Sitting in the car, Rebecca Quentin gently stroked her belly and looked serenely at Howard Geoffrey, "Honey, I feel so lucky that we can have two children. If the child I’m carrying is a girl, I would be overjoyed."
Howard Geoffrey took Rebecca Quentin’s hand as he drove out of the villa, saying, "As long as it’s our child, whether boy or girl, I will love them."
"Huh, don’t you like daughters more?"
Howard Geoffrey chuckled, "Silly, the baby’s gender is already determined in the womb, it can’t change..."
"I know, but I have a feeling that I’m carrying a girl."
"Why do I have the exact opposite feeling?"
Rebecca Quentin exclaid, "Ah?"
Howard Geoffrey glanced at Rebecca Quentin through the rearview mirror and laughed, "What, afraid it’s another boy?"
"No, I..." Pausing for a mont, Rebecca Quentin quickly explained, "I’m like you, I love both boys and girls."
Howard Geoffrey lifted Rebecca Quentin’s hand and gently kissed it, "You’ve worked hard, sweetheart."
These past few days by her side, he witnessed her suffering from morning sickness, often feeling distressed. As he thought about her body swelling more and more with each passing month, and the sleepless nights to co, he genuinely felt that won have it so tough bearing a child. "When I gave birth to Andrew, I was really scared, so I thought I’d never have kids again. The car stopped at the entrance of the civil affairs bureau, and Howard Geoffrey got out to open the car door for Rebecca Quentin.
Just as Rebecca Quentin was about to reach out for Howard Geoffrey’s extended hand, her phone rang inside her bag.
Rebecca Quentin took her phone out of her bag. Seeing the number displayed on the screen, she hooked arms with Howard Geoffrey, walked into the civil affairs bureau, and smiled, "Hello, sis..."
"Rebecca, are you alone now?"
"No, I’m with Howard Geoffrey. We’re at the civil affairs bureau."
"Civil affairs bureau?" Christine Quinn’s startled tone was clearly a bit unusual.
Rebecca Quentin, in high spirits, didn’t notice Christine Quinn’s unusual tone. She raised her eyes and gazed deeply at Howard Geoffrey, continuing to smile sweetly, "Sis, Howard and I are registering."

Rebecca Quentin chuckled, "Why are you saying ’sorry’ to ?"
Christine Quinn’s voice returned to normal, "It’s nothing... By the way, did you see the video I sent you just now?"
"My phone was in my bag, so I didn’t notice it..."
"Then take a look at it now!"
"Okay."
Rebecca Quentin temporarily ended the call, opened her phone’s inbox with a puzzled expression, and saw an unread ssage displayed on it.
