"Mommy..."
A childish voice suddenly called out.
Rebecca Quentin quickly got up and went to open the door, where the little one was holding a remote-controlled car, looking at her with sleepy eyes.
Rebecca picked up Andrew and kissed him, "Why are you awake already?"
The maid beside them said, "As soon as Young Master woke up, he wanted to find you... so I dressed him."
"So, my little darling misses mommy..."
Andrew dropped the remote-controlled car and leaned against Rebecca’s shoulder.
The child’s dependence made Rebecca feel a warm flow in her heart, warming her up after a cold night.
She gently patted Andrew and carried him into the room, saying softly, "Be good, it’s still very early, rest on mommy’s shoulder for a while."
Andrew had already obediently closed his eyes and then suddenly opened them, asking, "Mommy, where’s Daddy?"
"Daddy... he went to the company last night, you know, daddy has to earn a lot of money so Andrew can buy many toys, and mommy can buy pretty clothes..."
"Daddy works really hard, I’ll also earn a lot of money in the future so I can take care of daddy and mommy."
Rebecca reassuringly kissed Andrew’s innocent little face, "Mm..."
"Mr. Geoffrey."
Rebecca had just placed the sleeping Andrew on her bed when she heard the maid’s respectful greeting.
Rebecca tucked Andrew in, looked towards the door, and her gaze t that of Howard Geoffrey walking into the room.
Rebecca quickly gestured to Howard for silence, indicating not to wake the little wimpy kid sleeping on the bed.
Howard lightened his steps and ca before Rebecca, his gaze falling onto the adorable sleeping face of the little guy on the bed, asking, "He slept in your room last night?"
Rebecca shook her head, "The maid said he wanted as soon as he woke up, so she brought him here."
Howard softly replied, "Mm," then his peripheral vision suddenly noticed the two large travel bags by the bed, "This is..."
Rebecca didn’t wait for Howard to finish asking and excitedly pulled Howard to the balcony.
On the balcony, a light breeze blew...
Rebecca looked at Howard and spoke with a smile, "First explain to why you didn’t co back last night, then I’ll explain the luggage situation."
Howard stretched his arms and wrapped them around Rebecca, apologetically saying, "I’m sorry, I had so aftermath to personally deal with last night... it’s all sorted now."
Rebecca’s clear eyes smiled at Howard, "Can you tell what kind of aftermath?"
"So trivialities," Howard muttered vaguely, then leaned towards Rebecca’s ear and said, "It’s still early, should we continue last night’s business?"
His voice was hoarse, the breath on her ear seed to carry an instant heat.
Rebecca turned her head aside, shyly said, "I have serious matters to discuss with you!"
Howard had already leaned in to kiss Rebecca’s neck, his warm lips gently touching.
Rebecca squird under his teasing breath, instinctively shrugging her shoulders, her hands shyly pushing him, "Don’t do that... I really have sothing to say..."
Howard hugged her soft body, his chin resting on her fair, round forehead, "Okay, I’ll give you a few minutes."
Rebecca slightly distanced from Howard, looked up at him with eyes full of expectation, "Let’s go on a vacation today, shall we?"
Howard’s deep black eyes subtly tightened, "Today?"
Rebecca nodded and buried her charming little face in Howard’s embrace, coquettishly said, "I suddenly really want to go today, is that okay?"
"So, those two suitcases are all packed by you?"
"Yes, people say in life one should have an impulsive trip, and I hope you can leave work today and accompany to Foam Island for a vacation..."
"But you can’t bear to leave Andrew?"
"I just told Andrew about our vacation plan, he’s very understanding, saying he’ll be good at ho and listen to grandma..."
"Becca, this decision is quite sudden, I need to make arrangents."
Rebecca mumbled in Howard’s chest, "You’re the boss; you don’t need to ask for leave, do you?"
Howard chuckled, "Fine, let’s leave the day after tomorrow."
Rebecca pouted, "No, I’m saying today."
"But I need to arrange so company matters..."
Before Howard could finish, Rebecca interrupted him, frustrated, "Didn’t you already plan our vacation a long ti ago?"
