Chester Robinson gently placed his hands on Alice Robinson’s shoulders and softly said, "Do you want to watch as you are with Howard Geoffrey?"

Alice Robinson spoke bitterly, "I told you, I love him. I want to marry him in this life..."

"No." Alice Robinson shook her head forcefully, "He’s been very good to for the past six months, he even promised to go to France with tomorrow for my uncle’s sixtieth birthday banquet."

"How far will you go in deceiving yourself?" Chester Robinson sneered, "The woman he cares about has never been you!!"

"Are you referring to Rebecca Quentin?" Alice Robinson laughed coldly, "In the past six months, I’ve been with him almost every day; he hasn’t contacted Rebecca Quentin at all, he’s over her!"

Chester Robinson questioned, "Do you really believe it’s over?"

Alice Robinson replied confidently, "Yes."

Chester Robinson laughed coldly, "Alright, let’s conduct a little experint then..."

To her surprise, it was Chester Robinson!

Rebecca Quentin joyfully called out, "Doctor Robinson?"

Chester Robinson kept his usual gentle smile, "I hope I’m not disturbing you too late?"

Rebecca Quentin shook her head quickly, "No, I’m not asleep yet... How co you’re in New York?"

"I took leave from the hospital, ca to New York specially to find you."

"Find ?"

Chester Robinson looked at Rebecca Quentin’s surprised expression and smiled, "Aren’t you inviting in?"

Rebecca Quentin awkwardly said, "Uh, please co in."

Chester Robinson followed her into the room.

Noticing a computer on the table by the window, Chester Robinson asked with concern, "Working so late?"

"Yes, quite busy."

Chester Robinson sat down on the sofa.

Rebecca Quentin handed him a drink and then sat opposite him, asking seriously, "You said you ca to find specially, what do you an?"

"Yeah, I ca specifically to ask for your help."

Rebecca Quentin puzzled, "What help requires you to fly to New York specifically to find ? Also, how did you know I’m staying at this hotel?"

"It’s not hard to find which hotel you’re staying at. As for the help I need, it’s actually quite simple..."

"Hmm, go on."

"In a couple of days, it’s my uncle’s birthday. He’s hosting a family gathering, so tomorrow I’m flying to France to help him celebrate... "Are you worried my uncle will recognize you?"

"Whether he recognizes , I don’t know. But, he is Alice Robinson’s uncle; I believe Alice Robinson wouldn’t want to see at such an event."

When she was with Howard Geoffrey, she hadn’t encountered Robinson, so his mory of her might be very vague, mostly remaining from when she worked with Skyler Jones. Therefore, she wasn’t afraid of Robinson recognizing her; but, given the setting, being a lover and having previously been a rival to Alice Robinson, she was indeed unsuitable.
