"What is that?" Le Yan's expression changed. She stared at the pillar of light in astonishnt.
The people outside seed to have seen sothing unbelievable too. They stood up from their seats.

Dark Force. These two short words caused everyone to fall into an eerie silence. The atmosphere turned extrely tense.
On the high platform, Great Elder Dan Chen and Wang Teng had stern expressions on their faces. Their gazes were cold.

"Wait!" Great Elder Dan Chen suddenly looked at Wang Teng on the screen. Wang Teng's expression was extrely calm. Even when dark apparitions appeared, he didn't show any signs of astonishnt or fear. This gave him a different kind of hope.
"What is it?" Great Elders Byers asked.
"Look at Wang Teng" Great Elder Dan Chen took a deep breath and said. "Huh? This young man is quite bold, Great Elders Tambelli exclaid in surprise. "Even if he's strong, he doesn't have much chance of winning against the dark apparitions." Great Elder Byers seed to know what Dan Chen was thinking. He frowned uncontrollably.

"Erm, why don't you go down? You can't even defeat him before he released his full potential, much less his dark Force now." Wang Teng was speechless.
Didn't this young lady know her own ability?
Help? It would be good enough if she didn't add to his trouble.
Le Yan's face turned black. However, she realized that she couldn't refute. The feeling of being looked down upon made her uncomfortable. She really wanted to find a hole and

yourself!" Wang Teng noticed that her expression wasn't right so he coughed awkwardly and tried to salvage the situation.
Le Yan glanced at him until he shifted his gaze away guiltily. Her expression softened a little and she retreated to the back without saying anything else.
This fellow was irritating but he was right. She would only drag him down if she stayed here. When she saw the dark apparitions appearing, she didn't think too much and just wanted to do her part. She decided to give up on this thought in case he looked down on
her again.
Wang Teng heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that she didn't kick up a fuss. He looked at the dark green pillar of light in front.
The man in black gown was rising slowly from the pillar of light. The black gown on his body had disappeared, revealing the bulging muscles below as well as the strange black patterns on his skin. One could feel the evilness in them just by looking at him.

Wang Teng's gaze flickered slightly. He opened his mouth and said, "You're a human,
right? Why do you look like a ghost?"
"Hahaha!" A low laughter ca out of the man's mouth and echoed in the sky. He
opened his arms abruptly and his long hair danced wildly. He said frantically, "Of course,
it's for strength!"
"Pardon for being direct, but I don't think you're very strong." Wang Teng pouted and
replied honestly.
The man in the black gown: ...
His laughter stopped abruptly. He stared at Wang Teng furiously as if he was trying to
see his ability.
Le Yan felt speechless too.
Was this fellow looking down on dark apparitions?

If normal martial warriors saw dark apparitions, they would be on their guards even if
they didn't run away. Yet, he looked down on them.
