「Two years later.」
In a luxurious mansion occupying 4,000 square ters, a young woman, dressed in a lotus-colored chiffon blouse and looking exceedingly poised and elegant, sat leisurely on a garden bench, engrossed in the book in her hand. She exuded an air of quiet serenity and composure, appearing utterly captivating from a distance.
"Madam."
The respectful voice of a maid sounded.
The young woman didn’t look up. Still focused on her book, she asked, "What is it?"
"The Master is back."
At the ntion of "Master," the young woman slowly raised her eyes. "Is he ho?" she asked calmly. She had thought he wasn’t due back for another two days.
"The Master has just disembarked," the maid replied. "He’ll probably be ho in about an hour."
The young woman nodded slightly. "I see."
The maid then took her leave.
After the maid left, the young woman closed her book, lost in her own thoughts.
He was back after a business trip of just over ten days. Ti really did fly... Just like that, they had been married for two years.
Marriage. Such a sacred word. Yet, she could recall so few details of their wedding...

In her panic, she had blurted out an excuse, "I’m sorry, I... I’ve never thought about doing... this sort of thing with the lights on..."

He had scooped her up from the sofa from behind with both hands, a smirk playing on his lips. "We’re husband and wife. You should get used to this little quirk of your husband’s."
