Alice took the initiative to stand up and greet, "Hello, Mr. Lewis, I’m Alice."

"Howard, I thought you wouldn’t be able to make it..." Nelson Lewis said as he sat down, raising a glass to clink with Howard Geoffrey.
Howard Geoffrey clinked glasses with Nelson Lewis, smiling faintly, "Nothing is more important than attending Roger’s wedding."
Theresa apologized, "Nelson and I wanted to co earlier, but Mickey had a sudden fever last night, I was worried all night, we only ca after his fever subsided..."
"I’m sure General Leonard won’t bla you." Alice said considerately.
Theresa turned her gaze to Alice, "Miss Robinson, you must be about three months pregnant by now?"
Alice answered sweetly, "Hmm, almost four months."
"Do you know if it’s a boy or girl?"
"I had a check-up recently, the doctor said it looks like a girl, but it’s not certain, developing very healthily."
Theresa smiled, "If you have a daughter, Howard would be very happy... he’s always liked girls."
"I hope so too." Alice nodded shyly.

As the doctor and nurse helped Rebecca Quentin onto the bed, preparing for the check-up, the doctor’s gaze suddenly froze, "It’s you!"
Rebecca Quentin, groggy, looked at the doctor, seemingly recognizing him too, unable to say anything before falling unconscious.
Rebecca Quentin slowly opened her eyes, staring blankly at the white ceiling of the hospital room.
"You’re awake."
A steady male voice ca.
Rebecca Quentin, slightly weak, glanced at the doctor standing by the bed.
The nurse placed a pillow behind Rebecca Quentin’s back, helping her slowly sit up, leaning against the headboard.
"You’re Alice’s brother, I thought you were working in New York."
Wearing a white gown, Chester Robinson answered, "My surna is Robinson, single na ’Chester.’ I’m an obstetrician-gynecologist. I ca to work in T City because my hospital offered an overseas learning opportunity this year, and I’ve always been interested in T City, China, so I chose to co here."
