Capítulo 1343: Chapter 1344: Her Fear and Fright
The urgent roar resounded throughout the room, yet Feng Jinglei, who was completely engulfed in fear, seed unable to hear or see anything. Her terrified eyes hidden under the darkness, she curled her body into a ball, trembling in fear in a corner of the bathtub.
Separated by a door, Qin Feimo couldn’t see her figure, his heart tornted with frustration, wishing he could light up the entire room to make her appear before him.
“Feng Jinglei! Where are you!? Answer quickly!”
Finally, the trembling body curled up in the corner showed so movent. She lifted her fear-filled eyes and saw the faint light behind the bathroom door.

After a brief pause, Qin Feimo quickly walked over, grabbing a towel from the shelf to wrap her naked body.

With the light, Feng Jinglei felt a bit better, though the hand tightly gripping his shirt didn’t let go.
Feeling that she was still engulfed in fear, Qin Feimo turned his head, and could only see her pale face through the flashlight function on his phone.
“It’s okay.” He attempted to release her because she was now only covered with a bath towel, making him sowhat… uneasy.
But Feng Jinglei gripped tighter, as if his departure would also take away a sliver of light in the dark space.
“Don’t go…” Her voice was extrely soft, her gaze still sowhat vacant and dazed.
The soft-spoken two words made Qin Feimo slightly stunned. He looked down at her pale face.
She seed delicate as water, yet she had an inner stubbornness, never easily bowing her head in front of him.
The phrase ‘don’t go,’ under what terrifying circumstances did it co out of her mouth?
Qin Feimo’s heart was profoundly stirred by her, his hand unconsciously pausing, no longer trying to push her away.
But simply sitting like this wasn’t a solution. The power was out, and she was only wrapped in a bath towel. The autumn night was sowhat cold.
“Feng Jinglei.” His deep, hoarse voice sounded from above her head, very light, very gentle.
He called her, but the person in his arms remained motionless; he could still feel her trembling body.
“I need to go check what’s wrong with the power.”
Feng Jinglei still didn’t respond, her eyes vacant and staring blankly at a spot in the room, devoid of any thought, like a soulless puppet.
