When Gu Nuan encountered his unique gaze, she was about to lower her head to avoid it, but he grasped her hand and lifted a corner of his lips, "You want to applaud, which ans I played well, right?"

"A tip, is it?" Gu Nuan thought about how much money she had in her pocket. He was very wealthy and truly did not care about her money.

Thus, after he handed the violin to soone else, he pulled her up abruptly.

Gu Nuan gasped softly, wondering what he intended to do.

He held her waist with both hands, his mouth close to her ear, "Hold onto my shoulders."

The violinist beside them started playing a slow dance tune.

Gu Nuan bowed her head, staring intensely at the tips of her shoes, "I can’t dance—"

"It’s okay, I’ll lead you. This isn’t a public venue, I simply want to dance with my wife," he said, beginning to guide her steps forward.

Gu Nuan couldn’t break free, and since she couldn’t dampen his spirits in front of so many people, she kept her head low, almost resting on his chest, her eyes intently focused on her own feet and his, fearful of dirtying his beautiful, expensive, handmade white leather shoes.

Since the lody was intermittent to her ears.

Basically, she wasn’t stepping in ti with the rhythm of the music, it was all a matter of his hands guiding her waist, swaying her body.

Being swayed like this felt like a boat drifting on the river, comfortable and cozy, as if being cradled, as though she were about to dream.

Her body unconsciously leaned in, her head resting in the hollow of his shoulder, slling the scent on him—faint, like that of lilacs. She wondered if he wore so floral cologne that was intoxicating.

Feeling as if she had drunk alcohol, Gu Nuan thought.

Leaning on a man like this was sothing she had never imagined before.

Xiao Yebai pressed her head against his shoulder, gently stroking her hair, feeling its silkiness sliding through his fingers, as if the montary passage of ti had solidified into eternity.

Surrounding sounds gradually quieted, and the crowd thinned, as if no one wanted to disturb this beautiful scene.

The couple just wanted to lean on each other alone in this world.

An hour later.

After dinner, when she was about to get in the car to go ho, a phone call ca in.

"Has ’Arican Tiger’ arrived?"

She heard him speak like this.

"Okay, I’ll go et him." Having said that, Xiao Yebai told Zang Xiaolian, who was driving, "You go ahead and take your sister-in-law ho. I’ll drive another car to a place myself."

"Yes, Second Brother," Zang Xiaolian answered.

Xiao Yebai then climbed into the backseat, his expression sowhat apologetic, "Nuannuan, I promise I’ll be back soon."

Gu Nuan said, "I know."

The Arican Tiger, hearing her say such simple three words, pouted like a little child, revealing a childlike temperant, "Is that all you have to say? Couldn’t you tell to definitely be back within an hour?"

Little kids want a lollipop. After so long, could she not know what he wanted? Seeing the slight lift of his lips, she said, "I’ll definitely be waiting for you at ho."

He was surprised by her response, then it dawned on him, his eyes shining, and he suddenly kissed her on the face, saying, "Nuannuan, you are too good, the best in the world. No one has ever said this to before, you know?"

So, it turns out, little kids are really easy to appease. Such simple words, and she was the first to say them to him?

Had no one ever waited for him to co ho? Yes, he had said his mother died shortly after he was born. A child without a mother is like a blade of grass.
