, heading for the exit. Nothing needed to be said and thus nothing was said.

A silent note of the highest order.
