A piece of ancient architecture stood tall amid the icy landscape. Everything was frozen. Eaves, corridors, bricks, and tiles were all covered in ice crystals, resembling a long line of crystal palaces.
Fortunately, this place wasn’t entirely frozen. If not, they wouldn’t be able to enter.
“Let’s go and take a look at that building first.” The martial warriors exchanged glances with one another and cautiously walked towards the foremost ancient architecture.
The place was incredibly quiet as if no living creature existed.
However, Wei Na and the others didn’t dare to relax for a mont. The eerie silence of the place sent shivers down their spines.
They arrived entrance. The stone door was frozen by the ice and snow. It emitted a chilling aura.
“Who wants to knock?” Wei Na and the others swallowed their saliva as they stared at the door.
“Why don’t Yuan Bai and Tong En do it?” Bi Yao looked at the two of them and hesitated.
“Look at how timid you are.” Tong En took out a lollipop and stuck it in her mouth. She licked it a few tis and rolled her eyes at Bi Yao. Then, she pushed the door directly.
Bang!
The stone gate fell with a dull and loud sound.
Despite the impact, the frozen gate remained completely undamaged. Its icy surface remained intact.
Everyone jumped in fright and took a few steps back.
“???” Tong En felt a little awkward. She turned to look at everyone and said, “This door seems a little weak. I just gave it a gentle push!”

The group stepped into the building cautiously behind her.
Many of these ancient structures were in the form of palaces, but most appeared to be ordinary houses. They looked like living quarters.
The room they entered now seed like a living space.
As soon as they stepped in, a tremor ran through the hearts of the group. Their expressions changed slightly as they looked at the ground before them.
A frozen corpse lay on the ground!
The corpse looked so lifelike as if it were still a living person!
That was why Wei Na and the others were startled.
Coming across a frozen corpse in such an environnt was undoubtedly a chilling experience. One could imagine their emotions.
Their nerves were already on the edge and the slightest movent could make them jump. Thus, seeing this scene only added to their shock and fear.
Moreover, the appearance of the corpse was eerie. The entire body was frozen stiff, with its hands reaching out towards the gate in a struggling motion like it was trying to crawl towards it. The face was contorted with terror as if it had seen sothing extrely horrifying.
This image added to the ominous atmosphere.
Wang Teng was watching them from the side like a bystander. He was hidden in space, less than three ters away from the group. He, too, was shocked when he saw the frozen corpse.
How can there be soone here?
“Gulp!” Pilder suddenly swallowed his saliva. It sounded exceptionally clear in this quiet place.
The group regained their senses and exchanged glances. They crouched down in front of the frozen corpse to check if the person was still alive.
“The clothing on this frozen corpse is very antiquated. It looks like sothing from ancient tis!” Wei Na exclaid.
“Indeed, it’s an ancient style.” Tong En nodded. His eyes glinted in excitent.
Bi Yao and the others were familiar with this. They studied ancient artifacts in the past so that they could make accurate judgnts during their explorations.
Combined with the architectural style, they finally confird that this place was indeed an ancient architecture. Their previous speculations weren’t wrong.
Ancient people?! Wang Teng wondered to himself. Through his Real Eye, he could already see that there were no signs of life within the frozen corpse. However, when he tried to determine the cause of the person’s death, he found nothing conclusive. He could only confirm that the person had died from freezing.

Feeling sowhat disappointed, they continued exploring one room after another. They discovered that most of the rooms had frozen corpses inside. Even as they walked through the streets, they ca across nurous frozen bodies on the ground. So were frozen in a running posture.
The five martial warriors’ expressions were grim. Along the way, they saw at least thousands of frozen corpses.
One or two corpses weren’t shocking but seeing thousands of frozen bodies before them intensified their unease.
They all sensed an eerie aura perating this place. Their hearts weighed down with worry.
