Luis had already predicted this reaction from her. So he was still calm as he put the cutlery back and said, "No, I didn’t lie. Rather, I love it. That’s why I’m eating it."
Alicia was taken aback for a mont. Thinking carefully, it was indeed as he said, even if the food she cooked was a little disgusting, Luis ate everything with a smile and never complained a word.

After seeing the smirk full of schadenfreude on Ronald’s face, he understood this was just a setup by him and his revenge. ’Dad, I’ll get you for this soday.’ He shot him in a glare. ’Now, I need to think of a solution fast.’
However, Lumine and David didn’t allow him the needed ti to think, as they also seed to realise their negligence and observed Luis with scrutiny. Next mont, their faces darkened.

After sensing the slight mana fluctuations just as Ronald said, they didn’t need a hint to realise what happened.
"You used space magic to make the food disappear from your mouth, right?" Lumine said through gritted teeth. "Good son! I didn’t realise you could be so scheming towards your dear mother."
"Listen to , Mom. It’s not what you think." Luis panicked and tried to explain, but Lumine cut his words short. "I don’t need any explanation. You’d better answer Alicia first."
Luis’ heart skipped as he lifted his head chanically to et her gaze. Sure enough, Alicia was already staring at him with a piercing gaze, with a cold sneer at the corner of her mouth. She said, "Follow to the training ground."
"Alicia, I—"
"I want to try out my new moves. Won’t you be my sparring partner, husband?"

Normally, he would be overjoyed upon hearing her call him husband. But at this mont, there was no joy. Only dread.

While the beautiful sky above Tryston City was painted in the red hue of the setting sun.
In the Training Grounds of the Suarez Estate, Luis’ handso pale face was now also painted with the natural blend of blue and purple.

"Besides what?" Alicia asked, as she bit her lower lip. Her eyes were full of love and distress.
Luis continued with a faint smile, though with all the swellings on his face, it looked kind of silly. "Besides, I kind of was expecting a beautiful date. As it turned out, it ended up being the most morable day for ."
His words made Alicia’s heart blossom with joy; then her face burned red with shyness as she scolded with a soft smile. "You idiot! This isn’t the right place to talk about that." Her tone was coquettish.
David felt a little complicated looking at his daughter and son-in-law. He was happy that his daughter was happy, but thinking that it was because of this boy, he felt sad.
Ronald and Lumine looked at each other. Both saw the sa shock and speechlessness in each other’s eyes.
’How is he so good at handling Alicia? Shouldn’t they be in conflict for a while before they can make up? Just what happened yesterday?’
Lumine felt annoyed that the little drama was over, but when she thought that there was still so gossip to extract from Alicia. Her heart, full of gossip, burned with passion.
She glanced at Ronald and signalled him to take Luis away. After all, she wanted to have a good chat with her dear daughter-in-law.
Ronald nodded with a sigh and spoke up. "Alicia, the recovery potion should do the rest of the work. You go back to the mansion with Lumine. Your dad and I have sothing to talk about with Luis."
Alicia nodded, then showed slight hesitation and said, "Uncle Ronald, Dad, although Luis was a little mischievous and made you eat my cooking. Please don’t be angry about it. I apologize for that."
David’s brows twitched, thinking his daughter was already siding with Luis, even before their marriage.
’When did I ever say I was angry? Does she think we would beat him after she leaves?’
’Although I want to. She should have a little trust in her father, right?’
Ronald forced a reassuring smile. "Don’t worry, Alicia, we are not angry. You have already taught him a lesson on our behalf. We just have to talk about so important matters."

Lumine shook her head, seeing this, thinking this girl is completely infatuated with that brat.
’Forget it, she is my daughter-in-law after all. I should be happy.’
