Su Yixia and Gu Nuan left the Employnt Guidance Center. They settled down in a student-run cafe on campus.
"Should we make the call?" Su Yixia, holding her phone, compared the number given by the teacher.
The senior that Teacher Li ntioned was soone they had never heard of before.
"Surna Fei, Fei Yubo." Su Yixia connected her phone to the campus network, hoping to find a trace of this senior brother Fei in the school forums.
After searching, she only found the na Fei Yubo in the school track and field team, and it was unclear if it was the sa person because this Fei Yubo specialized in high jump and had won a championship in provincial track and field competitions.

"Alright." Su Yixia took a pen to continue debating, "You say it’s a disguised number, why use a disguised number if he’s not up to no good?"
"I’m just speculating for now. If you call it, it should go to a fixed telephone echo service."
"That’s not a disguised number. A disguised number when called back turns into a real phone number."
"Don’t you understand what I’m saying? He disguised this landline number to communicate with others. So the teachers couldn’t see that this number wasn’t his real mobile number. Actually, he only wants to find people himself, not to be found by others. Maybe the teacher insisted he leave a contact number, aning this phone is essentially useless."

Even her own father, a company boss, had encountered such situations. Desperate to network with soone, getting that person’s real private contact number was truly a difficult feat.
Those more capable than you simply have the privilege to choose whether to answer your calls or not.
"Then there’s no need to call," Su Yixia decided to give up, trusting Gu Nuan’s words, "We probably can’t get into Changda. Let’s look for other opportunities. After all, the world is so vast; one less company won’t matter. I don’t believe there will co a day when Changda begs to join them!"
Gu Nuan smiled slightly, "Being unwilling to admit defeat is one thing, but don’t get too upset over it. That would be childish."
Su Yixia looked up to her with complete admiration, "What do we do now? Do you still want to try for Changda?"
"Didn’t you just check? This senior is low-profile. Even though he’s in the school, he could actually be considered a celebrity," Gu Nuan said.
Su Yixia thought about it and agreed; Fei Yubo was low-key. If not, with his accolade of winning a championship, he could have been well-known throughout the school much sooner, instead of them not having heard his na before.

Gu Nuan retraced the mobile number on the paper.

"Firstly, why this can’t be his contact number. With his status in society, especially if he’s a businessman or a manager, he wouldn’t possibly use such a number."
Su Yixia looked closely; indeed, the string of numbers in the mobile number wasn’t very auspicious, too many fours.

The two of them picked up their bags and left the crowded cafe.
