Although Ryuji had made it sound like he didn't care, both he and Rias rushed down to the bottom of the cliff. After all, even if the two had died on impact, it was only right to bury them properly.
But as they descended, Ryuji noticed sothing strange.
"Wait a second. I rember there used to be a platform here to prevent falls, right?"
He stared at the now-missing structure. If that platform had still been in place, the girls would have only fallen about twenty ters—not over fifty. They'd probably have survived with minor injuries.
He looked pointedly at Rias.
She avoided his gaze, shifting her head awkwardly to the side.
"Well... I may have taken it out during the last expansion, so… yeah."
She looked a little guilty. After all, she had been the one to dig out this entire area.
"It's not that different from a twenty-ter fall anyway," she added weakly.
Ryuji gave her a look, but just shrugged and offered a small word of reassurance.
"Don't worry about it."
They continued down the slope—and then they saw them.
Two bodies, both twitching faintly.
A fall from nearly a hundred ters wasn't quite enough to reduce soone to pulp, but it ca close. The first woman, the one with the long, beautiful legs and red top, had landed headfirst. Her skull had split open. Brain matter and an eyeball had flown out on impact.
The other woman, the one in the red ninja outfit that Ryuji found oddly familiar, didn't fare much better.
Her body was grotesquely twisted, though it was clear she'd done her best to shift position mid-air. She'd at least managed to keep her head and chest from taking the brunt of the landing.
But her once-toned legs were folded unnaturally in five different places, and she was coughing up blood in thick, violent gurgles. While she wasn't quite dead yet, blood bubbles foad from her throat—barely proving she was still alive.
Was there still hope?
Ryuji instinctively thought not. With injuries like that, the girl's internal organs had to be completely destroyed. Even with top-tier equipnt, saving her would be like trying to patch together a pile of ground at.
But—
"Let see if there's still a chance."
He knelt down beside the girl whose skull had burst open. Although he felt a bit disgusted, he still reached out and felt for her heartbeat.
It was faint—barely there—but it existed. And her fingers were twitching ever so slightly. Normally, though, soone whose brain was splattered all over and whose eyeballs had popped out wouldn't even be considered for resuscitation.
Still, Ryuji quickly pulled a dkit from his inventory and applied it to the girl who, by modern dical standards, was a hopeless case.
And then—sothing miraculous happened.
It was like ti rewound itself. The girl's shattered brain began to knit itself back together. Her missing eyeballs reford in a flash, and the fractured skull returned to its original shape. Her weakly beating heart suddenly surged with vitality. Right before Ryuji's eyes, a full-on dical miracle unfolded.
Lifeless eyes regained focus. Her previously limp body twitched with energy. Her lovely, black-stockinged legs kicked slightly.
"Ah!!"
The girl scread as consciousness returned. She imdiately grabbed her head, patting it frantically, as if trying to confirm it was still attached. The whole scene was bizarrely comical.
Seeing it worked, Ryuji turned to the red-clad ninja woman beside her and used the dkit again.
Just like before, her grotesquely bent legs straightened out as if ti was reversing. Her dull, lifeless eyes sharpened with awareness. Compared to the brain-splattered girl, she was in far better shape.
After a few seconds of dazed blinking, the woman looked at Ryuji, then at Rias, and suddenly dropped to her knees in a deep, traditional dogeza bow.
"A miraculous power… I am Mai Shiranui of the Shiranui style. I offer my deepest thanks for saving my life!"
Her full, bouncing chest moved with her every gesture, drawing Ryuji's attention. He couldn't help it—her figure was just that eye-catching.
And when she said her na, sothing clicked in Ryuji's mind.
Colorful Dreams…coughKing of Fighters!
As he stared at her curvaceous figure, mories of all the fantasies he'd once had about this woman ca flooding back. Now that she stood right before him in the flesh, he had to admit—she was just as amazing as he'd imagined.
"It's no big deal," Ryuji replied calmly. "If you two didn't have such strong will to survive, I wouldn't have made it in ti."
Just then, the revived girl—still checking every inch of her body—finally spoke up.
"Um… I really appreciate you saving , and I'll definitely repay you sohow. But… could soone please explain where we are? And also, why… is my brain still over there?"
Ryuji turned to look at her properly—and only now recognized her clearly.
Twin tails, sleek black stockings, sharp eyes.
Rin Tohsaka?From Fate?Type-Moon?!
With that outfit and those long legs… it really did seem like her. Just like with Rias, the transformation from 2D to 3D made her even more beautiful—but also slightly harder to imdiately recognize.
Still, Ryuji followed her gaze—and sure enough, the splattered brain and stray eyeballs were still on the ground. Even he was at a loss for words for a mont.
