Lying on the large hotel bed, curled up with her back facing soone, Becca stared with reddened eyes, remaining silent.
Geoffrey was behind her, his hand resting on her waist, and after a long mont, he turned her around, observing Becca’s tight-lipped expression, reaching out to touch her.
Becca turned her head away.
Geoffrey imdiately chuckled softly, pressing his chin against Becca’s tiny head, pulling her into his embrace, "We’ve already done it, and you bla for breaking my promise?"
Becca bit her lip in sha and anger.
Geoffrey lowered his head and gave her a fond peck, "Don’t be mad."
Becca promptly turned her face away once more.
Geoffrey cupped Becca’s face, making her look at him, speaking gently, "Tonight I was indeed tired..."
Hearing the word "tired," Becca glared at him.
Geoffrey laughed lightly, "I wasn’t finished speaking."
Becca’s gaze remained intense.
"Originally, I planned to recuperate and then get going this morning..."
God, "recuperate..."
After gritting her teeth for a while, Becca spat out, "Pervert!!"
Geoffrey proactively ignored Becca’s ntion of "pervert," and continued, "But sleeping while just holding you all night is really torturous..."
He could still say it so innocently?
Becca glared even harder at Geoffrey.
Geoffrey maintained a gentle expression, "Do you know what my wish has been for quite so ti now?"
Becca shifted her gaze away from him, showing little interest.
"We’ve known each other for so many years, and I can scarcely rember the tis you were proactive. Naturally, it’s not your fault; it’s because we have so many insurmountable obstacles between us... Later, I wanted to ensure that, when we’re finally okay, you would serve once. But even till today, it hasn’t co to fruition."
After Geoffrey spoke thus, Becca distinctly felt her freshly showered, cool cheeks heating up swiftly.
Geoffrey, observing Becca’s flushed cheeks, suddenly whispered in her ear, "When will you help fulfill this wish?"
Becca imdiately reached out to slap Geoffrey’s handso face.
She didn’t hit hard; her hand was caught by Geoffrey, "I’m talking seriously."
Becca indignantly retracted her hand, "This... is this a serious topic?"
Seeing Becca finally willing to speak to him, Geoffrey flipped over onto her, smiling, "Now willing to acknowledge ?"
Only then did Becca realize Geoffrey was purposely teasing her, and she angrily swung her fists at his back.
As she punched, Geoffrey gave a muffled groan and said, "Go easy..."
Upon hearing Geoffrey’s groan of apparent pain, Becca gradually eased her movents.
Geoffrey grabbed Becca’s hand and placed it on his back, lants spilling out, "All bruised."
Her fingertips felt the scratches on his back, and Becca’s cheeks instantly turned crimson, snapping, "You brought this on yourself."
She hadn’t expected, in the end, she’d leave such deep marks on his back...
As Becca harbored a guilty conscience, Geoffrey bent down to steal a kiss from her lips, bluntly said, "But I like it."
After scolding him, Becca felt her face was burning, nearly beyond redemption, so she burrowed her head into the blanket.
Geoffrey wore a mischievous smile, knowing her thin skin, and refrained from further teasing, speaking through the blanket, "The day is about to break, have a good sleep!"
Becca did not respond.
Geoffrey kissed Becca through the blanket, then lay down beside her, drawing her into his embrace.
Sunlight stread into the room through the heavy curtains...
Becca, resembling a kitten, cuddled into the warm embrace. Due to the light, she stirred, letting out a soft moan as she awakened from the dream.
Upon opening her eyes, the first thing she saw was the exceedingly handso face of the man beside her, and images from last night imdiately flashed in her mind.
Her face involuntarily blushed, she clutched the blanket, carefully sitting up.
She wasn’t afraid of waking the person beside her; she was afraid of the awkwardness...
Clutching the blanket, she moved to the edge of the bed, looked at the light streaming in through the window, and cautiously retrieved her purse from the nightstand on his side.
Taking out her phone from the purse, she wanted to check the ti, only to find the phone was off.
