After planting a kiss on Rebecca Quentin’s face, Howard Geoffrey subsequently left.
Rebecca Quentin turned around and watched the back of Howard Geoffrey as he departed, her gaze gradually dimming.
Suddenly, she returned to the room, staring unblinkingly at the innocent and pure sleeping face of the child, as her eyes inexplicably reddened.

Rebecca Quentin was just about to reply when Andrew woke up crying from his sleep.
Without having ti to reply to the ssage, Rebecca Quentin picked up Andrew from the bed, gently soothing, "There, there, baby, don’t cry..."
Feeding Andrew, changing his wet pants, playing with him for a while, and coaxing him to sleep... this whole ordeal took Rebecca Quentin a full two hours.
Once the child was asleep, Rebecca Quentin picked up her phone again and replied to the ssage — Are you still there? I can co over now.
Andrew usually can sleep for two or three hours, so she should have no problem going out for a bit. Besides, she would bring the baby monitor, so she could know if the baby woke up anyti. The key point is XX Cafe is quite close to here. Their conversation shouldn’t take long, so she could return quickly.
Rebecca Quentin waited with her phone for a long ti but still didn’t receive any reply, and finally, she decided to head to Aye Cafe.
Bringing the baby monitor and locking the apartnt door, Rebecca Quentin walked out of the apartnt building on her own.

There wasn’t even a coffee on Howard Geoffrey’s table, suggesting he must have just arrived...
Seeing this scene, she imdiately retreated to the corner, where a potted plant and a semi-transparent hollow glass wall easily concealed her.
At this mont, Howard Geoffrey rested against the chair back, his gaze on Alice Robinson, with his consistently cool and handso face revealing no emotions.

I didn’t want to affect your life with Rebecca Quentin!"
Howard Geoffrey’s brows slightly furrowed as if pondering, but he didn’t respond to Alice Robinson.
Alice Robinson choked out, "I originally planned to keep my pregnancy hidden, but who would have thought that this morning I felt very uncomfortable in my stomach. After hearing what Alice Robinson said, Howard Geoffrey extinguished the cigarette butt, coolly asked, "How do you plan to handle it?"
Alice Robinson gently exhaled, "I’ve already thought about it... I won’t create trouble for you. In a few days, when I feel better, I will go to the hospital to terminate the pregnancy."
Though Alice Robinson suppressed it well, she couldn’t hide her sadness and loss.
At this mont, Howard Geoffrey stood up without saying more to Alice Robinson. He buttoned up his suit and left straight away.
Watching Howard Geoffrey’s car leave, only then did Rebecca Quentin walk out of the cafe.
