The next day, Rebecca woke up early.

Having had a rare, comfortable sleep, she stretched lazily and slowly walked out, dragging her now less painful foot.

Rebecca had only intended to watch the sunrise over the sea, but she unexpectedly found Howard Geoffrey swimming in the water.

Despite knowing Howard Geoffrey for many years, Rebecca had never known he could swim. She found herself entranced watching him.

Rebecca was thinking of going back to her room for a while. Just as she turned around, she heard Howard Geoffrey’s phone ringing.

Rebecca looked over and saw that Howard Geoffrey had already taken out his phone.

However, Howard Geoffrey rely glanced at the screen before imdiately pressing the hang-up button.

Rebecca walked to Howard Geoffrey’s side and curiously asked, "Was that Miss Quinn calling?"

Howard Geoffrey didn’t answer, tacitly affirming it.

Rebecca imdiately said, "I’m sorry, I forgot to tell you sothing... That morning, after our ti at the hotel, Miss Quinn called you early. I was groggy and thought it was my phone, so I picked it up. Miss Quinn might have heard my voice and gotten the wrong idea... I heard from Roger that your relationship with her has been having so problems lately. "There’s no need. No explanation is necessary between us." With that simple statent, Howard Geoffrey walked away.

During her shower, Rebecca was very careful with the plastic bag on her foot. However, as she stepped out of the shower stall to get her clothes, she montarily forgot about it, slipped, and fell painfully to the floor.

Hearing the commotion in the bathroom, Howard Geoffrey rushed in.

Seeing her pained expression, he imdiately lifted her up and swiftly placed her on the bed.

Rebecca was in so much pain she kept rubbing the back of her head...

Howard Geoffrey patted her face and asked, "Can you hear ?"

Rebecca nodded.

Howard Geoffrey asked again, "Can you see ?"

Rebecca stopped rubbing the bump on her head for a mont and nodded again.

Seeing she was all right, Howard Geoffrey visibly sighed in relief. He was about to scold Rebecca, but then he noticed the plastic bag on her foot. His tone shifted to one of cool indifference as he said, "Be careful next ti you shower. You can ask a maid to help you."

Rebecca nodded and lowered her gaze to check her injured foot, only to suddenly realize she was completely nude!

She was instantly so mortified she wished the earth would swallow her whole. As she was about to grab the quilt to cover herself, she realized Howard Geoffrey’s gaze had landed squarely on her chest.
