Skyler Jones reached out, intending to hold Christine Quinn’s shoulders, but she stepped back, "You don’t need to consider my feelings, just say it."
Skyler Jones slowly dropped his hand, staring at Christine Quinn’s determined face.
Skyler Jones suddenly shook his head, "I can’t say."
"Just tell the truth," she said.
Skyler Jones looked at Christine Quinn with tired eyes, "She is rebellious but asured, carefree but thoughtful, innocent, kind, obedient, without scheming, without concerns, she uses laughter to resolve the frustrations of reality, resilient, endearing."
Her words caught in her throat, she asked, "And now?"

Christine Quinn didn’t say anything more either.
After a while, Christine Quinn heard the steady departing footsteps and the faint closing of the door.
Once certain he had left, Christine Quinn finally turned around, looking at the door he had exited.
Her gaze was vacant, as if still suppressing the pain...
Turning around, she sat weakly on the edge of the bed, tears dropping one by one onto the pristine quilt.
Skyler Jones sat in the car, his mind filled with that frail figure of Christine Quinn standing by the floor-to-ceiling window.
"It seems I’m the one making you feel calculative... if that’s the case, why are you still with ?"
"It seems I’ve beco the petty, unreasonable person in your eyes again..."
