Wang Teng closely followed behind. He felt a sense of urgency and believed that the protective formation above them wouldn't hold much longer.

"Could it just be my imagination?" Landon mumbled to himself, and without thinking too much about it, he continued his dash towards the central palace.
A pillar of light shot into the sky from the top of the palace, sustaining the protective array.
The queen of the snakeman race was there too.
Landon was aware of all this, but he had no other choice but to proceed.
Fortunately, the outbreak of the poison tide presented a rare opportunity for him, the only opportunity he would get.
Still, the poison tide above him was deeply unsettling, and he couldn't afford to waste ti. He needed to acquire that item as quickly as possible and find a hiding place.
Soon, Landon arrived at the central palace and concealed himself in a corner to observe.
This was a massive and majestic palace, occupying a vast area, larger than any of the other outside halls.
The palace had a pointed roof, and it was intricately carved with serpents. These serpents were depicted coiling around columns and adorning the eaves, almost everywhere you looked.
"These snaken like to worship serpents!" Wang Teng thought to himself.
"After all, the snaken have half of the serpent bloodline," Round Ball said. "However, only those unique and powerful serpent bloodlines can rge with human bloodlines to give rise to the snaken."
Wang Teng nodded. He felt that he was learning sothing new.
Standing near the palace, a faint sense of pressure emanated from the central pillar of light, diffusing in all directions.
King Teng couldn't help but look up at the central palace with its towering spire. He saw the coiled serpent carved onto the spire, its massive mouth wide open, and the pillar of light seed to be spewing out from it, creating a surreal sight.
"This should be the queen's inner palace."
Staying hidden in the distance, he activated his Real Eye and observed. He saw that several cosmos-stage martial warriors were guarding the palace.
To his surprise, he noticed a familiar figure—Zagu!
The defiant snakeman who had refused to submit to the queen!
Wang Teng couldn't help but ponder Zagu's fate, wondering if he had ultimately surrendered to the queen.
Speaking of the queen, she was quite beautiful indeed. If it were up to him, he might begrudgingly accept the chance to bask in her presence.
However, the notion of becoming a slave to the queen was entirely out of the question. King Teng's sole desire was to experience the queen's majestic authority, with no other ulterior motives in mind.

Compared to the talents from the Stellar Academies, these snaken martial warriors were still lacking.
They were all at the cosmos stage so they weren't as powerful as Landon.
As for Wang Teng, since Landon managed to enter, he could too.
In the palace, a cold aura filled the air, and the surroundings were adorned with nurous snaken sculptures and murals. These statues were crafted from a black stone with erald gems embedded in their eyes, giving them an eerie, lifelike appearance as though they were watching every intruder.
The walls and pillars were also constructed from dark stone or tal materials, exuding a chilling atmosphere.
Wang Teng took careful, silent steps, making no noise that might give away his presence.
The palace was too spacious, and any sound could be magnified to the extre.
A cosmos-stage or heaven-stage martial warrior could pick up the slightest sound and discover him.
Landon was equally cautious, ensuring that he didn't make any noise. He managed to evade the patrols throughout the palace, slowly progressing towards the deeper areas of the palace.
The palace's interior was vast and complex, and it was easy to get lost without a guide.
However, Landon appeared to know exactly where he was going, navigating through the nurous corridors with a clear purpose.
Soon, a faint light erged at the end of one of the corridors, catching Wang Teng's attention.
Landon carefully approached.
Surprisingly, there were no guards at the end of the corridor.
Walking out of the corridor, Landon entered a spacious hall with a towering throne at its center.
A srizing snakewoman was coiled upon the throne, her alluring figure reclined in a way that emanated an irresistible charm. A simple movent released a captivating allure that was nothing short of terrifying.
Her serpentine lower half swayed slightly, exuding a unique and exotic allure.
Undeniably, the queen possessed a charisma that surpassed all other snakewon.
Even soone as resolute as Landon couldn't help but be montarily captivated upon seeing her up close.
Fortunately, Wang Teng had already seen Little Qing'er and Cang Yu, two charismatic snakewon, and he had developed so immunity. Therefore, the queen didn't affect him as profoundly.
