Upon hearing this, Xia Xing’s face showed a flash of panic, but it quickly disappeared.
She smiled, "There’s no need for you to check. The Doctor just gave a full body examination."
Li Yuan frowned slightly, "Is it just anemia?"
"Yes."
As a doctor, Li Yuan certainly knows that if anemia is severe, it is indeed easy to faint, especially when suddenly standing up from a squatting or sitting position due to insufficient blood supply.
Turning his head, he saw Huo Yishan still standing there, with her back facing him, and Li Yuan couldn’t help but find it a bit strange.
"Shanshan?"
Huo Yishan’s back stiffened. Recalling what Xia Xing had urged her, she didn’t dare to turn around, fearing that when she faced his deep eyes, she wouldn’t be able to hold back her tears.
"I, I’ll go pay the bill!" She randomly found an excuse and took a big step toward the doorway.
"I’ll go with you." Knowing that she had cried and her voice was very hoarse, he suddenly felt a pang of heartache.
"No!" In her anxiety, she instinctively turned around and stared at the man standing there.
At the mont their eyes t, Huo Yishan’s tears almost fell. Noticing Xia Xing behind him shaking her head at her, she did her best to hold back the tears in her eyes.
She spoke calmly, "You stay here with Auntie, she just woke up."
Noticing her obvious weeping and choking, Li Yuan frowned slightly, feeling her reaction was sowhat abnormal.
Wasn’t his mother already awake?
He raised his eyes and watched her figure disappear at the door of the ward, dazed and lost in thought for a long ti.
"Yuanyuan."
It wasn’t until Xia Xing’s gentle voice sounded behind him that he turned around and looked at his mother.
"Mom, what’s going on with Yishan?"
Xia Xing, knowing her son was very observant, smiled and said, "Isn’t it still because of you."
Li Yuan was taken aback, "?"
"When I fainted, Shanshan was almost scared to death, and she couldn’t get through to you when she called. There was a traffic accident on the road which caused a huge traffic jam, she was so anxious, thinking I was going to die."
Her unobtrusive tone left no trace for Li Yuan to see anything unusual, making him realize that not answering the phone really might have frightened Yishan.
After all, at that mont, it was just her and his mother.
"Sorry, I was in a eting and left my phone on the desk, forgetting to bring it in." He looked at his mother with an apologetic expression.
Xia Xing held her son’s hand and smiled understandingly, "Mom knows, you just took over the conglorate, there’s definitely a ton of things to handle. Actually, now, just having Shanshan keeping company, I’m incredibly happy, so happy that I don’t even want to go back to the old estate."
Listening to his mother’s words, Li Yuan couldn’t help but smile, revealing a faint arc, "Then when I marry Shanshan, you can move into the villa with us."
Xia Xing’s eyes paused, suddenly turning moist with sadness.
She naturally looked forward to that ti but didn’t know if she could wait until then.
"What’s wrong with you?" Noticing his mother’s obviously red eyes, Li Yuan was montarily stunned.
Xia Xing hurriedly raised her hand to wipe her moist eyes, "Nothing, just thinking about how I haven’t seen you at ho for years, and when I think about our family being together in the future, I’m happy."
Li Yuan smiled, "In the future, no matter where I go, I’ll definitely take you with ."
Twenty-eight years, he rarely returned ho while studying at the dical university, and after graduation, he went to Country Z. Thinking about it, he indeed had little ti to accompany his mother.
