She halted her steps and looked at the man, “You go ahead.”
He frowned slightly; the reason he left with her was, of course, to return to the company together.
Glancing at the ti, he lifted his hand, “There’s ten minutes left. If you’re late by a minute, I’ll deduct your full attendance bonus of fifteen hundred this month!”
Fifteen hundred might be nothing to him, but to Feng Jinglei, it was a substantial sum.
Hearing his words, she looked up in shock, “You’re threatening ?”
Being late by one minute would at most result in a day’s attendance deduction, not a full penalty! He was clearly trying to intimidate her.
“Yes.” He nodded, responding so confidently, yet so calmly!
Feng Jinglei was rendered speechless, desperately wanting to retort, ‘Go ahead and deduct it!’ But she didn’t have the luxury to do so.
She didn’t have money and didn’t want to spend Grandpa Qin and Grandma Qin’s money anymore. Fifteen hundred could be her month’s living expenses now.

Standing there in thoughtful silence for a long while, Feng Jinglei finally moved forward to walk alongside him.

Taking a deep breath to ease the pain in her wrist, Feng Jinglei finally exhaled.
Just as she was about to switch hands to open the car door, the next second a hand suddenly reached over and opened the car door for her.
Glancing up, she t his eyes. Feng Jinglei’s heart began to stir again, so she imdiately looked down and quickly got into the passenger seat two seconds later.
After closing the door, Qin Feimo circled the front of the car to the driver’s seat.
The blue sports car exited the underground parking lot, and along the way, Feng Jinglei faced the window, leaning against the seat back, without uttering a word.
But as ti passed, she suddenly noticed that the car’s direction was surprisingly not heading to M Group, but…back to the Commander Residence?
Recognizing the familiar roads, Feng Jinglei had to sit up straight and turn to look at the man driving.
“We’re not going back to the company?”
The man kept his eyes on the road, his lips moving slightly, “You injured your hand, so just rest at ho for the next couple of days.”
She was stunned, a little surprised.
Didn’t he just say he’d deduct a month’s full attendance bonus for being late by a minute? And now he’s letting her rest at ho for two days?
“I’m fine, I don’t need to rest.” She turned her head, unappreciative of his ‘special concern.’
“I said you’re resting, so you’re resting.” One sentence, leaving no room for refusal, like commanding her to rest.
She turned her head slightly, aware of the concern in his words.
But she didn’t understand why a man who should hate her to the bone cared about her.
“I… no longer have any feelings for you, you don’t have to do these things to make fall in love with you again.” Rembering Ma Pianpian’s words, that all his actions were just to make her fall in love with him only to discard her, she couldn’t help but speak.
But to Qin Feimo, these words were puzzling, his brows slightly furrowing, “What did you say?”
She turned her head, her gaze firm, “I said I won’t fall in love with you again, so stop wasting your effort!”
