"Will Mr. Zhuang co tonight?" Zhong Qiaohui suddenly asked.
They were originally Zhuang Haoran’s friends, so it seed even more unusual if Zhuang Haoran didn’t show up.
Speaking of which, they hadn’t seen Zhuang Haoran since they arrived here.
Gu Nuan didn’t seem inclined to answer the question.
Zhong Qiaohui shrugged her shoulders.
As they prepared their clothes, it was ntioned that dinner here was served at eight in the evening, so there was still plenty of ti. The two retreated to their rooms to rest and catch up on sleep lost on the plane.
When they woke up, it was seven o’clock.
They were awoken by hunger.
As Gu Nuan lifted the quilt, she could hear the commotion outside the castle.
It seed the master of the house had returned.
A parade of luxury cars entered the castle one after another, parking in the open space.
The Zhuang Family appeared to have quite a few mbers.
Zhong Qiaohui couldn’t help but open the window to take a look, and from a distance through the window, she gestured to Gu Nuan, who was also standing on the balcony, saying, "Could there be over a hundred people?"
Over a hundred was definitely an exaggeration, but there were certainly at least twenty-sothing people, counting the children.
All the staff in the castle were mobilized to serve so many of the big and small masters returning to the castle. As for the highest authority, the white-haired, blue-eyed Granny Zhuang seed to have returned early and was already in her master bedroom trying on new clothes.
Gu Nuan dressed and sat at the dressing table, combing her hair in the mirror.
The European butler ca to her room, knocked twice, saw that her door was unlocked, entered her room, and gestured to her, indicating that the master had invited them downstairs for dinner.
Gu Nuan and Zhong Qiaohui each exited their rooms, and both walked down the stairs together.
The dining room was set up behind the first-floor hall, a massive space capable of accommodating over a hundred diners at once.
A long European-style table adorned with a beautiful gold-edged tablecloth had twenty chairs set up on either side.
As Gu Nuan and Zhong Qiaohui entered, they saw everyone seated by the dining table, just waiting for them to arrive.
Seeing their arrival, Zhuang Haoxiong stood up from the first seat on the left and walked to the dining room door to greet them.
Just like their previous eting at the airport, Zhuang Haoxiong held their fingers, smiling as he complinted, "Ladies, you look stunning tonight. In Chinese, you might say ’as beautiful as goddesses.’
Zhong Qiaohui giggled as before.
Gu Nuan curved her mouth slightly with a faint smile.
Zhuang Haoxiong continued, "Have you t our grandmother yet? Co, co here."
He was to lead them to the host of the household for an introduction.
Gu Nuan and the others followed Zhuang Haoxiong to one end of the long rectangular table.
There sat an elderly lady with white hair, on a chair that seed as if it was cast from gold.
This elderly lady had a queen-like face, seeming loving yet slightly dignified. Her blue eyes were as noble as sapphires.
Following European etiquette, Zhong Qiaohui and Gu Nuan paid their respects to Granny Zhuang.
Granny Zhuang’s dignified gaze rested on them, a slight smile seed to form as she said to Zhuang Haoxiong, "Hurry and have them sit. You’re all hungry, having waited for us a long ti?"
It seed a few children seated at the table were starving, for upon hearing Granny Zhuang’s words, they imdiately picked up their knives and forks.
Granny Zhuang gently urged them, "Go on, start eating."
