The white shirt she wore today surprisingly had a button undone at the most critical spot on her chest, and Howard Geoffrey, from his current position, happened to see her black lingerie inside.

Rebecca Quentin hurriedly fastened the loose button on her bra, her face full of embarrassnt.
Howard Geoffrey pretended to remain calm as he continued helping her fasten the seatbelt, then started the car.
"Where are we going?"
Howard Geoffrey looked straight ahead, "Taking you to a beautiful place."
Rebecca Quentin beca anxious at once, "You only said it would take a few minutes."
Howard Geoffrey replied at his own pace, "Oh, maybe my few minutes and your few minutes are a bit different."
"How can you be like this?" Rebecca Quentin was furious.
"Be good, it’ll take just an hour to reach the destination. You can either complain to in the car, and I’ll pretend not to hear you, or quiet down and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way."
"Don’t expect to deceive like this next ti!!" Rebecca Quentin turned her head angrily to look out the window.
Howard Geoffrey smiled knowingly.
The car gradually fell into silence, in the confined space, this quietness almost allowed them to hear each other’s breathing.
It had been a long ti since she had been in such close proximity with him in the sa space; his scent hadn’t changed at all, still subtly pleasant, retaining that bit of familiarity.
"How can I make you not resent ?"
Suddenly, Howard Geoffrey’s soft, distant, hoarse voice broke the silence inside the car.
Rebecca Quentin vaguely heard Howard Geoffrey’s voice but didn’t hear clearly what he said, nor did she respond.
The car cabin returned to its silence once more.
Rebecca Quentin kept absentmindedly looking at the scenery along the way until the car ca to a stop, and it was only then that she realized he had brought her to a stunning beach.
Howard Geoffrey softly said, "We’re here."
Rebecca Quentin unfastened her seatbelt and got out of the car first.
What t her eyes was the beautiful scene of blue skies and azure seas, the horizon blending sky and water.
Standing on the soft sand, Rebecca Quentin could hardly believe everything in front of her.
This sea is truly beautiful...
The endless blue sea, the salty and moist air of the seawater, the delicate white beach, and the various rocks along the shore.
Its beauty lay in a sense of isolation from the rest of the world, as if it had never been disturbed, everything looked so natural.
This feeling was just like once on that island...
Howard Geoffrey had at so point co to stand by Rebecca Quentin’s side and spoke gently, "Do you like it here?"
The sudden voice pulled Rebecca Quentin back from her mories of the island, reminding her that all the bits and pieces on the island with him were ticulously orchestrated by him, she couldn’t help but feel a touch of anger and heartache. Rebecca Quentin spun around and coldly said, "No, I don’t like it!!" then strode away.
As Rebecca Quentin was about to leave, Howard Geoffrey aptly caught her hand...
Rebecca Quentin was forced to stop. Just as she was about to lose her temper, Howard Geoffrey suddenly tightened his arm, pulling her into his embrace.
"Hey..."
Before Rebecca Quentin could struggle, Howard Geoffrey had already locked her against his firm chest, leaving her no room to move, being compelled to remain in his arms.
His head rested on her shoulder, and suddenly he softly uttered, "Becca, can we start over again?"
Hearing him say this without any warning, Rebecca Quentin’s body slightly trembled, but in the next second, she was vigorously struggling in his arms, her words unrelentingly sharp, "Impossible."
Howard Geoffrey gently kissed Rebecca Quentin on the cheek, his low, hoarse voice mixed with a hint of dejection, "Becca, if in this lifeti, you want to get rid of the hatred I have for your parents, I can’t do it, but as for you, I’m even more helpless."
"Stop saying these things to anymore..." Once, she easily imrsed herself in the gentle traps he set, again and again getting hurt by him, now Rebecca Quentin felt no more moved, only thoroughly realized the pain he had caused, understanding it was deep and severe enough for a lifeti.
Howard Geoffrey didn’t say another word, only continued to hold Rebecca Quentin tightly.
Unable to break free from him, Rebecca Quentin helplessly swung her fists against Howard Geoffrey’s strong back without caring about the strength of her blows.
