Skyler Jones sneered, "Are you still afraid I will try to take Becca from you now?"
Howard Geoffrey said seriously, "I don’t want you to remain obsessed."
"My business doesn’t need your interference!!"
"I don’t have the leisure to interfere with your affairs, but you are my older brother, and Christine is Becca’s sister."
Skyler Jones put down the wine glass and left directly.

Christine asked, puzzled, "What are you talking about?"
"Just now, Howard told there’s a misunderstanding between you and ..." Skyler Jones smiled, his smile filled with disdain for Christine, "Is there really a misunderstanding between us? Christine, your acting has always been top-notch, even Howard was deceived by you, but your ugly face—I will always rember... how you frad , allowing M to capture my leverage, how you used my trust in you, letting M control for so many years, all thanks to you!!"
Christine was stunned.
Skyler Jones lifted her chin and softly asked, "You haven’t told Becca any of this, have you?"
Christine trembled, her lips pressed tight.
"I warn you, don’t use Becca’s kindness to help you, it’s disgusting enough acting with you, don’t force to tear you down in front of Marie."
Throwing these words, Skyler Jones strode away.
Christine seed to co to herself, and in the corner of her eye was Skyler Jones’ sharply departing solitary figure.
Christine’s body softened, nearly falling, luckily she supported herself against a decorative wall just in ti.
She slowly walked out of the villa’s hall, into the garden, and found an inconspicuous spot where she sat down slowly.
Her eyes stung intensely, and finally, the tears that had been circling in her eyes broke down and flowed out...
She didn’t allow herself to cry out loud, only used her hand to tightly cover her mouth, her body trembling from the restraint.
Witnessing this scene, Mrs. Geoffrey intended to approach her, but her body was suddenly held from behind.
It was Howard Geoffrey.
Mrs. Geoffrey turned to see her younger son, furrowing her brows, "Why are you here too?"
"I also ca because I heard the argunt between my brother and Christine."
"Skyler really went too far, how could he speak to Christine like that?" Mrs. Geoffrey looked heartbroken at Christine, who was now bravely wiping away her tears.
Howard Geoffrey also glanced at Christine, lightly sighed, "It’s definitely not easy to unravel this knot."
"Howie, I just heard Skyler ntion sothing about a fra-up... Could it be that Skyler being caught by M really has sothing to do with Christine?"
Howard Geoffrey shook his head, "It’s a long story, but Christine is innocent."
Mrs. Geoffrey bit her teeth in anger, "That damn Vivian Lindsey, she ruined the lives of your entire generation."
Howard Geoffrey gently embraced his mother, "Don’t worry, I’ll handle the matter between my brother and Christine."
"I’ll go talk to Christine..."
"No... Mom, I understand Christine, she wants to be alone right now."
Mrs. Geoffrey sighed heavily, looking again at Christine, who had regained a strong visage, her tears already dried by the wind, and no sign of weakness was visible.