Then he rembered: Type-Moon magi were freakishly pragmatic. She might actually be able to use those parts again.
"Well… let's just say my thod of healing is a little strange," he explained. "So yes, those really are yours. If it bothers you, you can put them in this."
He handed her a glass jar.
Rin stared at it, dumbfounded, not quite able to follow Ryuji's logic. But after a mont of hesitation, she bent down and carefully scooped her own brain matter and eyeballs into the jar.
She crushed a gemstone in her hand and used her magic to keep the tissue from decaying, then turned her sharp gaze back to Ryuji and the others.
The red-clad ninja seed to be an ordinary person who had fallen with her.
But this man who saved them… he wasn't normal. He had a strange aura and magical power flowing through him—he had to be an incredibly skilled magus.
And then her eyes landed on Rias.
She instinctively took a step back.
Demonic. An overwhelming demonic presence—a fantasy being that shouldn't even exist in the real world.
Just standing near Rias made Rin's skin crawl. Her magical circuits felt like they weren't functioning properly—as if Rias could crush her without lifting a finger.
What the hell is this place? Rin scread inwardly.
Mai shared that confusion. She'd thought for sure she was a goner—no one could survive injuries like that. But as a trained ninja, her information-gathering instincts were kicking in.
Seeing the wary expressions on both won, Ryuji understood what they were thinking. So he laid out the rules of this world for them, and explained their current situation.
To his surprise, it wasn't the scantily clad, hyper-sexualized Mai who reacted strongest when he ntioned the only way back to your world is by sleeping with . No, it was the prim and proper Rin who suddenly got… analytical.
"Hmm… from a rational perspective, that could be interpreted as a magical mark," she said, staring directly at him. "Using bodily fluids to transfer magical energy and create a ritual... it's not entirely unthinkable."
She paused, then added seriously, "That said, is there truly no other way? If you demand my chastity as paynt for saving … well, it's not impossible. But I'd like to test the validity of your claim before committing to anything."
Her mind had slipped into magus mode—where things like bodies and organs were re tools, exchangeable components in magical rituals. In this mindset, sleeping with him wasn't even degrading—it might actually be her getting a good deal, if it ant access to rare power.
That's what magi were: creatures that looked human, but often weren't.
Still, Ryuji had to admit—this kind of thinking was efficient.
After Rin's cool-headed analysis, Mai finally spoke up as well.
"I… I'm very grateful you saved ," she said, blushing. "But that thod… I…"
For soone dressed so provocatively, Mai's embarrassnt was almost comical. Despite her bold outfit, she was actually quite traditional at heart.
Even the thought of doing sothing intimate with Ryuji—especially if it ant betraying her feelings for Andy—made her shrink back.
Yes, the most revealingly dressed woman of them all was actually a hopeless romantic.
"That's why I said, whether or not you choose that thod is entirely up to you," Ryuji said flatly. "I won't force anything. I'll be around for a while, so if you decide to go that route, you can find . But I won't be here forever. As for repaynt… it's not necessary. We're not that kind of people. If fate allows, maybe soday."
With that, he turned to Rias.
"I'll leave the rest to you, Rias. You handle things from here. I'm not exactly… convenient for this part."
And without another word, Ryuji started walking back up the hill.
"Got it," Rias replied, watching him go.
Rias crossed her arms and nodded. Since she had decided to stay here for a while, she naturally didn't want too many newcors stirring up trouble. So, she began explaining the situation to the two won who had arrived at a rather unfortunate mont.
She also gave them so information about Ryuji.
As for Ryuji himself, he had already lost interest.
Having seen the two won in a state that resembled mangled at, he found it difficult to feel any attraction toward them, no matter how beautiful they were now.
Calmly, he returned to his room and resud practicing the techniques Rosh had taught him, continuing until night had fully fallen.
But late that night, lying on his bed and staring up at the ceiling, he found himself overwheld by loneliness. Unable to resist the feeling, he opened his personal interface.
On it were the portraits of all the won he had been intimate with—even Miss Yellow Rose, whom he had essentially put on a monthly contract, was listed.
She was currently lying at ho, clearly off-duty.
The other won, however…
Tsunade was slumped over a table, clearly drunk.
Seria was humming a tune as she cooked; Rosh's hair could be seen in the corner of her portrait.
Lux was in the middle of a discussion with soone, her face smudged with gri.
And Erina …
She was sitting in silence, lost in thought, her expression full of sorrow.
"Erina…"
Calling out her na softly, Ryuji didn't hesitate. He selected her portrait—and chose to teleport.
