Rebecca Quentin was completely at a loss with the situation before her. Bewildered, she let the servants guide her towards the villa behind. But no one expected Skyler Jones’s voice to echo so mournfully from behind her frail back, "Becca, Howard Geoffrey has deceived you, he’s deceived you for five whole years!"
Upon hearing what Skyler said, Rebecca Quentin’s body jolted heavily. She turned around suddenly, her brow furrowed even deeper, confusion spreading wider in her gaze.
Howard Geoffrey had clearly been pushed to his limits. The rarely seen fury surged in his dark eyes, squinting as treacherous and dangerous light shot from them. He restrained himself and spat, "Skyler Jones!"
Skyler also glared fiercely at Howard, gritting his teeth as he exclaid, "You are not worthy of her!!!"
Rebecca stood rooted in place, utterly clueless about the impending clash between the two brothers. Yet, the words repeatedly emphasized by Skyler made her whole face scrunch up.
Mrs. Geoffrey ca out after hearing the report from the servants...
At a glance, she saw the ruthless glare exchanged by the two brothers, and her body instantly went limp, almost falling backward. Fortunately, a servant caught her just in ti, "Madam..."
The servant’s tense cry slightly interrupted the dangerous tension about to erupt.
"Mom..." Howard imdiately went to Mrs. Geoffrey’s side to support her.
Mrs. Geoffrey gazed at Skyler with a lingering lancholy voice, "Skyler, you’re back, why didn’t you co and see first..."
Skyler’s expression was cold, yet a faint soft glow erged in his eyes.
"Mom, are you okay?"
Rebecca was also nervously supporting Mrs. Geoffrey at this mont, asking worriedly.
Rebecca’s casual "Mom" inadvertently triggered Skyler, and the jealousy within him erupted like volcanic magma. Thinking of his endurance resulting in Rebecca’s deep-rooted feelings for Howard, his heart grew increasingly restless.
Supported by Rebecca, Mrs. Geoffrey held her forehead, "I’m fine, just a bit of a headache..."
Rebecca expressed concern, "Then let help you inside to rest for a bit!"
Mrs. Geoffrey gently nodded, "Mm."
Fearing for Mrs. Geoffrey’s health, Rebecca temporarily forgot about the dispute between Skyler and Howard, helping Mrs. Geoffrey back towards the villa.
"Enough!!"
A voice, as if suppressing overwhelming anger, rang out loudly.
Mrs. Geoffrey and Rebecca both trembled.
"Evelyn Geoffrey, stop pretending to cover for your younger son!!"
Nobody expected the elder son to call her by na, and Mrs. Geoffrey trembled heavily again in Rebecca’s grasp.
Rebecca was once again shocked by Skyler’s words and finally began to take them seriously.
Skyler, with gritted teeth and suppressed emotion, said, "After all these years, is it only your younger son you care about in your eyes?" Skyler suddenly laughed bitterly at the sky, "Are you afraid that if I and Becca reveal the truth, Howard won’t be able to stay with Becca anymore? My dear mother, you know your two sons well. You should be aware, compared to Howard’s regard for Becca, mine surpasses his a thousand tis. I am the one who can bring Becca happiness, while Howard simply does not deserve her!!"
Skyler’s sharp sarcasm turned Mrs. Geoffrey’s already pale face even more ashen...
Mrs. Geoffrey murmured painfully, "Skyler..."
A hint of hurt flashed in Skyler’s eyes, but the solitude and coldness built over thirty-so years had forged a heart impervious to pain. His eyes disdainfully slid over his mother’s sorrowful face, and suddenly, taking three steps as two, he moved beside Rebecca, forcibly separating her from Mrs. Geoffrey’s hand, coldly saying, "Becca, co with !"
Suddenly pulled towards his car by Skyler, Rebecca, unable to grasp the situation, resisted saying, "Mr. Jones, you’re hurting , let go..."
Her wrist was gripped painfully by Skyler, his forceful hold leaving her no room to retreat.
A maid had already stepped forward nervously supporting Rebecca, admonishing Skyler, "Please let go of Miss Quentin, your rough handling is harming her."
Skyler did not release his grip, coldly ordering Rebecca, "Get in the car!"
Rebecca forcefully flicked away Skyler’s hand, complaining, "You’re hurting so much..."
Noticing Rebecca’s wrist had turned red and blue from his grasp, Skyler ceased touching her, and the anger in his eyes softened due to tenderness. He apologized, "Sorry, I just..."
"You just need to leave here!!"
Howard’s voice ca coldly. When Skyler turned his gaze towards Howard, Howard’s hand was already around Rebecca’s slender waist.
The comforting scent of Howard rushed into Rebecca’s nose, instantly filling her, startled by Skyler, with a sense of security. She looked at Skyler, puzzled, and asked, "Mr. Jones, I always thought you were calm and generous, but today, your attitude disappoints ." Rebecca was convinced that Skyler was trying to stop her from being with Howard, hence the hint of anger in her voice.
Skyler called hoarsely, "Becca..."
"Mr. Jones, I told you before, even if I’m not with Howard, it’s impossible for to be with you, I..."
Skyler, enduring the heartache, interrupted Rebecca, stubbornly saying, "Becca, do you really think you’ve chosen the right person in this life?"
Ignoring Skyler’s words, Howard, holding Rebecca, turned directly, "Becca, let’s go back..."
"Howard, you sched against Vivian Lindsey, forced Alexander Quentin to his death, and for seven years you have only vented and used Becca. What right do you have to be with her?"
Finally, Skyler’s roar of angry, hoarse voice left everyone present in stunned silence.

As these words reached Rebecca’s ears, the shock was akin to thunder exploding in her mind, leaving her head buzzing and instantly blank.
"Skyler Jones!!"
Howard roared, fists clenched, self-control on the verge of crumbling.
As Rebecca’s senses returned, her face had turned pale. She stared at Skyler in astonishnt, murmuring, "What are you saying, what plot, what forcing to death..."
"Becca, five years ago, your father’s death was sheer desperation because soone drove him to a dead end at that ti!!"
Rebecca shook her head blankly, pupils widening in shock, incredulous.
"Do you know when Howard dealt with your mother, why did he have Christine Quinn send you a video about your father’s cause of death? Because he wanted to test your reaction, he wanted to know how important your father really was to you. The result was that you were willing to give up your relationship with him for your father, so he panicked, afraid..."
