Su Yide inwardly scoffed, thinking to himself that Tang Sili was still from a rural household in a poor village. Tang Sili spoke up before him, addressing the Director, saying, "Director, Dr. Su and I have always been from two different worlds."

The Director seed to go along with everyone and gave a slight smile, then turned to Su Yide and said, "Dr. Su, look, our hospital is now cooperating with the policy and has established a guiding partnership with several community hospitals. We need to designate key personnel to go down and provide guidance. The surgery departnt needs to send soone too."
Su Yide imdiately broke into a cold sweat, fearing this ant he was being transferred away from here.
Once in the community hospital, his value would plumt overnight, done for. Doctors from community hospitals and those from tertiary hospitals are completely different tiers, worlds apart.

The Director seed surprised, "What, you don’t want to go down and lead? Would you rather assist Professor Tang in the surgical ward?"

Su Yide glanced at Tang Sili’s face again, his heart undoubtedly in turmoil.
"What do you think? Going to the community hospital to lead, just like Professor Tang, is still a leadership role after all—"
The Director gently persuaded.
Su Yide suddenly asserted firmly, "No! Director, please let stay here. I’ve always worked in the surgical ward and have deep connections with the people here. I can go through fire and water for the future head, just like I would be able to."
Everyone was shocked by his loud declaration, thinking, with the Director going to such lengths, was this really how Su Yide wanted to respond?
Ou Yanan blinked, clearly seeing a flicker of displeasure cross the Director’s smiling face. It was that feeling no leader could endure, having their suggestion publicly refused by a subordinate.

The Director slowly stated, "Fine then, since Dr. Su’s feelings for Professor Tang are so deep, let him stay."
