"Uh… what?"
Ryuji was stunned. He stared at Gardevoir's serious expression, at a loss for words. Just as he was about to say sothing, a flash of electricity lit up the air—followed by the crackling sound of iron sand and lightning.
A figure with striking brown hair landed heavily on the ground. Misaka Mikoto.
Her face didn't look much better than his.
Her small chest rose and fell with each breath as she stared at Ryuji, an odd expression on her face.
As for Gardevoir's unsettling suggestion—Mikoto offered her own opinion without hesitation.
"Didn't you say hypnosis could solve the issue too?"
Mikoto's voice was fairly calm as she spoke, her expression still within the bounds of normal.
While she had initially found Rias's explanation about Ryuji's ability unbelievable, she wasn't too shaken. After all, in Academy City, she'd seen her fair share of strange and incomprehensible powers. An ability with a price attached wasn't that unusual to her.
Besides, Rias had ntioned that self-hypnosis was an option. While that wasn't sothing Mikoto was used to, given a week to develop a formula, she could probably design a technique to restrict and regulate the effects on herself.
Her slower estimate was only because she'd never studied hypnosis before. Back in Academy City, a single phone call would've gotten her a formula for hypnotic application via electromagnetic pulses.
Her power wasn't the kind that could be wielded at will. Rather, it relied on precise calculations—the stronger the computational capacity, the more powerful the effect. In her world, power ant sothing, but in a battle between espers, it was always about computation.
Then Gardevoir's cold voice cut through the air.
"I have no interest in hypnotizing myself. I'm a specialist in psychic abilities. My hypnosis is far beyond what you imagine. If I were to use it on myself, I'd need to activate my full ability. And once I do that, I won't be able to undo the aftermath on my own for a long ti."
Her tone was icy, but it made sense. A psychic of her caliber understood the limits and dangers. If her ability were weaker, self-hypnosis might be viable. But her power was too refined. She couldn't guarantee she could break free once ensnared.
As for building in a ntal "switch" or tir? That would prevent the hypnosis from even working.
Being a master of hypnosis ant she was also highly resistant to it—a double-edged sword. Solutions existed, but they required significant ti and preparation, and she wasn't planning to stay here that long.
To her, the most efficient way forward was to rely on Ryuji.
Except… she didn't like humans.
More accurately, she disliked interacting with them.
"Just having one person constantly chasing around trying to 'catch' is annoying enough. I have no desire to form any bonds with humans," she said, raising her hand and pointing it at Ryuji.
"Don't worry. It won't hurt."
In the next instant, Ryuji felt an invisible force seize control of his entire body. Sothing was trying to pierce into him—into his mind and spirit.
But—
"Are you trying to touch soone I care about?"
Rias's arm swept forward, and in an instant, the telekinetic grip on Ryuji vanished. A massive pressure surged toward Gardevoir.
She froze, shocked, as Rias glared at her. The aura around Rias wasn't human, and it told Gardevoir everything she needed to know.
"You're… his Pokémon? That powerful, yet you still allow yourself to be enslaved and ordered around? From your appearance, you must possess high charm stats toward humans—do you like that feeling? Being obedient and controlled? This is just…"
Her voice trailed off in both shock and pity, and a vein visibly twitched on Rias's forehead.
"On the contrary. We're equals. I'm not his slave. We aren't even from the sa world. Don't apply your logic to relationships you don't understand. He and I share a contract, a pact—and he's also my benefactor.
And I'm a devil. Not a Pokémon."
Rias unfolded her wings behind her with a snap, declaring her identity for all to see.
"Ryuji is under no obligation to help us. I hope you understand that. I don't know how your world works, but when you're in mine, you play by my rules."
The surrounding space rippled with her surging demonic energy. Due to the nature of this world, her true power had surpassed most high-class demons. Though she wasn't quite at the level of a Demon King, she was well on her way. Even her older brother would need serious effort to take her on now.
Gardevoir took a step back, overwheld by the pressure, and nodded.
"I understand."
In the jungle, strength reigned supre.
Part of her aversion to humans stemd from how weak they were compared to Pokémon. But faced with a being stronger than herself—Rias—she chose to yield.
After all, while the black hole she had created could technically be called a "black hole," its actual power was… underwhelming. Not all black holes could destroy planets or star systems. In so worlds, a newly born black hole could be snuffed out by a speck of dust.
So, she turned to Ryuji once again.
"I don't want to get pregnant right now. No human–Gardevoir hybrids, please. Are there other options? I heard humans can use their hands. Rias also told about using your mouth."
She looked at Ryuji seriously.
"So, can we start soon? And if we're following a voluntary agreent… can I use telekinesis to assist? I really don't want to touch a human's dirty, fragile body with my hands."
What the hell is wrong with this Gardevoir?! Don't ruin my childhood!
And what kind of smug, haughty little girl trope are you even playing here?!
Ryuji covered his face in exasperation.
He hadn't even convinced himself it was okay to do anything like that with a Pokémon—and here this one was, saying everything without a second thought.
"I don't mind," he sighed. "As long as it doesn't feel bad, whatever. I can't really see myself doing anything with a humanoid creature like you, anyway."
He was being honest. Sure, Gardevoir was beautiful—more seductive and elegant than the ani ever portrayed, especially with those impossibly slender legs and graceful poise.
But that didn't an he was going to do everything! Even he had standards!
"Is that so?" Gardevoir paused, then looked at Rias.
"Can I use charm on him?"
In her simple worldview, if Rias wasn't Ryuji's master, then he must be hers.
Rias looked at her, then at Ryuji, and thought for a mont before nodding.
"That's up to him. But you'd better explain all the side effects first."
She turned to Ryuji, serious.
"So? Do you still want to help her? Even if you refuse, no one will bla you. That thing barely resembles a human, and with here, no one can force you. Honestly, the number of conditions she's throwing around is disgraceful."
Rias didn't hide her dislike for Gardevoir's arrogant, self-centered behavior.
Gardevoir's expression stiffened. She lived by the rule of the strong, but she also knew when she'd gone too far. If Ryuji refused her now…
Her tone softened imdiately.
"Do you… need anything in return? I can hypnotize other humans for you. I can help you earn the affection of many beautiful human females."
As soon as she said that, every girl nearby imdiately glared at Gardevoir with intense suspicion.
Not at Ryuji—but at her.
Because compared to Gardevoir, they trusted polite, decent Ryuji far more.
He groaned and clutched his face.
"Please stop… You're destroying everything I once loved about Pokémon…"
His mind still associated Pokémon with Pikachu. Just the thought of doing things with a Pokémon made him feel like he was about to defile Pikachu—and that was just too weird.
Off to the side, Mikoto nodded. She'd initially thought Gardevoir was kind of cute, but now she seed more like that manipulative, rotten personality type—like Misaki Shokuhou.
"Anyway, maybe skip the charm part. I'll try my best," Ryuji muttered.
"..."
Gardevoir said nothing more. Seeing no objection from Ryuji, she simply extended her hand.
"Then, let us begin."
The next mont, Ryuji felt his dick—gripped by an invisible force!
It was incredibly gentle, molding to his shape like nothing else could. Not even the tightest woman could match this fit!
And yet, it felt like he was touching air. His sense of touch told him he was surrounded by nothing but empty space… but it felt soft and warm.
Gardevoir lifted her chin with pride.
"If it's just like this, we don't even need to touch, right?"
