Rebecca Quentin didn’t snap out of it until long after Alice Robinson left, and she walked out of the hotel in a daze.
The family driver had been waiting in the hotel’s parking lot all this ti. She got into the car, holding the docunts, her expression sowhat blank.
This morning, when Howard Geoffrey left, he told her that he needed to return to "Skytop" to handle so matters. She was initially hesitant about whether to call him and go ho with him, but she hadn’t expected to encounter him at the "Palace" hotel.
She admitted that the scene she just saw clearly showed Alice Robinson clinging to him while he was indifferent. But why did he co to the hotel to et Alice Robinson? And when Alice Robinson, with tears in her eyes, hugged him, why didn’t he refuse?
A bitter taste crept into her heart.
Rebecca Quentin leaned back in her seat, her face slightly pale.
The driver noticed Rebecca Quentin’s unusual pallor through the rearview mirror and asked with concern, "Miss Quentin, are you feeling unwell?"
Rebecca Quentin sat up straight and replied calmly, "No, I’m just tired."
The driver smiled, "Then you should take a nap. I’ll wake you when we get ho."
"Alright."
Just as Rebecca Quentin closed her eyes, the driver suddenly cursed, making a sharp turn.
Rebecca Quentin, off balance, lurched forward, her head hitting the seat in front.
Hearing Rebecca Quentin’s cry of pain, the driver quickly parked the car on the side and jumped out, nervously running to the backseat to ask, "Miss Quentin, are you alright?"
Rebecca Quentin rubbed her aching forehead and shook her head, "I’m okay."
Seeing the bump on Rebecca Quentin’s forehead, the driver kept apologizing, "I’m sorry, Miss Quentin. A car suddenly drove straight at us, and I had to swerve..."
"It’s fine, I’m not hurt..." Rebecca Quentin rubbed her forehead again. As the pain subsided, she said, "Let’s continue driving ho!"
"I’m sorry, Miss Quentin, I’m so sorry..." The driver apologized several more tis before returning to his seat.
As the car smoothly drove down the road, Rebecca Quentin noticed that the docunt she had placed on the seat had flown out of its folder and scattered on the floor mat due to the driver’s sudden turn and braking.
Rebecca Quentin picked up the docunts and sorted them out, not intending to read them. However, as she organized them, her eyes unintentionally caught a glimpse of one sheet.
Her eyes widened in surprise, and she pulled that particular docunt out.
The docunts were indeed Chester Robinson’s background information, and the reason she noticed this particular sheet was because of the sensitive English letters "QCS" printed on it.
Holding this docunt, Rebecca Quentin scanned through it from start to end.
Suddenly, her gaze stopped on the line stating the legal representative of "QCS," and the prominent na "Chester Robinson" lay in that column.
Rebecca Quentin looked at the docunt incredulously.
The legal representative of "QCS" is Chester Robinson, which ans Chester Robinson is the highest decision-maker of "QCS," thus Chester Robinson should be the owner of "QCS."

Rebecca Quentin leaned back in her seat, gasping.

After joining "QCS," everything went smoothly, and Manager Smith took special care of her.
