Now reading: Chapter 1161: Your Son Is Alive (8) from Contract Marriage: Billionaire and His Deaf Wife, a Romance novel by Fatty Mom is kind-hearted.

Gu Ma was stunned for a mont; it was the first ti she heard about Ou Yanan’s engagent.

The two of them had just turned their heads back not long ago, yet felt soone pass by the doorway again.

Gu Ma looked back once more. Old Mrs. Xiao turned her head and exclaid, "Are my eyes playing tricks on ?"

It seed that the shadow passing by now was Ou Yanan, who had already walked past earlier.

Gu Ma couldn’t stop the old lady as she quickly walked to the door. She grabbed the door fra and poked her head out to look at the corridor, only to see a figure rushing to the entrance of the ward and going inside; it was indeed Ou Yanan’s back.

The old lady was confused: "Did I see one person as two?" she said, turning to ask Gu Ma.

Gu Ma was dazed, shaking her head; how could she know what was going on.

Everything was ready in the treatnt room.

Tang Sili put on a mask and gloves, placing the anesthetic machine’s breathing mask over Gu Nuan’s mouth and nose, saying: "Mrs. Xiao, follow my instructions, take a deep breath."

Gu Nuan had just taken a breath when she began to feel dizzy. Just then, soone entered from the door, quickly changing clothes and moving through the surgery room’s isolation curtain.

The person walked to her bedside, inspecting the operation of the anesthetic machine and monitors.

Gu Nuan glanced sideways, catching sight of the other person’s eyes above the large mask.

Upon seeing those eyes, she realized it was Ou Yanan. No, it wasn’t Ou Yanan—Gu Nuan just regained so clarity, straining to open her eyes wider to see if she was dreaming. The gas volu in the breathing mask suddenly increased, flooding her mouth and nostrils, making her head spin more and more until her eyelids gradually drooped and fully closed.

Tang Sili saw her close her eyes, entering the anesthesia state, and then raised his head to look at the person who had just co in, suddenly questioning, "Who are you?"

The person didn’t answer but adeptly picked up the catheter placed on the operating table and started intubating the patient.

Tang Sili watched the person’s actions, with a skill seeming capable of performing the task even with closed eyes, and could confirm with 100% certainty that this person was not his student, Ou Yanan, as this person was clearly a veteran, a veteran whose skills could rival his own.

It would take Ou Yanan more than five years of effort to reach this level.

At this mont, the door creaked open again, and soone else entered.

Tang Sili looked over; this ti, the person who changed clothes and ca in was indeed his student, Ou Yanan.

Neo suddenly realized that this man called Tang Sili was more cunning than he imagined. Apparently, Tang Sili was not overly surprised by the two of them appearing simultaneously, probably having suspected this scenario beforehand.

The three of them stood by the patient’s bedside, simultaneously looking at the patient who was connected to the anesthetic machine.

Tang Sili then nodded to the other two: "Let’s begin."

Ou Shihua hadn’t returned ho either, and she didn’t know if he had gone to find another woman again.

Her husband, unreliable; her son, no word at all, seemingly willing to abandon her for that Gu Nuan. Ou Chunhua did not understand what was happening.

How had she ended up like this?

The phone had been ringing for an unknown amount of ti; she couldn’t hear it, couldn’t hear anything anymore. The entire world for her was now shrouded in darkness.
