Charles Douglas, enraged and disregarding courtesy, asked, "Are you saying you didn’t have a sexual relationship with my daughter?"
"You can ask your daughter about that yourself."
Charles Douglas looked at Jennifer Douglas, only to see her head lowered at that mont.
Apparently, Jennifer Douglas silently confird that there was no substantive relationship between her and Skyler Jones.
Yet Charles Douglas was still unsatisfied, "Then, since you don’t intend to be genuinely involved with my daughter, why did you accept my help on the TSOL project?"

"This damned kid..." Charles Douglas was so angry that his cane shook.

Rebecca Quentin ca next to Skyler Jones, watching the vast floor-to-ceiling window just like him, and slowly said, "Mom told you’re planning to sell ’Oversky’?"
Skyler Jones remained silent.
"’Oversky’ is your life’s effort, and you’ve always wanted it to grow bigger and stronger. Why the sudden decision to give it up?"
Skyler Jones pressed his lips together, still silent.
Rebecca Quentin turned to look at him, "Is it because of my sister?"
"I’m sorry, Becca. I bear more than half the responsibility for your sister’s departure." Skyler Jones finally spoke.
Rebecca Quentin shook her head, biting her lip and holding back the grief in her heart, she choked out, "The doctor said that the rapid deterioration of my sister’s condition was related to her mood...
