Da Bai crooked his lips, prying open Little Pudding’s tiny hand holding onto him as he lifted the child up.
Xiao Shuju hurried over a few steps and looked him up and down. With a smirk, she pretended to smack him, saying, "You mischievous Yebai, you’ve gotten fat! I told Gu Nuan she’s the best wife, no one is as good as her. She works hard managing the company while you enjoy yourself and grow fat like a pig. Aren’t you ashad?"
Da Bai opened his mouth but couldn’t defend himself.
Little Pudding wouldn’t allow the aunt to hit the uncle and shouted, "My uncle is just fine, nothing wrong with him. Stop talking nonsense if you don’t know!"
Xiao Shuju was startled and shut her mouth, then pouted at the child: Little ones don’t understand; sotis hitting and scolding are forms of affection.
Xiao Yebai didn’t keep bickering with his silly third sister, instead, he noticed how the old lady looked at him, like it was hard to express.
"Grandma, you’ve arrived." Xiao Yebai said.
"Sigh..." The old lady sighed, though there was a hint of happiness as she playfully scolded him, "Just as your third sister said, your wife works too hard. You can’t treat her like this anymore, understand?"
It seems these past three months of rest paid off, now everyone in his family has taken his wife’s side.
Da Bai chuckled to himself: "My wife is capable, I’m no match for her. I can only run errands and do odd jobs for her."
Xiao Jianming understood right away; his son was announcing he didn’t want to take Gu Nuan’s current position.
"Everyone’s ho safe and sound, that’s the best New Year gift," the old lady said slowly, clearly, having gone through so many ups and downs, the elder now seed to care less about money.
Then, a few mbers of the Xiao Family decided to go upstairs to check on Gu Nuan.
Not long after, Zhang Sanfeng and the others suddenly got the news and rushed over at night.

Zhang Sanfeng and the others stood at the door, watching him devour his food. Xiao Yebai holding a chicken leg in one hand and a crab in the other stunned them.
"Second brother—" Zhan Dapeng cautiously walked over, wanting to feel Xiao Yebai’s forehead, normally people wouldn’t think of eating first upon waking up, perhaps Xiao Yebai’s brain got scrambled a bit from all the sleeping.
