When Qin Feimo turned his head, he saw her body trembling slightly from the rain, and even the color of her lips had darkened a little.
Realizing they couldn’t really shelter from the rain here, his gaze swept around and landed on the still-rotating Ferris wheel.
That seed like a good place to hide from the rain.
"Co on, let’s go in there!"
As the words fell, he grabbed her and headed back toward the entrance of the Ferris wheel.
Feng Jinglei hadn’t even had ti to catch her breath. When she ca back to her senses, she found that she and he had ducked into a glass cabin that was sealed off on all sides.
Feeling the glass cabin slowly rising, her eyes shifted, and only then did she realize they had rushed into the Ferris wheel.
"There." Seeing that the rain could no longer reach them at all, Qin Feimo finally patted the rainwater off his clothes, looking as if he’d just breathed a sigh of relief.
But Feng Jinglei walked to the edge by the window, looking down through the glass at the ground that was getting farther and farther away from her.
The Ferris wheel she had longed for had actually co true, and... she was on it with Qin Feimo.
Turning her head and looking at Qin Feimo, who was still brushing off the rain, Feng Jinglei felt a bit complicated for a mont.
Qin Feimo turned his head and saw her staring blankly at him, and couldn’t help asking, "What’s wrong?"
She snapped back to reality and quickly averted her gaze. "Nothing!"
He glanced at her suspiciously for a few seconds, then, not thinking too much about it, went back to flicking the raindrops off his hair.
"Totally soaked!" He really didn’t like the clammy feeling, and he looked rather annoyed by it.
Feng Jinglei gave him a look, then turned back, staring at the torrential rain outside the Ferris wheel, letting it carry the two of them higher and higher.
The atmosphere was a bit strained. Qin Feimo sat down and watched her stand at the window the whole ti, looking out. He had no idea what she found so interesting out there.
"What are you looking at?" he couldn’t help asking.
She turned her head and glanced at him. Not knowing how to answer, she casually replied, "Nothing."
"Nothing, and you’re still looking?"
His question stumped her; she had no words to counter.
"I’m... looking at the view."
"With rain this heavy, you can see anything clearly?" He frowned, the damp cling of his clothes making him extrely uncomfortable.
She was completely at a loss for words.
"I’m just watching the rain!"
A chill spread through her palm, making her feel a bit cold, and she instinctively wrapped her arms around herself.
Qin Feimo took it in and clearly noticed that her clothes were almost soaked through as well.
Looking down at the ground that was getting farther and farther away, he suddenly felt that coming in here to hide from the rain might have been a bad choice.
Because he had no idea how long this thing would take to get back down to the ground. In other words, they had to stay in here the whole ti until it landed before they could get off?
But their clothes were already drenched. If this went on, how could they not catch a cold?
"Co here." Watching her still standing there, Qin Feimo suddenly spoke.
She turned her gaze, not quite understanding what he ant by "co here."
"What for?"
"I said co here." Feeling her shivering from the cold, Qin Feimo stretched out his long arm and directly yanked her toward him!
She stumbled, caught off guard by his pull, and her whole body pitched straight into his arms.
"Mm—!"
Before she could even stand up, the next second, Feng Jinglei felt two arms tighten firmly around her...
What was he doing?
She froze for a few seconds, then turned her head in shock, only to see Qin Feimo with a serious expression on his face, yet with no intention at all of letting her go.
"Y-you, what are you doing?" Looking up at his perfectly shaped jaw, she asked in a daze.
